Book 4: Deadly Deception

Life on board Siren of the Seas has been smooth sailing for Millie Sanders, but that soon changes when diva, Ariana Teliar boards as the ship's new entertainer and "star attraction."

Unfortunately, Millie has been given the task of showing Ariana the ropes. When Ariana discovers a dead body on her balcony, Millie’s “task” changes to protecting the diva’s life 24 hours a day! The only problem is, Ariana has a penchant for disappearing and Millie is forced to chase her down.

When Ariana leads Millie and her friends on a wild goose chase thru Mayan ruins deep into the rainforest, and they end up getting lost, it's the last straw for Millie. Just as Millie is ready to set the young performer straight, she discovers a deadly deception that puts Millie's own life in danger.

Can Millie sort through the clues that point to the killer(s) and solve the mystery before it’s too late?

Book 5: Vanishing Vacationers

With a fresh wave of passengers soon to board the Siren of the Seas, Assistant Cruise Director Millie Sanders is shocked when she discovers she has a new roommate and fit to be tied when she learns the new roommate is none other than Danielle Kneldon, her former charge and nemesis!

Danielle’s first assignment is to ensure the ship's special "VIP's," a family who has won a cruise contest, have a wonderful, fun-filled vacation.

Millie discovers her coworker has other plans, which includes searching the small island of Kiriban for a missing family and collecting a hefty reward.

When Danielle, along with two of the VIP guests, vanish on the mysterious island, Millie is forced to face her fears and join the search. She enlists the help of her friends and soon they find themselves in a deadly adventure of a lifetime.

Will Millie and the gang track down Danielle and the missing passengers before the ship leaves port or will they become the next victims of the island's curse?

Book 6: Cruise Control

The long anticipated, epic cruise adventure is finally here! Two worlds collide when Gloria and the Garden Girls meet up with Gloria's cousin, Assistant Cruise Director, Millie Sanders and her crew aboard the passenger cruise ship, "Siren of the Seas."

Almost immediately, suspicions are raised when a group of mysterious passengers board and then head straight to the bridge for a private meeting with the captain. Not long after, Andy Walker, Millie's boss, tells her the ship will have some "temporary" staff boarding for this cruise, something that has never happened before.

Later, after the ship sets sail, Millie stops by to greet the captain and Scout, and sparks fly when the captain invites Millie to dine with him in his apartment the following evening. When Millie arrives for her dinner date the next night, she discovers the bridge is locked and no one will answer the door.

Once again I took to the high seas with Millie and she made it a trip to remember. I enjoy seeing her interactions with the Captain, the staff, and the witnesses and suspects in her mysteries. She is quick witted and has a quick wit. Both of those draw me in when I am reading.

The books in this set are standalone of course, but they are truly better when read together. Hope Callaghan brings Millie to live with her fun personality and her ability to see what others miss.

A fun read that reminds me every time of my first cruise and makes me long for a second. The mysteries make you look at everyone as a suspect and only the clear thinking Millie Sanders can figure out who dunit.

I enjoyed every trip with Millie, Annette, Andy and Cat in this trilogy. The mysteries were fun and light for the most part but there were some darker moments in both Vanishing Vactioners and Cruise Control. I jump right in with each book eager to see what adventures Millie have next.

Triple reading in Hope Callaghan's Cruise Series.
Deadly Deception
Millie starts a new adventure and it's non-stop from beginning to end.
I am never disappointed in these stories, lots of suspense, a little romance and lots of camaraderies
between the main characters.
We, of course, see Scout, the miniature Yorkie that makes his rounds around the ship.
We see God watching over his flock.

Vanishing Vacationers
Again we meet Millie in another exciting adventure aboard the cruise ship.
As usual, there was non-stop adventure.
I love all the crew and the setting.

Cruise Control
Wow!!!! Gloria and the Garden Girls are on a cruise ship where Gloria's cousin Millie works.
There is double trouble as that set out to solve another mystery.
The characters and storyline were very entertaining, with lots of drama and suspense.

Fantastic

I have read books 1-6 and love them. I have been staying up late to read "just five more minutes".
I ignore "Christian novels as the ones I have read have been very 'preachy'. I was curious about the first three books and the description didn't mention Christian, but guaranteed clean reading. I did hesitate on getting books 4-6 because they were listed as Christian, but I wanted to find out more about Millie. I'm glad I took the chance, this time.
This is a very good series and I am onto book 7.

Intriguing

I honestly like the romance, the mysteries are pretty good, some of them and weirdly. However, they do have a lot of fun characters, intrigue, and action. Overall I give it three stars because I wish they were a little bit more detailed. And some of the characters were more rounded thenthey appear.
I would recommend this book, for anybody who likes short cozy mysteries. It’s sweet, well-crafted, interesting. And has some really good recipes.

I have basically read this entire series (17 books so far, I think)...they are fun and fluffy and clean. I love the Christian aspect, I love the CRUISING aspect, and the characters are pretty likable...
(though admittedly, I sometimes roll my eyes at Millie getting involved once more in something or someplace she has no business being---but since that is the premise of the entire series...there you have it!) Enjoyable "summer" read, all year round.

Wonderful series

All three books in this boxed set are real page turners. Well written with enough plot and twist turns. Very hard to put down. Love the characters and the relationships between them. The older heroines are fun for everyone but especially for readers of a certain age.

Cruise to the Islands

This unassuming assistant cruise director packs a lot of excitement into her life and her books too! This threesome package finds Hope and her friends lost in the jungle, saving staff and vacationers from certain death, foiling a terrorist plot and generally providing hours of wholesome reading. I've never been on a cruise but book me on this one.

Always fun!

I received this book free from one of the book sites. I do not remember which one! This is my honest review.
Millie & the crew of The Siren of the Seas experience murder, highjacking, & romance! Join the indescribable Millie as she charts the sea of mystery.
Christian, no foul language, and no sex! Great books!

Low 3

The basic mysteries are good and there is jo annoyance at the religion since it is subtle--merely religious characters. However they have small issues that I find annoying, such as a ship leaving when it was clearly stated it would wait for the doctor and had to legally, and bad guy POV in the last book.

A lot of mischief

What could go wrong will go wrong when it comes to voyages on the Siren of the Sea. The ladies are at it again, helping to solve murders, disappearances and hijackings. Cat's ex-husband shows up and all hell breaks loose. Annette has some serious secrets that Millie is adamant about finding out.

Some Fun & Quirky Twists

I am enjoying this series. However there are numerous grammatical errors sprinkled through these three books. One that I can remember was the use of "there are," instead of "they're."

Millie's cousins & their friends were not very well-developed characters. They were also quite silly and not very likeable with some of their behaviors.

Delightful box set with cruising, love and Millie. Her tasks are many, showing the diva around, ends up protecting her, after a murder. Or getting a new roommate, of which was a big no to her. Enjoy the time with Millie it will not be boring, a delightful read as all her books are.

these are fun reads, but, of this particular set, i found that the second story was very unbelievable. there is no way the main character would just let another person just do whatever they chose and not speak up. i couldn't believe it.

Love these ladies!

The more you read the more clues come out. Secrets are slowly revealed. Not just about one book, pieces are coming together. I can't wait to see what happens next. The cross over with Gloria and the girls was awesome! Must read!!!!.
