Matthew Daniels and Holly Martin had a one-night stand, TWICE and love prevailed. Once Matthew proposes, the hard part is over. The rest is a piece of WEDDING cake. There’s nothing to stress over now.
However, budgets, a bitter best friend, enormous amounts of family time and an unexpected change of address may say otherwise.
Thank God for Fireball.
Matthew is super weird and accident prone, add extreme to that mix and you’ve got Holly. These two over the top, adorkable weirdos are destined for each other, a perfect match.
But does EVERYONE see it that way?
The true test to knowing whether you’re ready to take the plunge is surviving the engagement.
Will Holly and Matthew survive? Or will awkward cold feet have them running in opposite directions?
A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: Although this book was written so that it can stand alone, if you don’t know who Peen is, I recommend you reading, The Two-Night One-Night Stand, first.
**This book contains mature content. It is intended for adult readers.
Hi, I’m Ryan Ringbloom, a Jersey girl who doesn’t write Alphas. I couldn’t if I tried. Social Media stresses me the frick out, yet I can’t seem to walk away from it. I love to binge watch TV. I think cats are awesome. I’m obsessed with coffee and Fireball. But never together. I am counting down the days until self-driving cars are the norm. And if there is ever a zombie apocalypse, I won’t even try to run. I will let the first one I see eat my brain and get it over with.
This is the HEA sequel to The Two-Night One-Night Stand. It’s probably best to have read that one first to get the background, although I suppose this could stand on its own too.
Holly Martin Matthew Daniels are getting married. But it’s a bumpy road down the aisle as circumstances don’t seem to work out in their favor. As if planning a wedding isn’t stressful enough, these two are overloaded with bad luck from living arrangements to family and more. But this isn’t an angsty tale.
“‘Why do you two seem to have so many incidents? Do you know how to have sex correctly?’”
While you can’t help but feel bad for Matt and Holly, you also can’t help but laugh at it all either. It’s filled with funny situations and circumstances—Holly’s mother and Michael, and OMG the bathroom mirror.
But Matt and Holly really are such troopers and take it in stride as best they can. They are a good example of remembering that a marriage is more than a wedding and that keeping each other as the top priority is important. That being said, I think most people who have gotten married will be able to relate from one angle or another. And this story is also a good lesson in who not to be when you know someone who is getting married. Don’t be that best friend, don’t be that mother, and especially don’t be that sister-in-law.
Will the pair finally get to squeak one out in silence? Will Peen stay silent? And will penises be the theme of the bachelorette party?
“‘…you act like your mother-in-law never saw a fucking cock before. Newsflash, she has a husband and three sons, that’s four right there.’”
Told via Holly and Matthew’s alternating first person POV, this is a light-hearted romcom. If you are looking for a fun and easy beach read this summer, it’s definitely one to check out. I especially liked how the epilogues featured an update on all the characters.

Ahhh just what I needed. Quick, funny, and feel good!
What a great and fun wrap up to Holly and Matt's story. They had their HFN, and now they have their HEA!
This read was fun, relatable, and feel good! I loved getting to meet Holly's family and getting more with Matt's. Such a good read and if you've read book one you definitely need to read this!
LOVED the little bit at the end... will we be getting a full book from that little snippet??? Pleaseeee!
I actually had second hand embarrassment from reading it at times.
1. Her and the hero are moving into their apartment when she tries to start sexy times except the hero’s brothers are helping them, and she doesn’t know. So she accidentally flashes his brother. 😭 2. Her and the hero are trying to have sexy times AGAIN. Their apartment building had electrical damage so they are at his parents home. Two single beds were pushed together in the room. She has handcuffs and fishnets but due to a mishap with the beds, bam, and her mother in law walks in whilst she’s sprawled on the floor naked. 😫 3. Running late for a gynaecology appointment. Rushes home to take a shower; bathroom is occupied by her young niece “in law” who had a glitter situation. Doesn’t have time so wipes herself down with a washcloth left on the counter. Goes to said appointment with her male doctor who sees her sparkly ass vag and he assumes she did it to impress him. Ahhhhh 🤮
But she’s so endearing, and just loving in her actions, that I LOVED her! It’s been over a year and a half since I read the first book and I couldn’t remember it very well but I enjoyed this one.
Only complaint...
