Cute story!
I liked this story, it wasn’t raunchy, it wasn’t too sweet and it wasn’t utterly predictable, though some things were, since clues were given ahead of time. I don’t think that really makes them predictable as much as the author wanting the reader to be able to see these things ahead of the actual explanation. Sometimes this bothers me because I like to be surprised but other times I am ok with the little hints about what is coming, in this case I was ok with the hints.
The story is about Sloane, a reporter who has a one night stand with Lennox, a pro football player and finds out she is pregnant. When she turns up after a game to let him know, he tells her that he has an identical twin who must have said he was Lennox. When Sloane loses her job and home and the twin refuses her calls and will not acknowledge the baby, Lennox has her move in with him. Though Sloane has ulterior motives as a reporter and Lennox and his twin both have secrets. The story was good but not outstanding so I gave it three stars. I did think the twins angle was a nice twist though.

This story suffers from a bad case of "so not what I expected"-plotline. Others might feel totally different than me but there were several things that totally did not work for me. And while it is well written it was not for me.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book
Oh wow wow wow this book was so not what I was expection but it was so much more. It has deception, and lies, It has compassion and hope. It has HOT sexy scenes and Love.
Lennox Hardy (The Iceman) is a star quarterback who has always been considered secretive by the press. His go to "No Comment " is why. After his most recent game he notices a petite beautiful curvy woman in the tunnel back to the locker room, He was instantly attracted but then he sees her press pass. When he hears the voice come over the intercom of the locker room with a question directed straight at him about "Family Values" he is not surprised to see that it came from that beautiful woman.
Lennox gets a BIG surprise when Sloan is waiting out in the parking lot for him and lot drops the bomb on him that she is pregnant. Sloan had a one night stand with Lennox Hardy at a fundraiser for a friend who is running for office again. When Sloan explains what happened that night Lennox knows immediatly that it was actually his twin brother Logan (who was pretending to be him yet again) that Sloan had hooked up with.
Oh what a tangled web we weave, Just WOW I cannot say how much I LOVED how this story played out. I LOVED LOVED LOVED Lennox, although he didnt realize it early on in the book you could feel that he loved Sloan. and the same when with her.
I HIGHLY recommend this book

I really enjoyed this easy flowing story, that is full of surprises and was just really nice to read. The characters were relatable with easy chemistry and a relationship that was just so ment to be.
It more than tricky in the beginning and things go crazy, in comes huge handfuls of deception and lies. Which then turns to compassion and love and slowly but surely it all start coming right. I really like the style in which Ava Ashley writes and find I am coming to the end of a great book before I know it. A great recommend from me

Blindsided is an excellent, emotional page turner. I loved how Ms. Ashley made me feel like I was living the story with the characters. Lennox and Sloan have depth and soul. It's got a little bit of everything for your reading pleasure. A true gem!

