Sorcha is trying to figure out what she wants from the Universe
Where the first novella hinted at a great deal of world building to come,this second instalment delivers. Sorcha's youth, and some of her back story, come into play and reveal her struggle between simply moving forward, and wanting to fight in defense of those who may be hurt as she was.
Ivan is an interesting counterpoint character for her, and I hope we will learn more about him in the future.
Quick, entertaining reads like this are why I joined Kindle Unlimited.
