This book has a good amount of information, some may be redundant but it’s all about application. I like the tidbits and organization of the book. I can’t wait to apply, as the book says each recipe has about 15 minutes prep time. None of the recipes seems too complicated. Though I have not been formally diagnosed, in fact told I don’t have PCOS, I suffer with some of the symptoms, therefore, following an insulin resistant PCOS diets seems like it would benefit me. It’s interesting to read about other women having similar experiences as me since it is such a private condition. I will be starting on my journey soon, but so far based off what I read it is the best $1.99 I have spent in a while. P.S. There is a vegetarian/vegan section of recipes in this book that is dope since most books like this are filled with meat recipes that I have to veganize.

Alright

Good information but the recipes are a bit ridiculous. Where the hell do you get coconut flour? No one has time for that.

I purchased this book and read it before donating it to my local library. I recently checked it out again to re-read, as I am taking my diagnosis more seriously.

There’s a lot of high-level information for folks who are not familiar with PCOS. The majority of the book is recipes, so I appreciate that. Most of the recipes however, I would never make. I made note of eight recipes in my app (Paprika) That I may wants to make in the future.

The book would have been helped with more pictures of food. If you buy cookbooks you know seeing the pictures really helps you to find interest in the recipes.

All in all, this is worth checking out from your library if you have PCOS and don’t have much knowledge of the disease. Not worth purchasing with your own money.

I really liked this cookbook. A lot of the basic PCOS info was summarized and would be good for someone who was just diagnosed or didn't know much about it. There was a lot of variety and many of the recipes actually sounded good (to someone who is still trying to cut out dairy, soy, and gluten) and they weren't too complicated. I DO wish there were more photos though. I find photos to be a big motivator to actually make the food and this particular book didn't have very many photos.

Amazing!

This is exactly what I needed and what I was looking for. I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance over 10 years ago and it's time to make the change with my food habits. I have been on hormones and tried metformin with no luck. I am so excited for thus book. THANK YOU. ❤️

I didn't read or need the info about PCOS. Just wanted the healthy recipes. Tried several and love all but two that we tried.
