Paige is finally taking her dream vacation to Europe...well kind of. She's chaperoning student tour groups throughout the summer so it's maybe not quite the dream vacation but hey, she's in Europe and everything she's studied for her history major and master's degree is very useful. All these places, ones she's only dreamed of and read about, she finally gets to experience first hand. And on top of that she can share her love and knowledge of it all with the tour groups.

Putting her hard work and degree to good use: CHECK!
Finally being in amazing locations she only ever dreamed of: CHECK!
Finding out her ex(perfect)-boyfriend is a last minute fill in chaperone: WHAT THE???...CHECK NO!!! In fact double/triple/quadruple/ UNCHECK!!!!!!!!!

Nick has been suspended from his job due to the loss of his partner in his last mission. Something doesn't quite add up and his gut is telling him to keep digging. Unfortunately every lead he finds is a dead end. Now what to do? He can't sit still and uncover what went wrong and who's responsible, he needs to keep moving forward. That's when the perfect opportunity opens up for him.

Head to Europe to help his friend who owns a summer tour group business, all while being undercover security on the job: CHECK!
Actually get to site see while in Europe for a change: CHECK!
Head back and investigate where his partner was murdered during his breaks: CHECK!
Find out Paige, the woman he loves and dumped without explanation, is also a tour guide chaperone: CHECK YEAH!!! Double/triple/quadruple CHECK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

This book had it all...the setting, the teenagers, the perfect couple(oh wait they're not a couple anymore), the angst caused by the perfect couple being forced to work together after a very awful breakup, suspense, underlying mystery, fun random historical facts, secret agent man(ok anybody remember/know that song by Johnny Rivers? as I started to type secret agent that tune popped into my head and I couldn't help putting secret agent man-now I've got you all singing it in your head right?) ;-) , and lots of chemistry in the moonlight.

If you were an undercover agent and found the perfect woman for you, yet couldn't tell her what you do...would you cut all ties, pursue her until it worked? Nick must find the right answer to that question, especially since he'll be around this woman for three months day in and day out. All while trying to solve what went wrong on his last mission and led to his friend's death. Could he have prevented it? Saved him? Now he's on a greater mission to save his heart or give it away, all while keeping track of 20 teenagers across Europe.

Paige still loves Nick, yet his leaving crushed her. Finally stepping out of her comfort zone, she accepts a summer job that will help her with her research. It couldn't be more perfect...until the perfect man shows up and ruins it all. Pulled into his secret world and trying to understand what he's hiding/lying about, Paige has to decide if it's worth the trouble to have her heart broken again when Nick won't tell her the truth.

Fun, fun, fun! There's some great suspense and build up at the end that added a great twist and depth to this book. Still lots of swoony moments and teenage drama but a little extra angst to keep you turning the pages.

Content: Some sweet and swoony kissing, a couple gun fight scenes, talk of blood from gunshot wounds and a death. Nothing overly graphic. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a fun, swoony, clean read with a little suspense thrown in.

I received a copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Imagine spending a summer in Europe, chaperoning teenagers, and discovering that one of the last minute chaperones is none other than the man who crushed your heart just a few months earlier. First part of that sentence? Romantic. Second part? Not so much. But Paige and Nick seem to have a magnetic force around them and just can't stay apart, even with the secrets that Nick's holding. He's the type of guy to fall for. There's some swoony, lip-locking chemistry in this book.

I love that there's a nice suspense angle to this sweet romance. It gives the story some meat and intrigue, which makes it all the more engaging. There are hints and implications woven throughout the story that build to a great, swift climax that took me by surprise. I had guessed a few things, but wow--I honestly couldn't see other things coming.

I loved reading about new locations in Europe through these pages and really enjoyed the relationships that were built. Great characters and a good plot are essential to a successful book and this one definitely has both. I would have loved to see a few hings fleshed out a bit more, but overall, a very entertaining and enjoyable read.

Content: mild romance; mild violence.

