Revisit the Storm and Savelli families. Follow along as Luca and Tammy struggle to make their union official. Check out the steamy, but guilt-ridden, love affair between Francis and Tracy, and pray for Jack as he attempts to tame, Victoria, his hard-headed wife. This is the story of a family, comprised of super-sexy alphas, kick-ass women, and fearless, undying love.
This tight-knit, loyal and loving family is a force to be reckoned with. All of their enemies find that out the hard way, even when the enemy seemingly comes from within. Beverly Beauvais has a lucky daughter Tammy, who asked for her life. I can see more stories being told surrounding her and Francis' single brother.
The Storm and Savelli men are more than alpha males, they are ultra alphas who use their sexual prowess to keep the women they love in line. Victoria, Natasha, Tamara, and Tracy are strong, independent, and sometimes stubborn and hard-headed women who love their men unconditionally and gladly surrender to their men.
In this book, we see Tracy growing out of her mourning for Steve and growing in love with Francis Savelli and all that he and the future offers for her and their baby. With her disappointment in her parent's not accepting Francis, she is overwhelmed with love and acceptance from Francis' mother Rosa and his sister and brother.
I just love how Phoenix writes the relationships between these women. Their conversations are on point with how real girlfriends act and support each other. They aren't just friends, they are sisters whose bonds are strengthened through their men.
This book was full of drama and suspense throughout to the end. Phoenix had me clutching my pearls trying to figure things out. This was an enjoyable book to read.
BP4 was everything I expected and more!!! As usual Phoenix Daniels had me on a roller coaster of emotions I was happy to reconnect with my favs, laugh out loud at some the antics ,ugly cry over over the the different transitions everyone had to go through and positively pissed at some of the bs that went down but the best part i love these characters more than I did before! Damn! Well done Ms. Daniels
I really enjoyed this book and that Victoria and Natasha are still crazy poor Jack & Gianni. I liked how Francis and Tracy was flowing I hope to hear more from them. It's crazy that Beverly still wasn't about nothing and it was a shame that Tammy had to endure that hurt. Again this was an enjoyable read you won't be disappointed.
Not as good as the previous books and we didn't get everyone's story wrapped up into a nice pretty bow, but it's okay that the series ended here for now. We get into the love story between Tracy and Francis in Book 4 and there's some great sexual chemistry between these two characters, but I have to say, not as exciting of a love story to me. I think I may be getting bored with how much the Savelli and Storm families have been through. I guess this is what happens if your family is in the organized crime business, but still it seems like they always get caught off guard when stuff does go down with them and they have children too. You'd think they'd be more careful. But I digress, we also get the low down of the wedding plans for Luca and Tammy, the ex-stripper turned fashion designer. They had a cute story, I have to say. I really enjoy them together. I enjoy all of couples actually, but I have to say Tracy and Francis are my least fave. The book was still a fun read though.
What a wonderful read! I thoroughly enjoyed the action and the sex scenes were burning my kindle up. The laugh out loud moments were so many that I have to read this book again. The suspense with the war and who might really be behind the shootings were exciting. Now why didn't I give five stars... The flip flopping of the names between Tracy and Tammy was just too many. I'm wondering what happened with the editor, a few times I had to double check it was the appropriate person, since it was the wrong name. I love the book content, but that was too much, since the book was filled with those two characters. I would have enjoyed more Francis as well, but the Wal-Mart scene... That was hilarious. I hope another Beautiful Prey is coming... Emily is a Storm!
This book was great just like all of the other books in this series. The men take alpha to another level, but the woman are no meek pushovers. I like how all of the character's stories are woven throughout. However I was hoping to get more of Francis and Tracy's story. Their story seemed pretty minimal compared to everyone else I wish they had their own book. I like Luca and Tammy and this book was a continuation of their crazy love story. With so many attacks on the family, reunions, and betrayal I was hooked from beginning to end. I'm sure there will be another book. Hopefully there will be more to Francis and Tracy's story. Or will it be Emily's turn?
Beautiful Prey 1-3 and Creed were great reads! Like other readers I'd been waiting for this book since book 3 ended. I was sorely disappointed.
First, I don't know what happened with the editor but there are typos. Tracy is called Tammy in parts of the book.
Every character had a story instead of this being Tammy and Luca's is was like a "what's happening now". There were too many side stories. It was rushed. Tracy is one moment having second the bathroom of a club and the next she's a few months pregnant.
