AFT Special Agent Harper is kidnapped by a Columbian drug lord to create a bomb to get rid of his enemies. Undercover CIA Agent Rafe will do whatever is needed to save Harper including breaking his own cover.
Intense and thrilling. She is kick-it strong and independent and will take any advantage she can get. I have to admit her knowledge of Rafe’s former fiancé as a case study was worse than what he knew. Her one sentence thought was brutal and nightmarish but it also gave credence to her skills and willingness to push through.
Rafe was surprising.
Great suspense and action. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

There was a lot to this book that was better than #1. We get to see Harper use her skills solo and partnered with Rafe. The setting and challenges were well described, although the cascade of obstacles was a bit OTT. By focusing on one couple, the writing was tighter and the emotions were more evident, plus the sexy bits were more intense.

Like kick-butt women? Haper is about the kickest ever! This is my first book by the author. It sure won't be the last.
Harper is one special lady. She is the equivalent of a Navy SEAL, has the highest security clearance, and has affiliations with several government agencies. Not to mention the secret she shares with only four people in the world. Returning from a mission with her team, she is grabbed. The team held at gunpoint, she is spirited away. Of course, the team trying to take her out did not go unscathed.
Segundo, AKA Rafe Silva undercover CIA, is the man taking her who promises to keep her safe. He soon learns she is very capable. And Hot. The feeling is mutual even though they know it is dangerous. They fight the feeling. Can they keep work and personal separate? If not, will she allow a man close enough to hurt her like her history shows? Rafe had another strong woman. Her death ruined him for anyone like her. Like Harper.
Their time together, their escape efforts bring them close, makes them dependant on each other, and forces them to face the truth of their lives. Can they give what is necessary to be together--if they make it out alive.

Undated Love
OMG! This was an edge of the seat story right from the beginning. I didn't realize Harper was part of the Black Swan group. This story is about Harper and Rafe. Being in cartel country is always risky business and this story was no exception. I felt back for Harper but Rafe's fiancee had it much worse before she died. That was horrible! Anyway, I am glad that we got to find out Rafe was on the good side. It was touch and go there for a while when the building fell on Rafe but I am happy he wasn't terribly hurt. Once the bad guys were eliminated and these two finally made it back home, I am happy that these two finally found their happily ever after. FANTASTIC job KaLyn! I would recommend this book.

Harper Tambini is an explosives expert for the Army. She is also one of several women trained to be so much more. With training under her belt from several different agencies, she is a powerhouse on currently loan to the ATF. Rafe Silva, former Navy SEAL, works for the CIA and is currently undercover with one of the largest drug cartels in Columbia. He is known as Segundo in the Cartel. He has been undercover for several years and it is wearing on him. When Harper is captured and taken by Carlos, his boss, so she can make a particularly deadly and effective explosive for Carlos to use against his enemies.
This is a great book! Non-stop action with compelling story line. I love the premise of these books with fierce women trained to be the best of the best. Cooper did a great job of showing the struggle Rafe faces being undercover and having to report on a long time friend who has gone down the wrong path. Also, describing the struggle Harper faces in developing a weapon for the cartel leader in order to keep her teammates alive. Two hardened agents working together and able show their vulnerabilities to one another. This is definitely a must read! This book is part of a series but can absolutely be read as a stand alone with no problem.

This was a great second book in this series.
There was many aspects of this book that I liked. I liked the chemistry that Harper and Rafe both had. I liked the way that Rafe understood Harper. He was an alpha man who knew that his woman had skills and could take care of herself.
Another thing I really liked was the character of Harper. I enjoyed reading about her. She was this independent trained fighting machine that was able to do anything a man could. However, there was a vulnerability that she had when she was with Rafe. In the beginning she couldn't understand why her body acted a certain way around him. It was fun to read her reminding herself that she was a woman also.
The only thing i missed in this book was more of the black swan group. In the first book they were very involved but in this book, it was more of a solo mission.
I can't wait for the third book!

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review:
A brilliantly, exciting, action-packed, THRILLING romance that had me breathless and on the VERY edge of my seat! Uncaged Love started out with a big bang. I thought things were so exciting if not a bit scary and the way this romantic suspense made me feel is just priceless. It reminded me a bit of Susan Stoker's stories and Caitlyn O' Leary's stories. There was SIZZLING romance, WHITE HOT sex, great banter, heart pounding action and enough heart to really melt you. WOW! I can't believe I have missed this series. But with this now on my radar I plan on picking what I missed up VERY soon. This is just a well written book with excellent characters and a really great plot.

