Jesse Powers moved temporarily to Denver from Montana to start up his internet site. While looking out of his bedroom window he notices his neighbor across from him getting undressed. He knows he should look away but he just can't help himself.
When Kate Brooks realizes that she has a peeping Tom she puts on a show for him. Jesse storms over to her apartment to confront her. Kate is turned on by Jesse's dominant behavior and they can't get enough of each other. When Jesse wants her to move to Montana with him she is not sure. She wants to own her own business and feels that being on a ranch will hold her back.

The sex between these two was scorching. I liked both characters even though Jesse's dominant attitude was getting on my nerves at times. There was no S&M so that was a plus for me.

This is the third book in the series and it is the best by far. Jesse is my favorite cowboy to date. His story has him living in Denver to get designs for his web site “Mastering Life”. He becomes a voyeur to his red-headed neighbor, Kate Brooks. With the help of her friend Tink, she seduces him from across the courtyard from her bedroom window. Before she knew, he was at her door. Jesse is a strong, dominant, sexy cowboy that loves to take charge in bed. Kate is an intelligent, confident, determined to start her own business and is looking to be dominated in the bedroom. Jesse and Kate have such a HOT chemistry together and I even enjoyed when Brock and Riley had a small role in the hot sex scenes. Katie didn’t realize how much she love to be dominated until Jesse. Their passion for each other was undeniable. Everything seemed to be going great until Kate’s greedy boss persuades Kate against her better judgment. When you think all is lost, the Shooting Star family brings everything together. Nicole has outdone herself and I’m off to start the next book Brook’s Hellion. This is the story of Brook and Tink (got to love her nickname). We got a glimpse of their attraction to each other in Jesse’s story.

The 3rd book in series is about Jesse going to brights lights of the city and meeting Kate. Kate is a workaholic and only action she get us from her best-friends online sex shop. Until Jesse take a very close interest in her while home alone one night. The sex is very sensual and dirtier then the other books but still awesome. Jesse is dominate but purely as a sexual partner. Not in full D/S lifestyle. Loved every bit of it. Great HEA. Loved how they still kept the playful fun side to the ranch even with more serious character like Dakota and Cord been their.