*I won a copy in a giveaway, which did not affect my opinion. All thoughts are my own.*

Paige, a history major grad student, figures spending the summer chaperoning a bunch of teenagers on a tour of Europe is a great way to get over being dumped by her boyfriend, with a 3 line email. She hasn't seen or heard from Nick in several months, so she's shocked and taken off guard to find out he's also a chaperone on the same European trip.
Nick is also surprised to see Paige as a chaperone on the tour. He still cares for Paige and only dumped her because he's an undercover agent and had to leave on a dangerous mission in Europe. His colleague and best friend died on that mission, and Nick thinks there's a rat at the agency. He's on suspension and only took the job as a tour chaperone so he can do his own investigating (on the side) to find out what went wrong on his last mission.
Spending so much time together Paige and Nick start to reconnect and Paige finds out why Nick unceremoniously dumped her. She realizes she loves Nick but wonders if she can handle having a boyfriend who's an undercover agent and always in danger. Then a couple of the teenagers go missing and Paige and Nick have to find them.
I liked the story a lot--the mix of romance and suspense drew me in. This story is a clean romance with just kissing. Thanks for letting me review this book.

I've been reading all the books in this series and up today is one by one of my favorite authors, Lindzee Armstrong. Each book in this series is written by a different author and is a stand alone novel. The only connection the books have is that they are all set in Europe- and they are clean romances. Lindzee changes things up a bit in hers by adding an element of suspense that I loved.

Paige and Nick have a history. Their previous relationship ended suddenly and in a bad way thanks to Nick. Paige was left heartbroken and full of questions. When Nick turns up unexpectedly on a summer job with Paige, she is dumbfounded. And angry. Nick wants to reconnect- he wants a second chance and he's working hard to get it. Sparks fly!

I love second chance at love stories. I loved how sparky this book was and how the element of suspense kept me on my toes and wondering. Paige and Nick were both great and I was rooting for them from the very beginning. This was such a fun story and a great addition to this series.

Look for my review of the last book in this series, Never Trust the Rain on Friday!

Content: Some mild violence, kissing

Would You Really Want to Date James Bond?

I love the Jason Borne movies, and I would like James Bond if he was less sleazy, but what would it be like to date a spy? Lindzee Armstrong answers that question in Kiss Me in the Moonlight. The answer is that it is confusing and dangerous! Paige and Nick dated for four months. And then came a short email breaking up with her. Paige doesn't understand until she runs into Nick again while chaperoning teens on a history tour in Europe. He finally admits that he is a government spy. Can she live with that? Will they both live long enough to even make that decision?

I loved the spy elements to this story. Lindzee Armstrong really brought them to life. I felt like I was watching a movie. I felt like Paige's reactions were realistic. She didn't just shrug off the spy thing, or the danger. She panicked a bit, and worked through it!

The scenery was rich, the plot had a nice balance of romance and intrigue. I liked Paige and Nick. I loved his determination to win her back, and the sweet moments along the way.

Another spy book I would recommend is Pimpernel by Sheralyn Pratt.

Content: clean (some kissing, mild violence)

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review.

Paige isn't thrilled to see her ex-boyfriend as a fellow chaperone on a European tour for teenagers. Second chances are the last thing on her mind, especially because he broke up with her in an e-mail and left town without even saying good-bye.

Nick's life is complicated as an undercover spy; making a clean break with Paige was the only way he could ever leave her behind. But now that he has an unexpected second chance, he sees how wrong he was to ever walk away and he's determined to win her back.

But winning her back means being honest, and eventually revealing parts of his undercover life. Unfortunately, that puts both of them in danger...

This book is a little different than the other Destined for Love romance books. It not only had a good romance and some descriptive visits to places in Europe. It had mystery and adventure. The twist at the end caught me by surprise. I like it when I can't predict the ending . I liked the dynamics of the two main characters-Nick and Paige. Nick is a savvy government spy and Paige is a history fan who is a lot of times in her own little world. The characters seemed very human and relatable. Overall a great book.

