Second Read through rating: After rereading Warlock of the Magus World and liking it more than the first read, I thought that perhaps some novels just need a second chance. Despite this being a very popular novel it is so boring. The main character is emotionless. The worst thing is that the author tries to surprise the readers by hiding basic information from them and then throwing it all together later on. It’s really hard to maintain interest in a book with characters and plot lines that you know little to nothing about until the very end.
Apparently this novel has an awful translator, so there may eventually be a better more enjoyable version in the future. I couldn’t even bare reading up to where I dropped it last time (after the Red Zone Arc(~Ch 100)).