Seriously, Matthew needed to open his eyes to all the concessions Holly made because of their budget issues, making sure he could continue his studies, and putting a down payment on a house. Still don’t get WHY! I understand that it was on sale but get an apartment, especially if you’re not planning on having children any time soon in the next two years.
From the venue, to not having a honeymoon, cutting back on the cake and bouquet, doing her own hair and makeup on the day, no professional photographer. This is a girl who dreamt of a big wedding and she settled for small. And yes it’s all material, but the little things he could have tried to brush up on - it wasn’t going to put them in 20K debt. The smaller issues were resolved, and people came through so they could had a little elegant wedding. They’re normal people WHICH I love but come ON dude, buck up! YOU should’ve fixed those things and not have had people step up on their own account which was pure luck, man up and ask them.
It’s a light romance, safe, and sweet. Down to earth, and very much rooted in how majority of life’s problems aren’t dramatic, but convoluted and things don’t always turn out the way we plan.
The Two-Night One-Night Wedding, well not sure quite what I was expecting when I picked up this novel by Ryan Ringbloom, but I was very pleasantly suprised. It's actually been a while since I've read just for chuckles and also that a story has actually made me laugh out loud, so much so my other half has come in from the kitchen to check if I'm alright (it was that glitter scene that set that little giggle-fest off man so funny.) Well, I started reading this on my kindle in the morning, I read and read and read some more, kids and hubby had to fend for themselves, such a poor neglected family, having to make their own cocoa-pops. Was I bothered NO!!!! Because I had my nose stuck in this hilarious book and I was not stopping till I finished, which I believe was about 3 pm. So after a massive read-fest, no breakfast, copious amounts of coffee kindly supplied by poor neglected other- half I finished. You know what I found out? This is a sequel!!! well, I can honestly tell you that made not a blind bit off difference to my enjoyment of The Two-Night One-Night Wedding, this can totally be read as a standalone. |And I am definitely going to read the first book, but purely for enjoyment purposes as book two was such a hoot. Quite ironic really, reading these books back to front, just like the wedding and honeymoon themselves. So if you want to kick back and just have a chuckle, then this is the book for you, A real laugh out loud experience is just waiting for you between the pages of this book. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing a free readers copy of The Two-Night One-Night Wedding By Ryan Ringbloom. It was enjoyed immensely by myself and this is my unbiased opinion of the book.
So much fun! Holly and Matthew are the sweetest, cutest couple and I loved that we get their hea- in all its silly, crazy, over-the-top awesomeness. This book is so delightful- the perfect blend of humor and heart!
Perfect follow-up to TNONS and exactly what I've come to expect from this author in terms of hilarity, a talking peen, and the ups and downs and sometimes insides and outs of relationships. If I didn't know these characters were fictional, I'd believe them to be people I know in my own life. What Holly and Matthew started in the first story, continues on here, much in same vein as the first, but with the reality of living with family, what insanity really goes into planning a wedding and every hitch along the way. Insightful, adorable, real life level awkward at times, right along with the nerdy references and adorable as all get out relationships, this book is definitely tops for romantic comedy and can and should be read by all. Loved every hilarity filled minute of it all and can't see where the author takes us next!
A few months ago I read The Two-Night One-Night Stand, and I really enjoyed it, so I was excited to read this one. Unfortunately, a lot of things that worked for me on the first book, didn’t quite steal my heart on this one. The reason I ended up rating this book so low, was because my main issue with it was the plot.
I also found the writing slightly inferior to the first book, it was still funny and the author managed to write some funny situations, but some of them were just way too cliché, or run down jokes, and it just felt a little flat for me.
Matthew and Holly were still super funny, but I was disheartened to see such a huge lack of communication between them, and I honestly didn’t quite feel that much chemistry between them. And I wanted to kill all secondary characters at some point or another in the book, because they were all meddling way too much. But what really annoyed me, was how Holly and Matthew just let them o ahead and meddle in their lives…
Now, about the plot… and the wedding… and the characters… first of all, I hated the lack of consistency surrounding Holly and the wedding. A girl that is willing to pump up her guest list just so she can book a venue she really can’t afford, annoys me to no end. I’m glad that didn’t happen, but still, it crossed her mind. I was a bit annoyed by the 8 or 80 thing going on surrounding the wedding, and the doubt on everyone’s minds about the wedding plans.