I read this back in July. I give this 3.5/5 moons.

I would love to be Paige. Chaperoning teenagers through Europe is not a bad way to spend summer at all. That is, of course, not putting Nick into the equation. Nick is Paige's ex who broke her heart. Even worse, he broke up with her through email. What a jerk, right? He didn't even have the guts to say it to her face.

For an observer, sometimes it's fun watching two people who used to be close act awkwardly in front of each other. That was how it was reading Paige and Nick's story. It was awkward and in a way painful also. But you would also wish they would sort everything out and kiss and make up. Like two lead stars in a movie that you hope would actually be in love in real life.

I think cities in Europe are so romantic. If I were in Europe, I think it would be so easy to fall in love. If not for a person, to fall for the city, for the food, the culture and for the majestic buildings and scenes. With all the gorgeous, historic and classic architecture that surrounds you, it's a perfect backdrop for a romantic meet up. So, Paige was a little powerless to fight her feelings for Nick. Surrounded with beauty and grandeur, it just can't be help to soften up.

I give this 3.5/5 moons. This is a cute and sweet story with a little mission impossible on the side. I think Europe and espionage make a good combination. A perfect setting for a James Bond-like scene complete with a maiden in distress in the picture.

Love. Was it possible for a heart to explode with happiness while shriveling with despair.

I did not expect this book to be as good as it was. When I saw the cover I thought it was gonna be some boring romance with a mediocre attempt at a spy plot line. I could not have been more wrong!! And I am so happy I was.

First off, THE SUSPENSE…From the get-go, the suspense was ever present. It was integral to the story and made for some interesting and exciting scenes, giving the story more depth and life. While I had my suspicions about the villain the plot gave way to doubt many times. And when it was finally revealed I got a lot more than I bargained for…it was exhilarating and kept me on my toes😆

Second, THE ROMANCE…The author in no way scrimped on the romance between Nick & Paige. Because they had a history together, the progression of their relationship was believable and well paced. I liked that Paige didn’t easily forgive Nick and I loved that he was determined to put in the work to win her back. Though this book was short, we learn enough about the MCs that the characters felt real and weren’t just some one dimensional names on a page.

Finally, THE SETTING…Again, although this was a quick read, I really enjoyed the European setting. It was consistent and we even get ‘visit’ some tourist sites and learn some of its rich history.

This is my first time reading from this author and it won’t be my last. Really enjoyed this story and loved how everything was wrapped up.

I really enjoyed this story very much. I listened to the audio version of this book and the narration was wonderful, too.

Nick was a government spy but he couldn't tell Paige. He loved her but he had abandoned her months before by ending their relationship in an email and disappeared without a trace. Now, she is in Europe as a chaperone on a tour for teenagers to try to reset before finishing up her doctorate. Then she realizes that she recognizes one of the male chaperones . . . Nick. It can't be! She couldn't be that unlucky!!!

Nick had no idea that Paige would be on this tour. As a future history professor, he knew she had always wanted to tour Europe but had no idea that they would be here at the same time now. He has tried for months getting over her but to no avail. He still loves her. But, he is here for another purpose entirely. He needs to find out who the leak is in the agency and got his partner and other agents killed. Can he do this with Paige on his mind all the time? Can he keep her safe when he can't be completely on his game?

This story has suspense, murder, intrigue, smuggling and lots of sweet romance and second chances. It is also clean and wholesome and a nice read.

Wow, I really loved this one! I loved Paige. I had to wonder just how her luck could be so colossally bad to have her ex-boyfriend show up at her new European job. But I had to admit that it made for such a fun and cute story. I didn't want to put it down.

I liked Nick too. I understood where he was coming from just walking out of Paige's life the way he did. It was fun for the reader to know that he was an undercover agent, even as Paige still had no idea. She had no idea that the whole reason he walked out of her life was to protect her. And she had no idea just how much he was going to have to go through in this scenario to protect her.

