Ashley Miller is a feisty young fashion magazine writer in NYC. Apollo Kane is a wealthy business man known as the Wolf of New York City. He buys companies & either turns them around or shuts them down. Ashley is running late to work & decides to splurge for a cab ride in order to make it on time. She see a rather attractive man hailing a cab & while he is turned around she steals it from him & can't help but taunt him as the cab driver pulls away. Ashley arrives at work just in time to finds things are not normal, everyone is milling around waiting for an announcement to happen. What she doesn't expect is the gorgeous man she stole the cab from walking up to the podium to address her & her fellow employees. Apollo Kane needs no introduction but he gets one anyway & then explains to the magazine workers that he's happy to now be running their operation. Because Ashley knows the score she makes several attempts to apologize to Apollo during the day for her behavior regarding the cab but it doesn't go as she plans. Before long the two of them find themselves in a sexual tangle mess in the back of Apollo's limo. Neither of them intends to get attached yet they can't stop themselves. Until one day Ashley sees some paperwork in Apollo's office that contradicts what he has said to her & she believes he has been lying to her. Will Apollo get the chance to explain what the paperwork was about? Will Ashley give Apollo a chance to tell his side? Will Ashley & Apollo's relationship be able to endure?

This was a good mix of funny and sexy. Girl steals cab from a hot guy who is her new boss? He is used to girls who follow direction but she is a sassy little firecracker! And when they get together, you know, in the intimate ways, it's like fireworks. BOOM! Hot. It's hard to make a work/dating relationship work, especially when she doesn't really know what he plans to do. HEA though. And some funnies too. I liked it, and I can't wait to see what Mona Cox writes next!

Mona Cox knows how to give you one HOT READ. not only that but she backs it with a story, although fast, it keeps you reading page after page. Or that could be the anticipation of the "monster" cock your guaranteed to have in a Mona Cox book.
Ashley is running late for work, and when she wakes up with a man in her bed that just pisses her off. No one stays over, so now shes rushing to get ready and this guy just wont leave. Finally shes heading out the door and its be really late for work or fork out the money to pay for an overpriced cab fare. Well why not steal another mans cab? But the guy she steals t from is drop dead gorgeous and being in a 6 month dry spell she can appreciate his appearance all the more.

I was so excited when I found out that Alicia’s best friend, Ashley (who appeared in Alicia Vs. Billionaire) was getting her own story. I thought she was a great character in the first story by Mona and I couldn’t wait to find out what happens with her and her love.
I loved how sassy Ashley was right from the beginning and that spark she had in her. I loved the interactions Ashley and Apollo had, it was full of sexy, hot encounters, a little humour and a bunch of emotions all rolled into one. I thought Apollo was also a great character that was easy to love.
I loved getting both POVs from these characters, it was great to be inside both their heads. Although I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t put it down there were some parts that I felt were rushed a little towards the end of the book, but it was still complete with a HEA

What a funny, sexy story!! After reading Alicia vs billionaire I couldn't wait for Ashley's story, and it didn't disappoint at all.
After Ashley steals a guys cab she finds out that the hot guys can she took is none other than her new boss Apollo.
Apollo and Ashley were hilarious, I truly found myself laughing out loud over the conversation he heard while listening to her. There banter was priceless. Apollo has strict rules about messing around with his employees but doesn't care when it comes to Ashley.
This story had it all funny, hot & likeable characters. Can't wait to read more from Mona Cox/Alexis Angel

Ashley had no idea what was going to happen when she stole a cab from the hot guy. Turns out he's Apollo Kane, the one who bought the magazine company she works for.. Now he's her boss, and he's trying to figure out just how he'll make her pay for stealing his cab. Wild and funny, but smokin' hot sexy as well. I love a good office romance, and this was a good one! I'd highly recommend this book, and if you haven't read Mona Cox or Alexis Angel's work, get this and her first book, Alicia Vs. the Billionaire! I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

LOVED IT! This is such a fun and great series. A quick and dirty read. It is funny and sexy. I didn't want to put it down. I can't wait for the next one. I would like a little more previous character mentions - just to see what they are up to - they are all connected after all. Overall a great read that shouldn't' be missed. Ashley and Apollo are so great together - the interaction and chemisty is fantastic. Well done Mona - keep them coming!

I am voluntarily leaving an honest review of this book based on an advanced readers copy of Ashley Vs. Boss by Mona Cox. Mona has taken me away again to another world with this book. I was captivated by this story, it was as if I was walking right along side Ashley throughout the whole book. Ashley and Apollo's story will take you on one wild ride where you never want to get off. Take a Bow Mona because you hit it out of the park with this book.