Great Book! It gets steamy hot, quick so 18 yrs and older is my recommendation!
Flows Fast, good character development throughout the book with am HEA! How can you go wrong with that!
I loved the Twins theme with one being a good guy and one being a Azz Hat! Sloane meets Logan at a fundraiser whom she thinks is Lennox the womanizing Pro Football Player that has never done any interviews, the one that never talks to the Press and as much as Sloane would love to get a story, on this night seeing him in his Tux, sleek and sexy she wants one thing, him and all of him!
Fast forward to Sloane at work trying to get one of her best pieces of work to her boss BUT she is running to the bathroom again, she has been suffering through this flu buzz. Her friend Emma goes over to her desk and cant find her and goes in the bathroom and finally Sloane comes up for air and out and washed her hands and the soap smell rolls her stomach again and she has to go to hug the toilet, finally she is able to come up for air and says Emma I am going to loose this piece I'm already to late and I have worked so very hard on it. it was perfect! Emma helps her up and starts asking questions about who she been with, her period and Sloane balks and says I have not even had time to do anything for weeks since working on this project. Then she remembers being with the fundraiser and then she starts adding up her periods and realizes not only is she late now she is thinking now that she didn't even have one last month! She is screaming OMG I cant be and Emma states Congrats Momma as one of the co-workers walks in she smiles and also congrats, wait, what did she just hear...
Lennox just finished a game and he is furious walking through the tunnel and the lights flashing blinding him and he is read hot mad out of the corner of one eye he sees a hot blonde leaning up on the wall and thinks damn she is Hot wonder if she is a hot fan or one of the other guys he starts her way then sees her badge and quickly makes a dodge and gets inside. Hugh his trainer tells him he has to get a shot from the hard hit he took or he wouldn't be able to play the next game. Lennox doesn't even care he just wants to leave and tells him to hurry it up before he is gone. Next thing he knows the hot curvy chick is yelling questions. Is she talking to him? What about being at the Congressman's fundraiser, he blows her off as another crazy chick and tells Hugh he is hitting the shower get ready of he will be gone. One of the players announces a party at Omnia that night, says girls and drinks what better way to celebrate a win they barely made. It almost makes Lennox's blood boil he is so mad at his teammates. he showers and is walking out getting madder by the minute going over everyone's mistakes, his team just isn't a team and its making him boiling mad. He gets closer and looks up and sees none other than the hot crazy chick, she is very hot he thinks as he looks her up and down as he walks, as he looks closer she is waving something in the air saying yeah you wont get near a reporter unless you are dressed up at a congressional fundraiser for his owner? What is she going on about, she say then he must have forgotten about the press that night because now he had made something very real happen with the press and she shows him a pregnancy test! He says I don't even know what you are talking about I haven't been to any of those even though the owner had asked. She says well your memory is terrible, he thinks about it and he says to himself that he doesn't think he would have forgotten her regardless of his reputation with the women this fired up hot as heck chick, nope he would remember her. So he breaks his rule and says lets go chat but he looks at her car and refuses to get in her car. As they drive not much talking but she wants some cheesy fries from a certain Restaurant, As they ride they are both checking each other out and he chuckles yep she is hot and he is affecting her like he does all women maybe she might have the wrong guy but she is looking really good right now, the more they drive he realizes she continues to stare hard like she is memorizing his face. He finally asks her what is up, and she then asks about the scar on his chin, and as his stomach churns he says what scar and she describes it perfectly and as he stares at her he also cannot believe his brother has done it again, he exact twin brother has done it once again, played to be him Lennox Hardy Pro football player, as it aggravates him because the have the exact face and trying to do this back in high school might have been fun but they were older barely got along, it was a low blow for him to still be doing it. Lennox see's Red, so he slams his foot on the peddle driving fast and crazy and says to Sloan "That wasn't me at the fundraiser it was my twin, Logan" then he jerks into the restaurant as she turns and her stomach churns with this news thinking WTH? She is in shock, a twin she wasn't with Lennox, now she is stunned nobody even knows this famous guy has a twin...and the next thing that happens is she throws up on herself, his console and some splatters on him. He backs out and says were do you live pretty sure you need a shower not cheesy fries. he takes her home and they are silent again, he is stewing about what his brother has down and she is just stunned! He gets to her house and right before he leaves he asks for her phone, she cant understands why but she gets it out of her bag and hands it over he puts his number in it and he also gives her Logan's phone number, knowing he wont help her out or step up to do the right thing and even in this puke mess he looks at her and wishes he would have been there that night, he wouldn't have forgotten her, no she was beautiful, now wonder Logan was drawn to her, he would have been as well! He watches her walk away to her door and inside and drives away....
Ok so that is the start in short version....but what happens from that moment until the end is Hot, Suspenseful, mystery and some very heartwarming need, want and love. From which brother though, is it the hothead that has a different woman almost every night from his football fame or does the twin that has always needed to be bailed out, is it time to step up and take care of business? We get to know Lennox and his fury, his dislike of press and his past, we meet his twin and find out about their past and what they both are looking for in the future and how Sloane and her baby will or will not be in it! We find out deep rooted things about these characters that they are drowning in. They seem to have the perfect lives but just as soon as they meet things around them start to tumble and two of them realize the attraction they have for each other is better than it has been with anyone else ever! Is it a fairy tale love or is a thing such as fairy tales a truth? You got to read this to find out!
The biggest surprise is they have just been working and surviving day end and day out, regardless of what all has happened they are harboring hurtful pasts that they just tucked away and went on with work and not much else...but now a baby is thrown into the mix and how does Logan fit into this mess, well when Lennox tells him his first response is shocking, I cant be bothered with that I am running this campaign I don't have time for that and it would for sure cost him for sure to become the congressman he wants to be, he tells Lennox that it will have to be taken care of, as Lennox listens he knows this is how Logan always handles things letting his brother take care of it!
Meet Sloane, Lennox and Logan and see how these three work out! Its a great book! I truly enjoyed the free ebook to review! Another hit Ava Ashley, just long enough, without a bunch of unneeded fluff and fillers! I would def. recommend this book! Steamy Hot!