I liked the pace of the plot. There's plenty of time for love and romance, but also a sense of urgency and some craziness in the plot. It really is so much fun! And it was such a fabulous afternoon escape! After reading these books, it's become very clear that I need a trip to Europe ASAP!

I enjoyed this book a lot, but I was a little bit disappointed that the characters were not as thoughtfully developed as the plot. Although I guessed the "reveal" about half way through the novel, it was a fun read and typical of Ms. Armstrong's easy-reading style (very well written, too). My hope is that the characters will be further fleshed out in future books, as I feel we have a lot to learn about them still.

Paige finally gets to see Europe and she finds herself having to work along side her ex boyfriend who left and broke off their relationship with an email. The story takes a different turn and it felt a little rushed at the end, but it still held my interest to the very end. Definitely a book worth reading!

I think there was a period of time where I would have really liked this book, but maybe I got burnt out from the genre because I just didn't love it. I've been on a regency and contemporary romance kick for a while now (and it definitely occurred to me as I was reading this that maybe one day I'd be "off" that kick as well). This is a spy, mystery/suspense romance and I felt like the romance was a little weaker than what I've been reading (I just didn't feel it) and I just didn't quite connect with the mystery. I'm writing this review for my own personal reference. It wasn't a bad book and I don't want to discourage others from reading it- it just doesn't fit with my current book mood.

I felt the same way as I've felt with most of this author's books: it felt like more of a novella than a true novel. It was short and sweet, but I was sad we missed out on Nick and Paige's past relationship.

Kiss Me in the Moonlight is the perfect escape for someone wanting to take a break from work/college or just wanting to relax for a few hours. Although I’m not a big fan of "second chance at love" stories, author Lindzee Armstrong has a knack for writing stories that are very realistic with believable characters and snappy dialogue. This book did not disappoint, especially with the addition of a little suspense.

The suspense angle arises when we learn that our hero Nick is an undercover government agent who broke off his sizzling romance with our heroine Paige in an email several months ago. He did so when he suddenly received orders to leave on a dangerous mission in Europe and didn’t have time to explain all the details. Soon after arriving in Europe his best friend and partner dies. Nick is determined that they were “set up” by someone within the agency and he’s determined to find out who.

Paige is a PhD student at Georgetown. To help her cope with Nick’s harsh breakup, she decides to chaperone a high school group of teenagers on a tour of Europe. Things go south for Paige when Nick shows up to chaperone the same European trip as his “cover” for his independent investigation. Not surprisingly, Nick still has feelings for Paige and he wants to pick up where they left off. However, Paige has a few very legitimate “trust” concerns about Nick and his sincerity. The rest of the story is basically hunting down the killer of Nick’s partner and Paige figuring out whether she can live with being the girlfriend of someone who travels a lot for work.

I listened to the Audible version of Kiss Me in the Moonlight narrated by Stacey Glemboski. She did an outstanding job with natural smooth overtones and subtle character nuances. I was totally immersed when listening to her narration and felt like I was watching a chick flick instead of listening to a book. Brava!

If you are looking for a sweet, summer romance story with some extra plot twists, this book is for you! Ms. Armstrong does a great job of giving you characters with a short-but-good backstory in Kiss Me in the Moonlight.

The characters are from the United States, but on a sight-seeing trip set in Europe. Paige is one of four hired chaperones/tour guides for this group of teenagers. Unbeknownst to Paige, her former boyfriend, Nick, that left her with no more than a three sentence email, is going to be the last of the four chaperones helping this summer.

This book is written from both Paige and Nick's perspectives, but they transition at the start of a new chapter and kept everything flowing seamlessly, plot included. I loved Nick's calming nature towards Paige and wanting to win her back. Paige was everything I'd expect her to be in her shoes, with their history as a couple. It's a couple you just want to be together and overcome their obstacles! I thought it was fun getting to hear about several landmarks in Europe, since I don't know much about them and have never been there myself. I had my suspicions during the novel of what was taking place behind-the-scenes with Nick's mission, but was actually surprised by the twist near the end.

