I was actually enjoying this read, bad ass MC bikers who have soft spots for women, protecting them without the alpha bullshit but then something I absolutely fucking detest happened.....it ended on a fucking CLIFFHANGER!!!

This book grew on me. I thought at the time that it was a typical MC romance, and a well written one. Interesting characters. It was one that I found myself thinking about the next day. That said, I found the abrupt cut-off to book one VERY annoying. I fully understand a permafree to encourage read-through, but not one book split in three. Many authors use a full book in this genre, Chelle Bliss and Jeanne StJames for example.
Liked the book and would have given a higher rating, too annoyed by the abrupt ending.

Good beginning...
But disappointing because it ended in a cliffhanger. Does Maurice get his revenge, are Carla and Joel able to have a HEA? I have to spend more money to find out! When one is on a limited budget (especially in today's economy) it really sucks. If I'd known I never would have gotten this one. This is one reason I like paper copies you can find out before you buy if its a standalone or not.

Good new series
A slow but interesting start to the series. Joel & Carla meet unexpectedly with them both doing the same thing. High jacking a shipment. Trying to break free from her slimy boss Maurice & debt, she meets Joel & his crew to help move the shipment. Of course sparks fly between these 2. Onward to the next book for continuing story.

Took a little bit to get into but after awhile I couldn't put it down. This one ended on a cliff hanger and I now must find out what happens to these two lovers. I recommend if you got a couple hours to kill and are into "sexy" love books as I call them.

I enjoyed the story line and the characters. Carla was a great little innocent girl and Joel just had to have her. I can’t wait for Ride Rough. Ride Hard was to short.

Stripped, by Brook Wilder, was a good read. The author's writing continues to grow as she writes and that is evident in this book. The characters have solid chemistry and the story flowed well.

I absolutely loved this book. I was sexy and intense all at the same time. Brook is becoming one of my favorite authors
