فى طريق العودة من المدرسة، يشعر عمرو أن عينًا تتبعه. لا تفارقه فى بيته وداخل غرفته، ويعجز عن الهرب منها بأى طريقة. يتعاطف الجد مع الخوف الذى يستحوذ على حفيده، ويصر على معرفة سببه وتفسير المعنى الذى تعبر عنه العين. بالحديث مع عمرو يتكشف الخطأ الذي اقترفه عمرو فى المدرسة فى ذلك اليوم، ويدله على ما يجب عليه أن يفعله ليتحرر من متابعة تلك العين المزعجة.

About the author

Affaf Tobbala was born in Cairo on July 12, 1941. She has a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature (1965), a Master of Arts in Communication, specializing in Broadcast Media (1987) and a PhD in Communication, also in Broadcast Media (1997), all from the University of Cairo.
In 2005, after a full and acclaimed career as director, screenplay writer and producer of groundbreaking documentary programs, and as a professor of broadcast media in various universities and institutes, she started writing for children at the age of 64, opening new doors for her creative faculties.
In more than seventeen years of writing for young people, she published 20 titles of different styles and for diverse age groups, including a collection of short stories and four novels for young adults. In her writing for children, she went beyond the didactic style forming a dynamic literary form rich in its imagination and creativity. Her stories are well structured, engaging, and powerful in its impact. She tackles a wide array of topics, ranging from what is usually of common interest to children, to others that introduce them to new realms of knowledge, values, and pertinent world issues.
Tobbala skillfully interlaces the imaginary and the real, transcending the dichotomy between them and intentionally embracing and nurturing the fertile imagination of her young readers. In her writing, Tobbala unashamedly promotes progressive ideas and encourages the young to rethink tradition and adapt it according to the needs of their reality.
Benefiting from her experience as a screenplay writer and a TV director, her writing style is fast paced and dynamic, making it attractive to the young readers attuned to visual entertainment, while providing them distinct themes, values, and aesthetics.
For her books to be read in all Arabic speaking countries she writes in standard Arabic, which is the formal official language in the Arab region. She maintains a literary style that is rich, simple, and contemporary, for she firmly believes in enriching young readers’ vocabulary by presenting them with good literature.
Her books are repeatedly reprinted, and they continuously attract the attention of critics and academics. Her work has been highly acknowledged both on the national and regional level and she has been given the three biggest awards in the Arab World namely, Sheikh Zayed Award (2011), Etisalat Award (2013 and 2021) and Khalifa for Education (2018).
She also published a collection of short stories in 2016 and completed a new novel that will soon be published.

هذه القصة استمتعت بها أنا شخصيا ... القصة الحائزة على جائزة آنا ليند لأدب الأطفال ... عقب قراءة القصة لم أتمالك نفسي ودخلت على صفحة الكاتبة ... تأملت منشوراتها وردودها ... وأرسلت لها فورا كلاما إن عدت له لن أفهمه 🙈🙈 ولكنه كان كلاما يوحي بالانبهار بما قرأت وسؤالا عن الفئة العمرية لكتبها المختلفة التي اقتنيناها حينها ... كنت أريد سؤالها كيف أن هذه القصة أعجبتني كثيرا وتعبر عن ذوقي - وإن لم أصرح بذلك؟ وجاءت اجابتها جميلة متفهمة غالبا لما لم أقل

العين هو أحد كتب سلسلة عمرو والجد حسين الجميلة ... وتبدأ القصة بمشهد للطفل عمرو بعد أن دق جرس المدرسة معلنا انتهاء اليوم الدراسي ... يشعر عمرو بالتوتر وبأن هناك من يراقبه ... هناك عينا ما تراقبه؟ زميل؟ رجل؟ من؟؟!! ... شعرت بقليل من التوتر وعقلي يطرح عددا من التخمينات المخيفة ... العين تتابع عمرو بإصرار وتتحول إلى عين فقط بدون جسد هي عين تراقب ... يخبر عمرو جده عن احساسه بالمراقبة والذي بدوره يبدي قلقا ويبحث في قصة العين والشخص الذي يراقب حفيده

الجد هنا شخص حكيم جدا جدا وجميل ❤️ يعلم أن هناك خطأ ما ويحاول التحدث مع حفيده ... وبإصرار الجد وحكمته يعرف من الحفيد أنه وبحسب كلمات عمرو قد اقترض لعبة صديقه الجيم بوي (اختفت هذه اللعبة وظهر بعدها الـ "PSP أي Playstation Portable") ليتدرب عليها بعد أن غلبه صديقه في اللعب اكثر من مرة ... يتعامل الجد بحكمة وحنكة ويعلم فورا أن هذا ضمير عمرو الطفل الصغير البرئ يؤنبه ويوجه الجد حفيده لما يجب أن يفعل حتى يصحح خطأه وإن شعر الطفل بعدم راحة في كيفية تصحيح الخطأ إلا أنه بالتأكيد سيشعر براحة كبيرة بعدها ... يفعل الطفل أخيرا الصواب ويتعلم درسا لن ينساه

أحببت تصرف الجد وشعرت بأن الكتاب موجه للأهل كما للأطفال ... لم يخبره بأن هذه سرقة ... لم ينعته بالسارق ... لم يعاقبه ... لم يعد بلعبة مماثلة ... فقط تعامل مع الموقف بشيء من الصبر والتفهم

كان رد فعل طفلاي الكبيرين مبهرا وأنا أرى كل منهما يقرأ الكتاب بهدوء وتتغير ملامح وجهه مرة تعجبا ومرة راحة ... أخبراني بأن الكتاب مدهش 😃😃 هو هكذا فعلا!

رسوم هنادي سليط وألوانها كانت أكثر من رائعة ومعبرة فعلا عن المحتوى والمضمون

قصة لطيفة جدا. تحكي عن طفل يري عين تمشي وراءه في كل مكان.. يشعر بالخوف وخصوصا أن لا أحد يري العين سواه.
يجلس مع والده ويتحدثا سويا ويسترجعون اليوم ليروا ما قد يكون السبب في وجود العين.
القصة لطيفة وتشبه قصة القلب الواشي ل آدجار الآن بو