Overall, the book just didn’t do it for me. I didn’t hate it, but I felt it was a bit unnecessary. Some things could have been cut from this novel, and it would have been more enjoyable for me.
EITHER WAY, I STILL VERY MUCH RECOMMEND BOOK 1, WHICH WAS HILARIOUS, BUT MAYBE YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND SKIP THIS ONE…
This is the sequel to The Two-Night One Night Stand so it will help if you have read it and therefore have some familiarity with the characters and how they ended up together but Ringbloom does a great job of writing this so it could work as a stand-alone too. If you did read the first then you’ll LOVE what she has done with the characters now.
This book definitely brings new meaning to that phrase “Marry the person, marry the family” and made me glad we opted for more ‘private’ arrangements when we got married lol. Although I didn’t completely escape the in-law antics so I had a lot of empathy for these two. I think anyone who has been through the ‘process’ of engagement and trying to just get to the part where they are officially legal will completely understand what this couple is going through and if you haven’t yet – consider this your warning LOL! It’s also a good story for those who have someone close to them that is getting married because there are so many stereotypes in this novel it kind of forces you to hold up a mirror to see if you’re THAT person who ends up being written about in Dear Prudence.
There was so much humor in this but what I really loved was how the author wrote her characters not to have the typical Bridezilla, let’s constantly fight kind of relationship but instead they seemed to take it all in stride and understand the wedding isn’t as important as the relationship. The alternating points of view between the couple really helped give a wide picture of how everyone was feeling and particularly trying to put together a wedding getting to see the guy’s pov was interesting.
Ringbloom is such a fun author to read that you can’t go wrong picking up one of her books to enjoy this summer.
This is the sequel to Two-Night One-Night Stand which is a must read, and you might want to read this book first to get full appreciation of the characters, and a bit of background info on the “peen.”
With Matthew and Holly over the hump of awkward singleton, and officially becoming a couple, they are ready to commit to “Soul mate” heaven and running full throttle to marriage. They are the quintessential best nerd couple all-around, that is what makes them so unique and endearing. Unfortunately, wedding details get derailed when a fire ruins their apartment building forcing them to live with Matthew’s parents.
Holly is still feeling awkward about the first time she blurts out about having a one- night stand with Matthew to his mom, so getting comfortable in her company is just not happening. But Matthew ensures all is fine and things will work out. Throw in all the hurdles that new couples face when it comes to family antics, best friend jealousy, money worries, buying a house, no sex while living with the parents, the pre-wedding parties, and the myriad of other stuff, and it’s enough to blow a gasket on the wedding. Poor Matthew and Holly just want simple, but family and friends have other ideas that put constant pressure on the relationship.
I love how Matthew and Holly stay constant with each other. They really know where their heart is and what’s important. The author keeps it light, funny, and sweet with a bit of steam. I just love the final resolution and how everything comes together. Two-Night One-Night Wedding is entertaining and oh, so satisfying. Loved it.
I received and voluntarily reviewed an ARC given to me by the author via NetGalley.
Going to the chapel and they're going to get married...Holly and Matthew are finally ready to tie the knot, but you know these two. Nothing every goes smoothly. But we can add some fireball to the mix and everything will even out. Right? If you loved The Two-Night One-Night Stand, then you will absolutely have a rainbow fit to get a hold of this one. Matthew's family is crazy as we all know but just wait until you meet Holly's! With an apartment snafu, gyno appointment and wedding planning with "help", this story had me laughing and cringing and needing therapy. My husband and I eloped in real life and now I totally understand why. I can't wait for everyone to see how these two make it to the official day. Or do they....mwahahahahhahahahah.
Another great book by Ms. Ringbloom with the most adorkable characters out there! I loved the book that came before this and was excited to see this follow-up. I was a little worried that it wouldn't measure up, but it totally held its own. Once again, I laughed from start to finish. And not just a chuckle here and there, but full-fledged tears-running-down-my-face laughter. These two characters are so perfect together, If you're looking for a captivating story about two realistically flawed people facing challenges together in the funniest way possible, then this one is for you!
So freakin' adorable. I loved Matthew and Holly in thr first book and loved them in this sequel just as much
*4.5 Stars
So freakin' adorable. I loved Matthew and Holly in thr first book and loved them in this sequel just as much!