This novel is a fun, easy, sweet summer read. I've really enjoyed all of Ms. Armstrong's books, so if you aren't sure about this one, try another of hers!

Kiss Me in the Moonlight started very strong as the first book in this series. Great spy element and a second chance love story. Paige has been dumped by her great wonderful boyfriend via text. No girl wants a text message stating the relationship is over. For two months, Paige tried to figure what did she do wrong

A trip to Europe and a chance to visit all the great places for her dissertation would be a great cure to get over her great wonderful boyfriend who turned into a jerk. Problem, her ex is also one of the counselor for this European trip.

Nick, an uncover agent, kept as much of his personal life from Paige while he was dating her. He realized too late that Paige is the One when his last mission went bad. His partner and best friend is dead. Half of his team barely made it out of the ambush. He wanted answers of who in the agency, has betrayed them.

I love that Nick and Paige's best memories happen under the moonlight. I love the way the story allows the readers/listeners follow Nick's suspicion that something is not right but can't figure out why. while Paige is working out her emotional baggage that Nick delivered her of him being a spy. It has a twist in the story. If the readers/listeners do pay attention, they can figure it out who is the traitor.

This is a great, clean, suspense romantic story. I recommend this book to everyone.

The narrator, Stacey Glemboski did a great job with the voices and the accent of each of the characters that anyone listening would distinguish which characters is talking. This narrator does not disappointed.

I was given this audiobook by the author. I have volunteered to write this unbiased review for the book. I was not compensated or influenced in any way for writing this review.

We'll Always Have Paris

What better premise can there be for a romance than a trip to Europe? In this series of six novellas, each by a different author, we get a variety of tastes of travel--and love. Ah, but let's up the stakes and throw a secret agent into the mix!

Paige loves history and is finally getting a chance to explore Europe for the first time--as a tour guide to a bunch of teens. With her ex-boyfriend the spy. But wait! She doesn't even know what he does for a living. Including a fabulous virtual tour of Europe with the angst of love gone south, tidbits of history mixed with modern mayhem, this fast-moving tale provide chills and thrills--and the Eiffel Tower!

UPDATE: So what can be done to make this better? Why, put the book on AUDIO! Narrator Stacey Glemboski does a superlative job voicing the various characters and setting the right tone whether for love scenes (CLEAN) or chases (moderate violence), keeping you in the moment as the tale unfolds. I enjoyed the story even more the second time around.

This is my second book form this series and I really enjoyed this one by Lindzee Armstrong.
Paige is a history PhD candidate who is told by her professor that she should take a job in Europe chaperoning kids. While Paige isn't sure this is right for her she does get to see all the places she ha studies and loved for years.
As Paige's trepidation about increases she learns that one of the other chaperone's is none other than her ex-Nick who left her via an email. Can Paige continue on the trip while she still has feelings for Nick?
This characters in this story are well written. The reader will feel Paige's trepidation on putting herself out there for this trip and also on dealing with her feelings for Nick. You'll watch Nick try to come to grips with the death of his partner, his feelings for Paige and his need to know what really happened on his last mission.
When two of the teens take off at the end of the trip Nick finally gets his answers.
This story is about reconnecting and giving someone a second chance. It also has some mystery mixed in.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

This story was an enjoyable read, though not what I expected. I expected a travel romance and yes, there is romance between the two main characters, Paige and Nick, who have come back together to chaperone some teen tourists after his secrets led him to abruptly break off their relationship four months previous. But the suspenseful part of the tale is much more front and center as the hero watches for danger to overtake the travel group while trying to find the culprit who set up an ambush that killed his best friend and almost got him as well. His doubts about a couple of teens on the tour and his investigation of his friend's death hold some serious twists and surprises and, through it all, Nick tries to win Paige's trust without drawing her in to danger. If you are expecting a travelogue, you won't find much of one here, even though the group heads from Belgium, through France and Germany over a 19-day tour.

