I loved this book!!! Von and his trusty sidekick Robot have been studying humans for years. They don't want to mate with them, no, Von wants to eat them!!! When it's time to begin the long journey home, Von decides their is one human he must take with him. That human is Mireya. Her flesh will be delicious, a treat for those back home. Unfortunately something else wants Mireya. With some scenes so funny you can't help but laugh, and the literal interpretation Von makes of some of our everyday expressions will have you holding your sides. This is one book you should read!
Wow, what can I say about this book. Amazing characters with one of the most inventive storylines I've ever come across. Absolutely fantastic and an absolute bargain you wont want to miss. Will definitely be recommending this author to everyone I know.
This is not my normal read, but the way the story was told drew me in. I have become attached to Von, Max and Meria. Very intriguing story and can't wait for more.
I normally don't read science-fiction nor science-fiction thrillers but the cover of Von intrigued me and I decided to give it a chance. And honestly, it was one of the best reading decisions I have made. The characters have so much personality, I love Von, Mireya and Robot and their chemistry. I could relate to Mireya's character because she just an average girl not a supermodel but nonetheless she is beautiful inside and out, wanting what everyone seeks...just someone to love them, to care. There is a warning that some of the scenes are graphic but I must be slightly twisted minded because nothing I read offended me. Honestly, I loved the storyline for its creativity and there were some scenes between Von and Mireya that had me out loud laughing. The only thing that requires a side-eye from me to Author Tracy Gilmore is it ended in a cliff-hanger. O.M.G., I need Part 2 like now.
