This book is written blatantly biased, though it's supposedly an objective overview of both sides. It almost feels like you're reading an apology for vivisection and that the author is pleading for the case. There are some graphic photos thrown in, to make it look like it's not coming from a pro animal experiment source. The author openly calls ALF extremist and cites others who call them terrorists. It feels like a nasty propaganda pamphlet, written to lure in anti animal cruelty folks, into the pro cruelty camp.
This book was quite disturbing but I have a totally different prospective on scientist and animals used in labs. In the book it talks about how scientist use animals to test other cures or antidotes, but they don't realize that your still harming a living creature. The author did a fantastic job on this book and was very well organized with the facts and photos. I recommend this book for someone who will take a stand for the animals in labs!
