G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

This series is truly one of my favorites because it has everything I love. Cool vampires, a kickass heroine in training, intriguing bad guys, mystery, and a nice swoon-worthy romance. This is one boxset that should not be passed up.

Wilder
If you love Buffy the Vampire Slayer you will definitely love Wilder. Wilder is a tale of a young girl Celeste—your average American teen ready to take that next step into college life—or at least that’s what she believes herself to be, until she begins having terrifying dreams filled with monsters, visions of her late father, and two mysterious brothers (Roman and Nico Constantin) move to town. After literally running into Roman—my favorite of the Constantin brothers, though I have to admit I have a soft spot for Nico too—at the local library, Celeste is instantly drawn to him and as their connection grows she discovers who she truly is and what role she’s destined for as a whole new supernatural world reveals itself. With twist and turns, and a new take on vampires, along with likable characters you root for from the very beginning, I found myself drawn into this world so immensely, that I read the entire thing in one day.

Wilder: Destiny
Hmm, what can I say about Wilder Destiny, the sequel to G.K. DeRosa’s debut novel Wilder…oh I know, IT’S AWESOME. That’s right I gave it all caps. This book truly was just as good as the first and here’s why. There was action, suspense, mystery, intrigue, fun new characters to love, some heartbreak mixed with a dash of hopefulness, and a premonition or two that if proves true, could leave things in devastation. Now who wouldn’t love that?

Wilder Destiny picks up a few month later with Celeste now in college with several bad guy takedowns under her belt as she fights to keep her town of Oak Bluffs safe from all the things that go bump in the night. But when she’s attacked by a demon sent to kill her, it becomes clear that there’s a new big bad in town. Now with the help of Roman, Nico, and Stellan she’s determined to figure out whom this player is and what it is they want before something truly horrible happens.

All in all I enjoyed this book and it’s Buffy meets Vampire Diaries—while still being original—feel. I recommend it to all those who loved the first and for those who love a good supernatural tale that pulls you right in after only reading the first two sentences. Well done, G.K. DeRosa. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Wilder: Revelations
After reading—and absolutely loving—the first two books in the Wilder series, I was super excited to get my hands on the next installment. And let’s just say…it did not disappoint.

Wilder: Revelations pretty much jumps right into action, picking up right where book two left off, with a certain someone coming back from the “great beyond” and all the repercussions that go along with it. It then takes the reader on a ride full of twists and turns, intriguing backstories, hinted at plots that make you start to question certain characters, and a new darkness to contend with that just might threaten Celeste’s very being. There are swoon-worthy moments that leave your heart full of the warm and fuzzies and there are moments where your jaw drops and your heart breaks. All in all, this book was just as wonderful as it’s predecessors, and I cannot wait to experience more of Celeste Wilder’s world. Bring on book four!

Wilder: Legacy
After reading the first three books and novella in this wonderful series, I had been eagerly waiting to read the final installment, and now that I have, I am both happy and sad. Happy because it was perfect, and sad because now the series is over. Although, I hear there will be an upcoming spinoff series, so at least I have that to look forward to. ☺

Wilder Legacy picks up a few months after the events of Wilder Revelation and jumps right back into the swing of things with hidden enemies, nefarious plots, and secrets from the past being revealed. With all the action, heartbreak, and swoon-worthy moments to give you all the feels, this book truly has a little bit of everything to keep you hooked all the way to the ending of this amazing series. I enjoyed/loved every single bit of it, especially watching (reading a good book plays like a movie in my head) Alek’s character reluctantly grow and evolve as he experiences emotions he’d previously closed himself off too. Not to mention Roman and Celeste and how… and I’ll stop right there as to not reveal any spoilers. ☺ Well done G.K. DeRosa. I look forward to reading more of your works in the future.

I was given a copy of these books in return for an honest review.

This is one of my favorite series! If you’re a fan of the supernatural and like Vampire Diaries (the books or the show) you’ll love Wilder. It’s a YA paranormal romance with action packed scenes, unexpected twists, and forbidden love.

