“THE END OF ALL THINGS,” Part One RYAN OTTLEY returns as “THE END OF ALL THINGS” begins. This 12-part mega-story will touch every corner of the INVINCIBLE universe, and when it’s over...IT’S OVER. Every single story for the past 13 years has been leading up to this! ALSO, HOLY CRAP! THIS ISSUE IS 25¢ CENTS TO CELEBRATE THE 25th ANNIVERSARY OF IMAGE COMICS!
Robert Kirkman is an American comic book writer best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Invincible for Image Comics, as well as Ultimate X-Men and Marvel Zombies for Marvel Comics. He has also collaborated with Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane on the series Haunt. He is one of the five partners of Image Comics, and the only one of the five who was not one of the original co-founders of that publisher.
Robert Kirkman's first comic books were self-published under his own Funk-o-Tron label. Along with childhood friend Tony Moore, Kirkman created Battle Pope which was published in late 2001. Battle Pope ran for over 2 years along with other Funk-o-Tron published books such as InkPunks and Double Take.
In July of 2002, Robert's first work for another company began, with a 4-part SuperPatriot series for Image, along with Battle Pope backup story artist Cory Walker. Robert's creator-owned projects followed shortly thereafter, including Tech Jacket, Invincible and Walking Dead.
I initially got this in a comicboxer months ago. I looked at the cover and thought "This looks like a dumb x-men wannabe" and tossed it aside. Eventually I got back to it. I was really surprised how quickly I got into it. I've never even heard of it before. However the art and dialogue gave me just enough info to not be too confused but not so much backstory or anything that it was boring. It was just, really intriguing characters and a plausible but original story line and good art. Now i gotta track down all the ones I missed since I waited so long.
Almost certainly the only issue of this 12 issue finale that will not feature horrible, gruesome violence, dismemberment, and death. Good kick-off to the story.
After putting away finishing this series for some time I am now going towards the end full speed. Things are definitely going to get more chaotic so let's Keep on Reading.
I have always loved comics, and I have I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I just want to Keep on Reading.