While I finished it. I did not care for this book, I like how u heard a slight back story then Boom ! They meet but after that it jus takes off and I don’t feel as though their relationship grew over time (not that I read) it’s was fast paced and then it was ending. I jus need more ups and down and more quality time being spent and not jus at the office. So unfortunately I can only give 2 starts.. .

I love a good, steamy office romance and Ashley Vs. Boss fulfills every desire. Apollo is the alpha male. He's hot, rich, and cocky. Ashley just happens to be his new employee who may not have made the best first impression. Or did she? The heat and passion between Ashley and Apollo just jumps off of the page at you. It's funny, steamy, and ends with a sweet HEA. It's a quick read that will leave you satisfied! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Somewhat boring

I have to say that this was one hot funny book. I really enjoyed the first book and just knew that I had to read the second one. I will say that I liked the first one better than this one. The only thing is in this one the sex scenes seemed hotter than the first one. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

I have to say that is was well worth it. I thought we might get more of Alicia in this book then we did. In the first book Ashley was in it a lot. I guess that's what was disappointing to me.
I was determined not to like Apollo but he is a better man than I gave him credit for. I just don't see how he can have sex with that many women at one time. I would like to enjoy a guy like that myself. I would just like him by myself. I don't want to have to share him.

I really liked Ashley, she is hilarious! I liked her and Apollo as a couple; the chemistry between them was undeniable. Numerous times I was in stitches of laughter at Ashley. I liked that Ashley spoke her mind and knew what she wanted. I wish there was a little more of Apollo. The majority of the few point of views of his just went on about having to avoid Ashley. I wanted more of him and less of him trying to hide his feelings.
This book is the first book of Mona’s that I have read, I cannot wait to read Alicia’s story – I am just about to one click!

This is the 2nd book in this series by Mona Cox and let me say, this is one HOT READ!
This book is about Ashley; She is running late for work one morning and she sees this super hot guy waving down a taxi so she sort of steals his taxi just as he is getting in and waves to him as the taxi is driving off. She has to get to work for there is a super huge announcement to be made and she has to be there…
Guess what? Her company was sold and the guy whose taxi she stole is now the new owner of her company. AWKWARD! His name is Apollo, better known as wolf of New York. He is super hot, very dominant and determined to get Ashley. Ashley is someone who makes you work for things (i.e. her). She is worried she is about to lose her job , especially after what happened with the taxi. Oh Apollo is gonna show her who is boss –and he will punish her but good for what she did. Thing is, will everything work out perfectly for all involved or will it end in broken hearts?
I loved the novella style story , the heat and the passion, and especially the tight plot of this story. If you like dominant men, sassy and independent women and a great story, then do not miss this by Mona Cox!

This book is about Ashley; She is running late for work one morning and she sees this super hot guy waving down a taxi so she sort of steals his taxi just as he is getting in and waves to him as the taxi is driving off. She has to get to work for there is a super huge announcement to be made and she has to be there…
Guess what? Her company was sold and the guy whose taxi she stole is now the new owner of her company. AWKWARD! His name is Apollo, better known as wolf of New York. He is super hot, very dominant and determined to get Ashley. Ashley is someone who makes you work for things (i.e. her). She is worried she is about to lose her job , especially after what happened with the taxi. Oh Apollo is gonna show her who is boss –and he will punish her but good for what she did. Thing is, will everything work out perfectly for all involved or will it end in broken hearts?
I loved the novella style story , the heat and the passion, and especially the tight plot of this story. If you like dominant men, sassy and independent women and a great story, then do not miss this by Mona Cox!

I have to say that this was one hot funny book. I really enjoyed the first book and just knew that I had to read the second one. I will say that I liked the first one better than this one. The only thing is in this one the sex scenes seemed hotter than the first one. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
Ashley is a pretty spunky woman and she made me laugh several times in this book. I liked when she stole Apollo's cab and what she did to him after she did it. Yes it ended up biting her in the butt. I have to say that is was well worth it. I thought we might get more of Alicia in this book then we did. In the first book Ashley was in it a lot. I guess that's what was disappointing to me.
I was determined not to like Apollo but he is a better man than I gave him credit for. I just don't see how he can have sex with that many women at one time. I would like to enjoy a guy like that myself. I would just like him by myself. I don't want to have to share him.
This book was pretty fast paced and I like that in a book. I want one that gets the point across and just goes with it and that is what you get with this author. You know that you will have hot steamy sex scenes that will leave you breathless.
