Something I was just reading weirdly reminded me of this book for the first time in decades! I was obsessed with it as a child. It was an older book even then, from the late 50s, but we got it from a library book sale or a garage sale or something where most of my childhood books came from. I'd love to see a copy today!

This was my all-time favorite book in the third grade. I checked it out so many consecutive weeks from the school library that my teacher had to take me aside. She made me check something else out for the next couple but as soon as she was distracted, I check KCN out again and again.

This was a favorite of mine and my sister. I recently found it on my niece's bookshelf and loved re-reading it on a Sunday afternoon :)

Lovely little vintage book that I remember well from my childhood! I recently found a copy online and couldn’t resist. The pictures are very sweet and I just love the story of a little girl who must wait until her parents finish working on all of the other dolls in their doll hospital before her own doll gets any attention. I remember looking at the pictures of all of the doll clothes and accessories when I was little and choosing which ones I would want for my own dolls. Lots of good memories!
