When he got a small taste of her in high school, he knew then that it would never be enough. Jaxson Steele knows her rich daddy would turn his nose up at a guy like him, so he forgets the encounter and moves half way across the county for college. What he wasn’t expecting was to run into Jessica White again. Except this time, years have passed and looks are not the only thing that has changed.
Jessica is going through life, just simply enjoying it. When she meets the steamy Jax at a party, she can’t deny the chemistry between the two of them. When a night of passion turns into him bailing on her in the middle of the night, she is left wondering what she would do if she ever saw him again. However, that’s something she doesn’t have to worry about at the moment because she is going home for the summer break.
When Jax and Jess get home to find out that their worlds have just collided in the most twisted way, will they forget their secret, or will Jax break down Jess’s walls and claim her all over again?
Steele is the first book I have read by Benson Jacobs... but it won't be the last. This step-brother was a sexy quick read with tons of emotions thrown in!
My first ever "stepbrother" romance and I was not disappointed! Fantastic book! Made me wish for more! Can't wait to see what this amazing author has next!
Hmmm, what's better than a taboo romance? One that started in high school, flares to an inferno after a chance meet up, and culminates in an ending so sweet it will make you teary! I loved it.
Oh. Might wanna have the cold water on the shower cued up and fresh batteries in your vibrator.
At first I wasn't sure about this book. Maybe it was the characters ages, but I'm not exactly sure. As I got into the story and their past came into play, I was drawn in more. The passion between these two was sizzling, and nearly melted my kindle. This author's writing was great and she left me with happy feeling at the end as she wrapped it up. *Reviewed for Wicked Women Book Blog*
This story is by a new-to-me author I found. While the story is full of sexy and juicy bits, it has a fast-paced plot that sometimes moved too quickly for my taste. Overall, it's a good shorty to keep you entertained on the ride to work, or while sitting at the beach catching the sun.