I received an ARC for an honest review:
The book pretty much starts off with Sloane in the bathroom believing she is still fighting a stomach bug, but her friend is not believing that is so with the recent changes in her behavior, including that the smell of the soap is bothering her. Yes, Sloane is pregnant and the only person she has been with is the well know quarterback Lennox Hardy - one night stand. When she confronts him is where is really starts to get good. I will not go into details of what goes on as you will need to read for yourself but, I will tell you that I so LOVE Lennox. He is so much the protector. He has such a way of always taking care of people, even if they don't know it. With Sloane what starts out as a bit of sneakiness on her part to get to know him, which ugh I was not happy about(lol), turns out to take a turn that has good things happen. How it all plays out was well done. I was really happy with the way the story ended the only thing I wish to have had a bit more about was the story she ended up writing. I wanted to know how that was received. Other than that I truly enjoyed this book, once I started the first page I did not put it down.

>I am an independent reviewer. This book is a standalone romance with an HEA. Sloane is a reporter, accidentally pregnant from a one night stand with who she thinks is a football quarterback. Confronting Lennox, she finds out the father of her child is actually his less than ethical twin, Logan. The book introduces Lennox as a man whore hothead, but surprisingly redeems him in the end.
>Both Sloane and Lennox seem a little dense to me. She needs a co-worker to tell her she is pregnant and he doesn’t question his estranged brother interacting with his trainer. Besides those two plot flaws, the story was very sweet. Lennox really falls for Sloane. He sticks by her even after he thinks she betrayed him. Sloane is a reporter and is pulled into a deceit that could ruin Lennox’s life.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. There is quite a lot of football described, which is refreshing. The other members of the team and their wives were all unique characters that were fun to read. I am giving this story 4 stars.

>Both Sloane and Lennox seem a little dense to me. She needs a co-worker to tell her she is pregnant and he doesn’t question his estranged brother interacting with his trainer. Besides those two plot flaws, the story was very sweet. Lennox really falls for Sloane. He sticks by her even after he thinks she betrayed him. Sloane is a reporter and is pulled into a deceit that could ruin Lennox’s life.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. There is quite a lot of football described, which is refreshing. The other members of the team and their wives were all unique characters that were fun to read. I am giving this story 4 stars.

Sloane, an investigative reporter, finds out she is pregnant by a hot football quarterback. When she meets Lennox, he doesn't recognise her and she realises he is missing a scar. An ambitious, irresponsible twin brother is revealed, leading to Sloane making choices which go against her beliefs. Combined with difficult secrets from both their pasts, this makes for an interesting story. I was a bit confused in the beginning when people were briefly mentioned but the author ties it all up nicely in the end. The storyline was more than I expected, and the character development less. I would have liked to learn more about how the characters dealt with going from one brother to another (especially as they were twins), being a dad vs uncle, and does Lennox ever learn her secret?
In all, this was a pleasant afternoon read. I was gifted this ARC by the author and have voluntarily reviewed it.

Could have been a good story with better character development and story set up. None of the characters were likable or relatable. Anger issues, ethically challenged, and really unintelligent. Also the book needs a good edit - way too many mistakes in spelling in the first three chapters which is where I stopped reading.
Spoilers: within a couple of days the heroine discovers she is pregnant from a one night stand with a stranger, loses her job, and despite an excellent college education can no longer afford her home which was given to her by her dead mother. When she tracks down the high profile father she discovers she slept with his high profile twin which no one knew about even though they look identical and are in the public eye. The thing that had me stop wasting my time was when she slept with the not the father twin the second time she meets him.

