With a gun in his hand and several aimed at his head, Yosiah just got the shock of his life. The enemy he was facing off against was now supposedly blood. Was it true? Did his family have secrets that were spilling out of the closet?
To make matters worse, the person who revealed it to him was Nonie. Is it possible that she knew Laken better than she claimed? As much as it pained him to consider the possibility, Siah had to. Things had just gone from bad to worse and he needed answers, so for now, Laken would get a pass, but not for long.
Things with Nonie were spiraling out of control. She had Siah questioning her loyalty and Laken begging her to cross him. That wasn't even a possibility, so there wasn't a choice to be made. Problem was, she had to convince Yosiah that she was riding for him and only him.
After finding out all of Red's secrets, Kizzie walked away, or at least that's what she thought, but Red had other plans. He refused to let her go, which meant that he was taking matters into his own hands. Unfortunately for him, he would have to get past Jock first. That was a situation which could ultimately be detrimental to his health.
Jock, on the other hand, had made up his mind that he and Kizzie were going to make some moves or he was moving on. He refused to continue playing games with her, no matter how much he loved her. If she didn't get her mind right, then he was walking away, and for good this time. As complicated as it was, he wasn't about to be stuck in a situation where he couldn't get what he needed, especially when he was willing to lay it all on the line.
Laken had been so determined to avenge his father after he spent his life hearing how Senior had done him wrong, that he was not thinking clearly. That is until he received some information from an unlikely source that changed his whole outlook on things. Would it make him rethink his decision to take out his own blood, or would it just make him more driven to get it done?
It's time for this crew to choose a side. Loyalty and love aren’t always enough when it comes to matters of the heart, so Siah, Nonie, Kizzie and Jock are being tested in ways they never imagined. Their circle is strong, but will it be able to hold up when its challenged by life's pitfalls? With problems on the horizon, and enemies in the shadows, lines are being drawn and crossed. Hopefully these four can hold it together and survive without losing their way.

I just know that K.C. mills did not end that book like that I'm need part 3 ASAP. I do hope that Lankan and Siah can have a talk and work it pout because it seem that there parents is the one that messed them up. I hope Siah is alright I can't wait for part 3.
Still not seeing the relationship between Siah and Nonie but I’d like to see more from Kizzie and Jock because they have a better storyline than the others. The back and forth with Lankins is getting good but that’s really only the ending. I’m still trying to figure out just how well Lankins is doing in NY seeing he’s never there. The ending has me wanting to read the next one but I’m sure it won’t be much going on in it after that.
I'm hyped about Siah and Nonie making things official, I'm just hoping he can stay straight with him only being with just her. I absolutely love Jahari and the way he is with Kizzie, he knows that her sorry mother has put all these messed up things in her head and is patient with her. I don't know who shot Siah but I know it's about to be some mess. I'm just hoping who ever it is ready for the war they've started!
So Laken set Siah up. Jock and Kizzie mated a cute couple he kept you laughing. Kizzie mom maded me sick why would she teach that to her. Nolan was jealous of his brother. Red wanna take what's not his. Jock saved Lizzie . Royce wanted revenge. Shah Kew that Nonie was taken but that didn't stop him. Claudia knew Siah didn't won't her but her sister kept throwing her in Siah face
Really Good follow-up to an exciting beginning, but I really think that this installment of the series could have been completed. This was a story with twist and turns and quite a bit of growing up.I love when an alpha male handles his business, well we have two and they are on the case.An overall good solid read with quite bit of mystery and a lot of sexy moments and a few laughs.
THE ENDING!!!! OMG!!! WTH happened? So many secrets and there's always somebody lurking. I'm glad Siah finally came to his senses. Siah & Laken went from cousins to brothers but my question is can Laken really be trusted? And I just love Jock!!! I'm ready for part 3!!
K. C. Mills, I can't believe that you left me hanging like that. I tried to jump into the story and take that bullet for Siah. He has to be okay. Things were starting to look up for him and Nonie, and now this. How could you do this to me? He has to be okay. I need part 3 asap.
K.C. girl these men you write about have me wetting my pants. Siah and Jock are real men you don't mess with. If you mess with their women or their money your ass is dead. I was shock to find out that Laken is Siah brother. Please let Siah be okay. Can't wait for pt 3.
Yes! Yet again you delivered! Loved every minute of it. There was a lot of twist and turns and shocking moments. Alot of questions to be answered, so I guess I have to wait for the next chapter. Great read and what a cliffhanger!
Loved it page turner couldn't but it down to find out laken was yosiah brother was crazy girl you left me with my mouth open the ending was crazy can't wait for part three keep up the great work
A good read from beginning to end. Just when the plot thickens it ends. I dint want to predict but after reading the cliffhanger I think Lanken is going to protect his brother and hold Siah down until he is on his feet. Will see when next book comes out.
No K C Mills you can not do this to me! Please just give me one long book, I don't like the wait. This is a really good read. I like the characters and the storyline. What a page turner! I do recommend!
I love this book was everything drama action from start to finish page turner revelation revealed suspense so let sage continued to get cliffhanger answered!