I received an Advance Copy of this book from the author at no cost. This is my honest review.

I enjoyed Lindzee Armstrong's book, Kiss Me in the Moonlight. It is a romantic suspense story that takes place in Europe. Paige Eldredge is a chaperone for a group of teenagers on a Destiny Tours trip. She is shocked to find out that her ex is one of the other chaperones! What Paige doesn't know is that the reason Nick broke up with her was because he is an undercover agent. His last mission resulted in him having to leave quickly and it ended in the deaths of fellow agents. But he isn't done trying to figure out what went wrong. As Paige gets to know the group of teenagers, something seems to be wrong with Ryan and Evie, a couple who tend to argue a lot. Paige and Nick eventually start to reconnect as they spend more time together. There are a few twists and turns for them to deal with before the trip comes to an end. This book is 218 pages long and can easily be read in one sitting. It is a clean read and includes facts of some well known European land marks and people.

Kiss Me in the Moonlight is a bit different to other books I have read by Ms Armstrong, in that there is a suspenseful element to it. Paige finds herself chaperoning a group of teenagers through Europe after a disastrous breakup with her boyfriend, only to discover that he is one of her colleagues on the trip. If that isn't bad enough, there would appear to be some unexplained anomalies regarding her ex-boyfriend that need explaining. Before Paige realises it, she is a pawn in an evil game and Nick has to do some fast thinking to save her life. After reading a number of Ms Armstrong's book, I was a little disappointed in Kiss Me in the Moonlight as it didn't have the same depth and substance that are in her other books. Although the relationship between Paige and Nick has some dynamic to it, I would have liked to see more willingness on both their parts to connect. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

This review Is for my own personal reason in case I forget about this book in the future.

This was a 3.5 *** light read, I usually avoid mystery, mafia, suspense, cop/robbers, crime books, so I thought the book was strict romance. But it turned out to be a nice 4hrs of listening the story. I won’t read/listen to it again but I would recommend it for those who are into spies.

What I like of the audiobook:
Very well written, Dual POV, character are well developed that I feel and care about what happened to them. H and h were very strong and likable. Narrator had a good translation of emotions throughout the reading.
A short sweet romance story worn enough suspense.
Nice HEA and liked the epilogue.

What I disliked :

Plot was predictable, I pretty much knew who were the bad guys after the first hour into the book.
There was no sex. It was like a hallmark and mysteries story. Which I love hallmark movies but avoid the mysteries series. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Exploring The Destined for Love: Europe series has been no hardship. Beautiful scenery, heated emotion and new beginnings or second chances are at the heart of every tale. Lindzee Armstrong keeps the spirit alive with her journey to starting over. Kiss Me in the Moonlight is my favorite book of the series. Nick and Paige's story is a journey of missed opportunities, bad choices and heartbreak. Nick's a bit of a loose cannon. He acts before thinking things thru. Paige is a planner. Her world centers around deeply thought out choices and reminder lists. When life throws them both a curve ball that reunites the exes, will they be able to mend the rift and begin again? Ms. Armstrong has composed a melody of loss, hope and healing that comes through in every realistic scenario and every spoken word.

This book is more of a romantic intrigue story than previous books in the Destined for Romance Europe series. Paige is a history enthusiast who takes a job chaperoning teenagers around Europe, not knowing that her ex has also part of the chaperoning team. Unbeknown to her Nick is an undercover agent who is just helping out a friend.
This book is different to earlier books I have read by this author, but the mystery element makes for a pleasant change. As with the earlier books in this series it might have been nicer to have certain elements of the story expanded on, but these are short books with obvious restraints on how much plot to include. Forgiveness is given quicker than it would be normally be by someone dumped by email! However, this is still a sweet romance with beautiful descriptions of the sights of France.