Rafe, finds out he has an instant attraction to Harper, a guest of his boss, he finds out she had been taken against her will and was now watching her, his boss who normally discusses his plans as to why she is with them and who she is or even more strange how important she is. As the second in Command he normally is told everything, she is Gorgeous, strong looking and in control, the bosses nephew, a dangerous prick is eyeing her up, he will have to try and protect and come up with a plan so he can keep him away from her. Great story with a few surprises for them both. Can’t wait for book 3.

I was asked by the author for an honest review.
I would have liked to give Uncaged Love a 3.5 rating. It had a lot of similarities with Unrelenting Love (the first book in the series) and I would have appreciated more variation. You don’t have to read the first book in the series to understand the story or characters in Uncaged Love.
There weren’t a lot of descriptions to set the scenes. Words were primarily about what happened, what was said or what someone was thinking.
I would recommend the book to people who enjoy military romances.

I read the first book in the series and was hooked, but then this one got even better. I love the whole female special ops team, because honestly I would want to be on a Special ops team if I was in the military and I love that Kalyn Cooper created this world. As I said the first had me hooked to the series, but this one really had me where I couldn't put it down. I'm all about suspense and this one was great, with edge of your seat wondering what would happen next. I enjoyed it and if you like suspense and action, with strong females and a man who appreciates that, then give it a try

The Black Swan Ladies are kick ass exciting. I love how the men under estimate their skills and are proven so wrong. Book 2, Harper and Rafe's story does not disappoint. It has action, passion and heart. I could not put it down. I read this book while in line at the grocery store, at stop lights, you name it. Kalyn Cooper has a winner with this series. No spoilers here but this book is HOT!

This is my first read by this author and it looks like my tbr pile is about to overflow with yet another author.
This was one action packed story that had me glued to my kindle. I enjoy similar authors and this one came recommended. I was certainly not disappointed. I love a good kick arse female character instead of a needy whiny woman. The characters had great chemistry and the story flowed smoothly. I loved it.

💚💙Oh my gosh, love these incredible Black Swan women and the brave men who are strong enough to love them. The stories are riveting, with enough facts to make them completely believable and that soul mate love that we all sigh about.
Rafe and Harper are caught in some of the most harrowing situations that will keep you on the edge. Their attraction to each other is intense and there's heat in this read.
A recommended read that can stand alone but the series makes it oh so much better.

The author has a way with words that keeps this story flowing. In the previous book you know Harper is in trouble. As her and her team get to the hanger in Bogota they are attacked by the cartel. Harper is kidnapped because of her skills and she doesn't know what has happened to her team. She meets Segundo aka Rafe undercover CIA agent. There is a lot of danger, heat and HEA. Received this book free for an honest review.

This is the second book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I love this series lots of action . Shows how powerful men underestimate women. Love the strong fierce women of these books. Definitely would recommend reading this. I could not put it down.

Awesome
I love this series and I love this author. She does her research and her stories show that those details help make it exceptional reading. I really like the strong yet vulnerable women she creates. Her world building is excellent and complete. Her characters are fully fleshed. You want a world to lose yourself in this is a great one to pick!

Harper was a great character with plenty of training and she needed it! Loved lots of action from page 1 right till the end. Rafe was also a fantastic character and also well versed in special forces. The two had great chemistry and plenty of steam as they had to work together. Loved it! This is a series that is on my 1 click list. Loved it!

KaLyn sure knows how to write a great book! This book is part of her Black Swan series. Has lots of action, suspense, I was wandering about Rafe was he on the good side of bad side? I was glad he wasn't. I really enjoyed this book and I liked Harper and Race together. Harper is one kickass woman she's like a deal and all special forces rolled into one. I highly recommend this book.

Chemistry in more ways than one, drug cartels, kidnappings, protecting your team...this action packed romance has Harper showing everyone that she isn't what everyone would think but she has to decide if she can trust Rafe to have her back while escaping or will things blow up in their faces. Loved it!!!💞

Intense, action packed and smoking hot sex scenes. I loved these characters, Rafe and Harper work together to save themselves and each other. This story pulled me in from the first page to the last and I couldn't put it down. A great story-line/plot, wonderfully written characters and great writing. Fabulous book KaLyn Cooper!

I love all the characters in this series. This book has a lot of suspense and excitement. There is a lot of graphic sex to skip over, but it is a good story with an enjoyable closing chapter.

Amazing!
Another excellent story! Well written and exciting read. I couldn't put it down. Loved the first 2 books so much I bought every book written by KaLyn Cooper. I had to add her to my favorite authors list!