Received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I was excited to start this book since I've never read a book like this before. And, honestly, I'm glad I did! I loved this book! I loved the chemistry and relationship between Sloane and Lennox! Her life was turned upside down, his life was turned upside down and those who deserved it had their lives turned upside down. It's a beautiful, honest story! Of course, I wouldn't have minded worse happening to Logan but he definitely got his! The buildup between Lennox and Sloane was a perfect pace to how their story came together and ended. I always love myself a happy ending and this book definitely didn't disappoint. A must read! I'd definitely recommend this book to everyone I know! Love love love!

I really enjoyed this story it's about two lost souls you don't realize that they're looking for love. At the beginning I don't think either one of them realizes that they're capable of Love or that they're worthy of love. Sloan as a reporter which Lenox can't stand only because the best family history. But he takes a leap and supports loan trusting her and eventually Falling in Love. Sloane is attracted to Lennox but uses him as a means to an end but somewhere along the line she realizes that love is worth more than a story. Atlantic twin brother into the mix who tries to cause all sorts of trouble between the two of them you get a great interesting read. I highly recommend this book.

I received a ARC that I am voluntarily leaving a review for. What are the chances that you sleep with one twin, end up prego and then fall for the other brother? I was trying to figure out why Lennox was getting mad so fast and then after discovering what he was was doing I got it. I enjoyed reading it and felt bad for what he has gone thru. I don't want to give to much away. I'm happy that they got married and baby #2.

Really hot read Ava does a fantastic job with this storyline with witty banter, conflicting views and family drama lays the foundation for emotional development in this contemporary. Deepening of the characters Lennox and Sloane, along with plot twists will keep the reader hooked, it's smart,fun and sexy the reader will keep turning the pages til the last word. This is dramatic, suspenseful, captivating and entertaining. It has an interesting storyline with characters that you either love or hate. It's an intense story with lies and betrayal, and love. Sloane is a naive young lady who gets a raw deal. Lennox is the broken, sad hero with a warm heart who wants to rescue her. The relationship between Sloane and Lennox is sweet and romantic, the other parts of the story make it completely engrossing.

Snagged as a freebie!
If this isn't free, it's worth every penny charged. Great story line, with some amazing characters. There was a part in the story I thought it was going to go in a different direction, and thought perhaps there was going to be another book. A little disappointed it didn't go that way, more of these two would of been great. Look forward to reading more from Ava Ashley.

Quick, easy romance read. Enjoyable but nothing to make it really stand out. Despite the partying (before meeting the heroine) Lennox is actually a pretty stand up guy. I wasn't happy that Sloane initially agreed to to do the story but I totally get why she would have given her situation at the time. I did think she took way to long to decide not to go through with it given how decent Lennox had been to her.

This was a ‘good’ book, but it didn’t have the drama nor the angst I was expecting or wanting.
Personally it’s a me problem, but when it involves having his twin brothers baby I was expecting a blow up- instead we got a little epilogue saying that she squashed Logan with an article. I wanted to know the dirty secrets, I wanted to see how it ruined his career.
But unfortunately we didn’t get that, all in all it was an enjoyable book, but not my type.

I loved this book. What started out as 2 people coming together for the wrong reasons, turned into something more. Lennox and Sloane made the perfect couple, with with some twists and turns, they figure out in the end that they are meant to be together. This is a must read!

I loved this book! Ava Ashley spun a story that grabbed me from the beginning and had me racing to see what was going to happen next. I was pulled in and couldn't wait to hear all of Lennox's history, which was hinted at in small portions along the way. Lennox and Sloan had great chemistry and were fun to read about! This book is definitely an entertaining read and well worth the time!

What a great story. It is very well written. It is funny, exciting, suspenseful and hot. What a surprise she got. A not so exciting night with one and a hot, hot night with the other. The other brother stepped up and did so much. It is well worth reading and I highly recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I loved it. It was so funny so freaking funny and sexy but so funny. I recommend this book so much my husband was looking at me funny cause I kept laughing. The characters were great wish there was an epilogue for Lennox I would of loved to hear his POV in the epilogue but other than that it was great. MUST READ

Blindsided is a well written, fast-paced bad boy sports romance story with an intriguing storyline and characters you either love or hate. There's family drama, secrets, lies, betrayal, deceit, witty banter, suspense, twists, sizzling chemistry, and hot scenes.