I don't remember so much slang in the other books, but it was annoying to the point that I stopped reading a few times.
Still, questions from book 3 weren't answered in this book.
Kudos to Phoenix and her writing style....she successfully corralled all of her main characters in one check of a sequel while giving each and every one her due diligence....not everyone can have a cast of characters like these and keep the details cohesive and exciting...it's amazing because there's almost a year and a half between novels and it picks up immediately...with such sexually exciting couples..the various crime families....dangerous excitement happening at every turn...sexy Sicilian men...and even sexier strong females....It's a good afternoon read...which could lead to a very very good night..wink...blush...gasp...oh my
In love with Francis Savelli and Tracy's relationship. They are expecting a bambino/bambina, hmmm? Yet, she is an independent American woman and not quite sure if she's ready for marriage but Francis sure is. Jack Storm, all alpha male and Victoria, a hot firecracker, along with their kids, Jack Jr. and lil' Jasmine are the classic family. Luca and Tamara got married and now David has a dad who will love and protect them both. Unfortunately Tammy's mom is the b!tch in this story, so good riddance.
I recommend this series. I gave it the 5***** rating.
This series was FANTASTIC! I thoroughly enjoyed how the women were portrayed in this series. The books were funny, jammed pack with excitement, and engaging. Couldn't put it down until I devoured every syllable. I laughed, cried, and got angry with the alphas and there women. Phoenix Daniels has made the top ten of my favorite authors. I'd love to read more from her. Does Emily and Angel get a book? Will Tracey and Francis get married? Will Beverly rear her ugly head up again? Please don't torture me by making me wait too long to find out.
You cannot help but to love the Storm and Savilli Family. I adored getting to know Tracy and Francis and the inner workings of their relationship. I love my favorite couples Victoria and Jack whose fiery chemistry burn the pages of any book. I love Natasha and Gianni because they bring fire out of each other! They are dynamic. Luca and Tammy are a feisty mix and I look forward to their future! So happy they made it down the aisle! I cannot wait for the next book.
Absolutely loved this series, from the first to this last book. These men and their women are nothing to play with and are no joke when it comes to defending them family. Is there a 5th books in he works, if so can't wait to read. I need more on Francis and Tracey, what happened with her parents, did they ever get married?
This sequel did not disappoint! Phoenix knocked this one out of the park, stadium and on to the street! Hello, let's just call it a Grand Slam and be done with it! That's what happens when the bases are loaded with "Beautiful Prey 1-3" and then here comes a home run with "Beautiful Prey 4"! Phoenix Daniels is headed for the World Series!!! Hahaha, YES!!!!!!
The book was good from the beginning to the end packed with laughter, action and some emotional moments which made it the total package and let's not forget the sexxxxxx! The only reason I didn't give it give stars was because of a lot of editing mistakes, take that a way then it definitely deserves 5 stars.
This was a really good series, strong characters all around great story line & spectacular chemistry between all of the characters. I felt like there was a lot yet you unfold with this family however, if could all ends here and I'll just have to speculate on my own endings. Great work & kudos to the author.
Entertaining but my least favorite book in the series. What happened to the independent, feisty women in prior books? All the women seemed to have lost their backbone, which was very disappointing. liked seeing old characters from prior books but wish there had been more focus on Tracy and Francis. Too much violence, not enough romance.
This book was the one I liked the least, there were too many grammar and editing issues. The author couldn’t keep Tracy and Tammy straight. Using their names interchangeably at times drove me nuts. The gunfire, explosions at every special occasion were a bit much. Overall the story was exciting. It kept my interest. Here are my thoughts on the main characters. Jack and Victoria. They were my favorite couple overall but his temper and overbearingness even bothered me. I had to keep remembering he was an uber alpha male, and was just overprotective. I think it took 4 books for him to finally realize he married someone who was so much his equal, and that he couldn’t control her or tell her what to do. Of the four couples, I think they will last the longest. Tammy and Luca. I found him irritating. Making decisions for her, having rough cruel sex with her whenever he was angry at her, but god knows she gave him enough reasons. Of the four girls, I had a hard time warming to her. I didn’t like her. But she was part of the family so the readers had to accept her. I just didn’t like her. Natasha and Gianni. She was ok. He was another guy who expected his wife to be subservient. The raw sex did nothing for me. I actually kind of liked her better before she married him. Tracy and Francis. Omg he was a pig. I hated him. He acted like a typical don. A mini Don Corleone. Being a weapons runner is not glamorous. There was nothing attractive about him even though he was described as gorgeous. The vicious sex he had with Tracy literally turned my stomach. What man who supposedly loves his woman grabs her by the throat, shoves a towel in her mouth and pushes his penis in her till she’s screaming? It sounded more like assault, and there she is gushing all over him. All these guys the Italian idiots, were assholes. Too controlling, too criminal. Of the couples as I envision this story as it wraps up, Tracy and Francis are going to have to really fight hard to make it. I hope I’m wrong. For my own selfish reasons I wanted her for Steve but I understand it was for storyline purposes. I wish this story was more of her grieving and dealing with her guilt. Seemed to me she really didn’t grieve. One minute her fiancé is dead then Francis is all over her. He acted like an animal. A bit too possessive. Not a quality that I find attractive. Overall this was a great series. I hated to see it end. Now I have to wonder if Emily and Angel get their own story. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.
