When you miss hockey, what else is there to do but read a book on hockey facts.
I'm glad I did too!
I've been watching hockey for most of my life. I have been a Toronto Maple Leaf fan since 1992. Beyond the Leafs, I didn't really know much about any other players or teams. I may have heard of stars like Terry Sawchuck, but I really knew nothing about him.
This book changed all of that.
I learned so much about certain players, and teams, including the para-olympic hockey sport of sled hockey.
Shows you really are never too old to learn something new about something you love.
A great book for fans!!

This book is poorly written and full of errors. Multiple "facts" are just wrong. (i.e. Lemieux wasn't the only player to win back-to-back Conn Smythe trophies. Bernie Parent won in 1974 and 1975.

There is no rhyme or reason for which players are profiled, and seemingly no reason they are ordered the way they are. How do you not include Hasek for goalies or Lidstrom for defensemen?

At random points in the book the font changes. There are many typos and spelling errors as well.

A slim and rather poorly edited book, but certainly entertaining and informative for the Hockey devotee.

HOCKEY

A very comprehensive book on the history of hockey. It was interesting to know of all the leagues and divisions. Most interesting was the short biographies of the NHL legends!
