The opening of this book was different to say the least. I was way into the book when it all fit in. Some romance and some danger.

I’ve read this book multiple times, and today just felt like reading it again. It’s a cute little novella, with some elements of danger and suspense and a short but sweet romance.

Another author of the love notes collection like Mcclure. This one was a little less predictable. It keeps you turning pages. Nicole has only her brother left as far as family. Her father died leaving them with land, stocks, and bonds and money for college. Danny and her are working on finishing those doctorate degrees. Nicole comes home to find a stranger in her house after many robberies in the area and draws her gun. Wade who really is there to help find the attacker of his cousin in now there pretending to be the half owner of her grandfather's house because her brother borrowed money from him. Nicole disbelieving Wade has him call her brother under the aim of a rifle to confirm. The ruse of the borrowed money is to throw off Charlie, Nicole's fiance, and the former husband and attacker of Wade's cousin. Wade is also in the marine biology field and uses his knowledge to set up the skeme to caught Charlie and protect Nicole from the same fate as his cousin. In the process, Nicole becomes attracted to Wade but doesn't trust him because of her belief that he took advantage of her brother's money problems. The whole mess is laid out when Charlie breaks it off with Nicole, but then tries to kill her and her friends while they are on their bear hunt. Nicole's deceased father plays a role in saving the group when Charlie leads his brothers to the group in hopes of not leaving witnesses.

Book 4 Love Notes Collection Series. This is the first book in this series not written by Marcia Lynn McClure. Being from Oregon I really enjoyed hearing familiar of familiar towns and the beauty of the Oregon coast but I wasn't thrilled with this story. It is very unsettling to me when abuse and murder of women are discussed. It is completely different from the three previous books so I'm not sure why they are tied into the same collection.

My father in law handed my this book....who knew he had a thing for these kinds of books. It was fun only because it takes place in my neck of the woods, and I am sure that is why he (my father in law) thought I would like it. Obviously it wasn't a local who wrote it though because everytime she referred to Bandon it was "Bandon-by-the-Sea" Only on TV comercials my friend...that is not actually what we call it. There were a few things like that and it was pretty far fetched, but it killed a few hours.

This short little romance novel started off strong. I enjoyed the beginning of the book but it started to fizzle out as it went along. The potential was there for a great book but it just lacked the depth and story development needed to make it believable.
This is a clean, quick read. It kept my interest enough to finish it.

No matter how bad things are, they can always get worse. Fortunately, I like happy endings and that makes this book one of my favorites!

What would you do if you came home and found a stranger (a man!) in your shower? Find out how the heroine in this story reacted.

The writing on this was so choppy I had a hard time believing it and couldn't get "in" to it. I liked the idea of the love story but the obstacles all seemed so far fetched and contrived.
I took this book on vacation with me and only kept reading it because I had nothing else to read.

Picked this up for $1.99 from Desert Book while I was looking for a book for our book club Christmas book exchange . A short little romance that was a fast read. The story line could have used more development, but still a fun read.

Wade Reilly meets Nicole Travis holding a shotgun pointed right at him--a stranger in her house. Thus begins their love/hate relationship.

I thought that this was a fun, easy read. Not too difficult to guess the plot, but I have fun reading it.

I liked this short little love story. I did think that the character names Sharelle and Ella were confusing. I wondered for a while if Ella was Sharelle's nickname.

I could not get into this book until about 3/4 the way through. The ending was intriguing though.