There is such a fantastic blend of love and laughter in this story. The heart is evident in Holly and Matthew's relationship AND in their relationships with their crazy friends and family. I loved that the wedding wasnt over-the-top, and that the focus was on their marriage and future together. The almost-outrageous (but still totally believable) situations that crop up are hilariously cringe-worthy.
These two are just so sweet and sexy, you will be laughing and smiling the entire time!
Ryan Ringbloom has done it again. Our favorite crazy couple are back and this time they are getting married. Matthew and Holly are ready to tie the knot but you name it and it has gone wrong for these two. If you somehow managed to not fall in love with this couple in their debut novel, The Two Night One Night Stand, well now is your chance! I haven't laughed this hard in awhile but I also have the feels for them too. Ryan has created the most lovable and addictive couple - I always want more!

I don't know where to begin with how much I loved this story. Holly and Matthew just make the most disastrous couple but yet the most fun loving amazing couple. They are perfect together. If something is going to go wrong it will go wrong for them. From squeaky beds to broken mirrors this is such a fun loving warm hearted story that was an pleasure to read. I was so glad to see return of the Peen even of only for a little while. It was good to have him back lol.
I like books with strong and assertive women. As much as I was irritated by Holly's lack of voicing her wants and need to her fiancè's family, and her fiancè's cluelessness, the book was enjoyable and funny.
I am hoping for a third book. I'm not getting my hopes up of Holly growing a backbone or Mathew getting a clue, but I'd still read it.
Wedding plans, families, a squeaky bed, families, glitter, and did I mention families? It wouldn't be Holly and Matthew without a series of hilarious screw-ups, and we get all of that and so much more. This book is just all kinds of fun...comical situations plus the love these two have for each other equals the ultimate happily ever after!
This book was the perfect ending for TNONS!! I love Holly and Matthew and was so excited to get more of them. Their quirky and weirdness completely for together. This book will make you laugh at every turn. I also loved that we got so much of all the secondary characters. This author keeps me intrigued and coming back for more. Loved it!
The characters are a hoot, and I will now be following a new author. This was a continuation of another book The Two Night One-Night Stand. Continuations usually make me crazy, but both were so fun, they were worth it. Cannot wait to read more!
Loved this book! Kept me in stitches the whole way through! Holly and Matthew are trying to plan the wedding of their dreams however, life has other plans. Between money issues, family interference, and an apartment fire it’s beginning to look a lot like the wedding won’t be happening. Throughout the whole book you can’t wait to see what will happen next. This is the first book I’ve read by Ryan Ringbloom but it definitely won’t be the last! Just an FYI before you read this book there is a book preceding this one introducing these characters called The Two Night One Night Stand.
I needed some very light reading and this book and it's prequel fit the bill. Very cute, funny , and at times sappy. May not be everyone's cup of tea but for me it was a fun read. Everyone in life should be as happy as this couple! Enjoy.
This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
3.5 stars. Matthew and Holly are ready to tie the knot. Apparently, that's easier said than done. Because while the love and the desire to pledge forever is a no brainer, the process to getting there is rather taxing. Between Matthew's work schedule, Holly's proposed budget, family influence and deviating from tradition, this is no easy task. Matthew and Holly are still as solid as ever except things keep getting in the way in the usual fashion - the humor and embarrassing and awkward moments are never going away, but now includes heartwarming ones, too. Fun and entertaining conclusion for Matthew and Holly that is so typical of them.
Received this book via NetGalley.com. 3.5 Stars I enjoyed the first book in this series and wanted to read this one when I heard about it. there are laugh out loud moments but I was more concerned about all the bad luck and self loathing in this book.
copy received through Netgalley for review We met Matthew and Holly in Two Night One Night Stand. They continue their adventure in this fun story Matthew has proposed and now all we have to do is plan a wedding and get married. How hard can that be? With Matthew and Holly nothing is easy What follows is a winding road to wedded bliss. Anything that can go wrong does go wrong. A little bit of angst for the characters, but the ride is fun for the reader. The characters along with the family and friends are great. It's non stop fun and love in this story
This book is the hilarious sequel to The Two Night One Night Stand. Holly and Matthew are finally making their way down the aisle, but a string of entertaining and jaw-dropping calamities pelt them every step of the way. All they want is a drama-free engagement, but that's just not in the cards for this couple. Join them on their comical and glittery journey toward happily ever after. Just an aside, I've said it before and I will say it again...Matthew is so dreamy, so geeky...the absolute perfect BBF.