Wilder: The Guardian Series
On the cusp of finishing high school Celeste Wilder discovers a mystical world with supernatural creatures, a world that she is more connected to than she realizes. She also meets the mysterious Roman and Nico Constantin and falls undeniably in love with one of them. Unfortunately trouble follows the brothers and their enemies’ sights are set on Celeste.

Wilder Destiny
Painful and dark secrets are revealed, complicating Roman and Celeste’s relationship. I was sitting on pins and needles, biting my nails with each action packed, romantic, and even heartbreaking scene. The twists and turns were unpredictable and so numerous my jaw was probably hanging open during a good portion of the book. There was more everything that I loved about the first one—more drama, more angst, more villains, more mystery, and more action.

Wilder Revelation
Wilder Revelation picks up right after the jaw-dropping cliffhanger in the second, Wilder Destiny, with the miraculous resurrection of Lilliana Constantin and no one is prepared for the outcome, least of all Alek. From that moment on excitement continues to build, leaving a path of chaos, destruction, and heartbreak. Of course there’s plenty of sweet (and sometimes steamy!) romance woven through all the monster hunting and mystery with the star-crossed lovers Roman and Celeste. Only now Roman’s not the only one with a dark side.

Wilder Legacy
In the final installment Celeste must not only deal with the evil living inside of her and the evil foes threatening the safety of the world, but also important decisions that will affect the rest of her life and that of her closest friends. The book was filled to the brim with shocking revelations, page turning action, heartbreaking romance, and sprinkles of witty humor. Secrets were unveiled and unlikely allies came together to stop centuries old evil. The ending was the best part! I never saw it coming (not even an inkling and I’d been asking myself how was this going to end without crushing my heart) until the last second and was so thankful of how it turned out.

Meh. Not anything extraordinary. Read 22% of the box series on KU so I was almost done with the first book. And tbh I took a ton of breaks from reading this. And I have mixed feelings about it.

I CAN say that while I was reading it I was into it but as soon as I would stop, I just did not want to continue reading. And this happened to me at least 4 times, which is why I had so many breaks. I can't even explain why I hate it tho. I think its just because this is simply a mediocre book. At the beginning its kind of like the vampire diaries but with less brother drama and more complex supernatural world. This however was simply not enough for me. I could not immerse myself into the writing nor the characters. It all fell flat, its so disappointing. Which is why I just can't continue wasting my time on the first book and much less on the entire series.

Sorry not sorry.
Either way, I leave it up to u to decide whether u want to invest ur time in this. For me, its simply not worth it.
Happy reads everyone!

Wilder: The Guardian Series

OMG 😳 …!!! This series was spectacular. At 1st, I started reading the first book, them]n I saw that it had a collection, and I stated reading it on Tuesday April 7th, I couldn’t put it down, it has been such a page turner, love ❤️ triangle, nail biter, and so incredible.
I found thus author by accident, and I stared reading her book/series DarkBlood Academy, that was so amazing and so well written that I decided to read all of her books, so I started at the beginning.

I definitely recommend this author and all her series...
Now onto her next series ”Magic Bound “

Great story

3rd person was a bit hard to get used to but it was needed with the different characters and their side of the story. The story line had a good plot. Lots of lies, deceit, betrayal, backstabbing, and of course young love. But it works out for the best at the end. Author wasn’t afraid to kill of characters so that was a plus.

This series was a fast read for me! I didn't find it lacking in getting my attention. Even though there are 5 books in the collection, each led into the other easily. There were unexpected turns and plot twists. The guys were hott and made you wish you could be her at times. It makes you realize things could always be worse. Loved the series!

It was entertaining but predictable. Each book repeated several scenes with similar outcomes. I found myself shaking my head at the decision of the female protagonist but understand that the author was portraying the poor decision making skills of a late teen.

Interesting blend of magic and supernaturals in this enemies to lovers fantasy romance with all the feels. If you love vampires, blurred lines between good and evil, and all around good banter, this book is for you.

Great series!

I really enjoyed reading this series. Adventure, vampires, werewolves, guardians, and a bit of romantic confusion. Perfect recipe for an interesting read. I'd recommend this series to readers looking for a few surprises with supernatural twists and a HEA ending.
