Damien Blaze is the HOTTEST ticket in rock and roll…so long as keeps his hands off the fans. When the record label decides he needs to work on his image—starting with the fiancée they “chose” for him—settling down and growing up might be the last thing on his mind. Nancy Harper has a stake in all this, too. She’s a veteran celebrity tabloid reporter and has watched her male colleagues move on to corner offices and expense accounts while she’s still stuck digging through A-listers’ trash cans for a scoop. The story of a lifetime lands in her lap, and all she has to do to get the promotion is pretend to fall in love with the bad boy rock star. What does she do when neither of them can pretend anymore…but only one of them knows it was all a lie?

Emotional Highs and Lows in this crazy story of two people that should by all rights hate each other on shear principle each for there own deeply heartfelt reasons is thoughtful as well as engaging.

On the surface of things they seam like complete opposites that should not be attracted for many reasons both personal and professional. However as you get to know this amazing couple you realize that they are really just two very similar people that are destined to heal and complete the other. That once in a lifetime chance you just stumble into so unexpectedly it takes you awhile to realize what just happened. Love it!

A deeply emotional revelation - well-told!
Paparazzi are the bane of a celebrity's existence. Damien Blaze of ResurrXtion is no exception. He's about to start a solo career and his manager wants him to 'clean up' his image. No more groupies. A plan is in place. A fake fiancée, a reality show - voilà! Enter Nancy Harper, paparazzi reporter with 'daddy issues' and a plan to get a scoop on Damien.
Wow! These two each have built walls sky high to keep from being hurt. Bit by bit, barriers begin to break down. Nancy is brilliant at reading what people want to see and using that to her advantage. She soon finds she cannot use Damien as she planned. Watching the two of them in action is thrilling and I have high hopes for their future. Nonetheless, everything goes haywire.
Exposés, remorse, confessions, and the resolution? You must read! I love learning about what motivates their behaviors

Gifted a copy and writing a review voluntarily:

I don't know what I was expecting when I started reading this book but definitely was impressed with the little twists. Morgan Rae has managed to bring emotional connection to a paparazzo and a musician. As a reader you will feel the betrayal, the lies but also the chemistry.
