Rate this book
Wylie Boase is the consummate womanizer. She’s smart and charming and women love her, but she’s never found anyone who makes her want to stick around. Until she goes to Broome, Australia. She feels an immediate attraction to Amarina, the woman who manages the hostel where Wylie’s staying.

Things are great between them, except Amarina isn’t out to her family and Wylie is terrified she’s going to out her unintentionally. Wylie tries to explain to Amarina that she needs to leave before she does something to hurt her, but Amarina thinks she’s just leaving to leave.

Life is hell without Amarina, so Wylie returns to Australia. Will Amarina take her back or is her heart too broken to recover?

2 1/2 Stars. I'm sorry to say, I think I have to put Williamz on my do not read list. Maybe that will make her happy, that she won't have to read my reviews anymore. It is just that the last 3 books, I've read, have been so disappointing, I just don't think she is an author for my personal tastes. I do own her first two books, which have some higher ratings, maybe I will read them eventually. But when it come to new releases by Williamz, I think I am done.

The problem with the last three books, and why I feel this way, is sex, sex, and more sex. I want to make clear, I love a good steamy sex scene, or two or three, but not twenty. There was even more sex scenes than that, I just stopped counting when I hit twenty. The problem is these books have so much sex, and so little plot. As Dee put it, in her review, maybe the sex is the plot? That's what it really feels like, and that just doesn't work personally for me. They become so repetitive, that I kept begging for some scenes that involved clothes.

I did rate this slightly higher than her last book Love on Liberty, with an extra half star. That was because this book had one interesting thing. The main character Wylie, got a job as a pearl diver. I ate these non sex scenes up, and actually found it interesting. Unfortunately, it became Wylie went diving found 4 pearls. Wylie went diving and had a bad day with 1 pearl. It too became repetitive and lost it's cool factor.

The characters, well I don't really know much about them still. Wylie likes sex and hard work, and Amarina is in the closet, and very body self conscious. That's about all I learned in this whole book. Not a lot of character details, just a lot of repetitive sex.

I can not recommend this. If you are looking for a story with a lot of sex scenes, and not much else, then this book is for you.

An ARC was given to me by Bold Strokes Books, for a honest review.

This story is 75% sex, I won't say erotica, as some might not find the frequent, often brief, mostly repetitive, sex scenes erotic. In fact the sex overwhelmed the plot so much I started to cringe and literally said out loud – “Oh god. Please, no! Not again!” - and got to the point I skimmed over them. That’s a big comment coming from a reader who adores erotic fiction.

So, what else is there? Oh little bits of Aussie, and its red dirt, and Wylie the brick layers venture into diving for pearls. I actually rather enjoyed the insight to this job. It was a welcome break from the main plot. (sex?)

And then there's Wylie's attraction to Amarina, pronounced A-Marina? And there on-again off-again relationship. Initially, I liked Amarina, but by the end of the story her self-deprecating comments, and her lack of ability to listen to a word Wylie said, drove me to distraction. So much so I knocked a star off. It went on for far too long and became a convoluted mess that I struggled to keep reading.

3 stars due to the fact that something about this story compelled me to keep reading. Less 1 star for the painful ending.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. I started out thinking that I would like this book, but as it went on, I realized that the book was constantly repeating itself. And there were so much sex scenes, I like sex scenes, but I felt no chemistry between Wiley and any of the characters. The lack of chemistry and the constant repetition irritated me. I thought I would be able to give this three stars when I started on the last chapter but even when I thought I could get really into the book it abruptly ended. This wasn't the book for me, and it is just Williamz writing style, many of you might enjoy it so don't let this review change your mind.

Don't get me wrong I like sex scenes but this was a little to much even for me and the same things Wylie said about Sheila she said about Amarina. It felt like the first apart of trip was the same once she got to her destination.

Arc given by NetGalley for an honest review.

l really hated it. Wylie and Amarina were so immature and annoying. I still don't know how I managed to finish it because it was really boring to read.

I received this book from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was not for me. In fact I couldn't bring myself to finish it - and I finish lots of books that I don't love. However, I read for the plot line and this book had a thin plot line that existed as a vehicle for boring sex scenes. Ick. Not my thing at all. I'd shelve this under vanilla erotic romance if that's your thing. It's not mine.