I have read every book you have available. I love each one but this series is my favorite. My favorite women are Natasha & victoria. I love that they are fierce & capable. They are so badass. I love that the women weren't damsels in distress. So often authors make the men cool & sexy while women be boring. This series is so amazing & cinematic. I need more books like this. I loved every minute. I love that the women felt black. Often black women writers be so worried about the angry black woman stereotype that they give their heroines no fire. The respectability politics makes them write these women so weak & docile. All the women in this series remind me of myself & bw I know. I'm going to miss this crew. Please write another series with this energy. It's so well done.
Good read, loved the Mob/ romance theme. The love between the couples is amazing and the love scenes are even better. I do have to say I was hoping to get more on Tracy and Francis’ relationship it definitely needed more development it was like bam the we’re into each other bam she’s pregnant. It was good to hear about Jack and Vic and I understand that their story started everything but what about Natasha and Gianni, it felt like they were used as props in this one more than the others . It was a very Luca and Tammy focused story so much that Tammy began to be annoying. Also the typos were confusing.
Other than that looking to read more, definitely still recommend this book.
Ahhh yes because grabbing your baby momma by the throat and dragging her across the room whilst issuing threats about being a man and proceeding to have violent sex whilst she is pregnant is so sexy, and we are supposed to believe that tracy who was only single, strong minded and independent 2 seconds ago loved it!! Luca pushing his bride to be into a pool yay how romantic never mind how extremely dangerous it is wether someone can swim not, that’s not even the only example of him physically assaulting her. Between Francis x Tracy and Luca x Tammy I don’t know which relationship is worse. The least sexiest mafia guys I have ever read, they seemed less dark and sexy and more violent and misogynistic.
I have just finished reading the whole series, and I was sad to see it end. These books provided me with the most fun I've had in a long time. To say that they were a great read is just not good enough. These characters became my friends, I laughed, cried, and mourned with them. I could imagine these books as movies, the scenes ran so smoothly and the characters and storyline was so realistic. If you love to read about true love of couples, and families that faced hardships and problems and still love in spite of it all, these stories will satisfy you. Please read these books. I had never read this author before, but now I will be looking for everything she writes.
The primary story of Francis and Tracey was just what I expected. Francis is such an Alpha and to be the Big Boss as well led to some interesting scenes. I thought Ms Daniels has done a masterful job in threading all these characters (Savellis and Storms) throughout the four books, so far. Now that Francis brother Vincenzo has appeared, who is set for him? What's going to happen to Tammy's swanky Mom? I hope there is a follow on book.
The 4th book about the Storm and Savelli families was great! I couldn't wait to get to the end and find out if Tammy survives! This book had more funny moments that book 3. The erotic, toe curling, steamy sex scenes were the hottest I have ever red! Looking for more fantastic books by Phoenix Daniels!!
Too much was regarding Tracey & Francis got them not to have the baby at be married. Hope one more book to cover that and other loose ends. David and Angel meeting. Emily and Angel meeting. Tammy resolving her and Beverly issues. Hope Give is almost complete.
Enjoyed this book. As always all that he main characters had their own chapters. I believe this series gets better as it progresses. Have already read book 5( really enjoyed how the children are growing) as well as the novella on Angel and Emily. Already looking forward to the next book, hopefully this will feature Taylor's friend, the police officer.
With this series the writer picks up right with the drama and action and we get one neck of a good story. We finally get to see Luca and Tammy marry and Francis act on his attraction to Tracy. This story is riddled with not only a few mysteries but some really good laugh out loud moments. Once again we gladly take a ride with the Storm Family.
