One thing for sure is, reading this book will definitely keep your attention. One just doesn't want to put it down. It keep you right on the edge and there is always something exciting happening just around the corner so to speak. It's a very good read!!!

Brady Hawk is back, and this time his fight to stop the terrorist group al Hasib leads him back to the United States. Hawk uncovers plans to use short range missiles launched from America's rivers. As if the missile threat wasn't enough to occupy Hawk, he uncovers evidence of a conspiracy involving government officials.
I really enjoy Jack Patterson's books, and the Brady Hawk series is my favorite. In Hawk, Patterson has created a dedicated modern agent determined to do whatever it takes to stop global terrorism.
Patterson moves his story quickly in a series of short chapters. His plot lines are timely and well researched. If you like thrillers, try this series. It's worth your time.

The Presidents public ratings are plummeting. POTUS is desperate. He has made an alliance with a powerful group called the Chamber. A pact with the devil. Hawk has been branded a traitor. The CIA is after him with false allegations leveled against him by the President. The capture of Hawk and a major assassination of a key terrorist will greatly enhance the Presidents public perception and ratings. Only one obstacle stands in his way... HAwk. A fantastic read!! I highly recommend!

An interesting story and series
And the hits just keep coming.....
While one certain terrorist group is determined to lay waste to America, numerous high ranking Americans are determined to end the Firestorm group by any means necessary. Will Hawk and his team be able to figure it all out before it's too late? You'll have to read this to find out.
As this is a continual story throughout this series, it's necessary to read all of the books in the order that they were written.
I would recommend this book, series, and author.

Cleaver writing. Political thriller at its best. I love clean writing. State of Play is that book. Great characters. Exciting plot. I'm ready for the next book in this series.

How does a sitting President get into this mess?
Wonderful read. Reading this really gets to you, especially when you have some background. But Firestorm moves forward as a great team. Mostly Hawk and Alex do the work and the Senator provides most of the info while the team travels around on his dime. But, they get the job done while the president stepped aside to allow an investigation.

I know I sound like a broken record but this was another great addition to the Brady Hawk saga!!! This book had a few unexpected plot twists which pleasantly surprised me. Don not think twice about grabbing this book you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait until this series makes it way back around into my rotation.

Hawk and Alex find themselves again up against a terrorist plot, but this time the government are also stepping up the hunt for them, led by President Michaels. Can Hawk and Alex bring down both the terrorists and the US President.

Who Can You Trust
A primary tenet of spook work is that you have to be careful who you trust. Hawk and Alex are under the gun again and must find their way out with help from their friends, whoever they may be. It is going to be close.

I just finished the book. This book will hold your attention from the beginning. I am thanful this was recommended to me. Don't plan on doing anything else once you start reading this book.

STATE OF PLAY by Jack Patterson. The 7th in the BRADY HAWK series. Another captivating thriller with another mission for Hawk. Fate has chosen him once again, does he succeed. President Michael wants Bozeman to come out of hiding, in which he faked his death to get out of the CIA. What plans does the President have to boast his low rating with the public. Blunt is in Scotland and Hawk and Alex are to meet with him. Hawk's mission is to expose and eliminate President Michaels. There are strong forces wanting Hawk to fail, they have to avoid Washington. He doesn't want to jeopardize Alex now that they are together. What's happening for Alex and Hawk to wake up in a FBI safe house. He won't go against Blunt's orders, and now the CIA is holding Blunt.
Another great thriller with twist and turns to the end, enjoyable for all to read. Awaiting the next book, and the new member. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Another great Brady Hawk story that has you gripped until you're done and sorry the book has ended. The President want to make himself look the best, so he's after a terrorist and Brady. Received an ARC and loved reviewing
