Ruins of Dreams

Rate this book
On one day everything was normal. The next morning billions of people had vanished, and new magical creatures had appeared, altering not only the Earth but everyone who woke up on that one day. Lulu survived the change, only to encounter far worse situations than she’d ever known before. Two years after a sea of dreams transformed everything, Lulu searches for “tech bubbles,” places where technology is still operational, and consequently useful to the survivors. What she discovers is that not all weapons from the past are nonfunctioning, and that the past is never truly dead. She will fight to save the new world and everyone she’s come to love. Discovering her own powers, Lulu is on a frantic journey to recover items that will shut down a doomsday device. Nothing will ever be as easy as snapping one’s fingers as she encounters new animals, new people on a weird purple world, and who her enemies really are. Ruins of Dreams is the fourth novel in the Dreams series. The order is Sea of Dreams, Mountains of Dreams, Forests of Dreams, and Ruins of Dreams.

Another great series by C L Blevill

I've read several of her novels now and loved everyone.
Her characters will remind you of someone you know. The plot is great, full of
humor and angst, and the places she takes you to are whimsical and scary.
The book is along the lines of Patricia Briggs and J. C. Diem and are appropriate for ages 10 up.
No explicit scenes. Just a great fantasy read.

Greatest Story Ever Told!!

This entire series is one of the greatest, most incredible, creative stories I have ever had the honor of reading (and I read a freaking LOT) I want to cry now that it's over. These characters are now a permanent part of my psyche. Thank You C.L. you truly outdid yourself!!!!

Series end?

Another home run hit. I couldn't put the book down but I have that problem with all C.L. Bevill books. Clever, interesting twists, humor and mystery throughout the story. Fun series with lots of hmmm, hadn't thought about that moments.

Dreams

Good read, characters images on both worlds are so real. I would recommend this book. Looking forward to other books in this genre.
