If you enjoyed a Diary of a Private School Kid, you'll love this hilarious sequel.

Despite a solid attempt to justify his actions, Ben's quest for food lands him in hot water at school - much like the very hot dogs he's trying to obtain. Through a series of head-knockingly bad choices, Ben learns that deception, lies and trickery are not always ways to get what you want.

Diary of a Private School Kid 2: Hot Dog Day is a funny illustrated chapter book that's entertaining for children, middle school students, and adults.

Ben talks to his future self. Ben is sarcastic and funny. His thinking is hilarious. His quest for food lands him in hot water. He eventually learns the deception, lies, and trickery doesn't pay.

Listen to the guy who has the halo, not the one you has the horns.

Nice

This book is very nice but I find it a bit too short for me. Also I think of you read this book you should get the first one.

I quickly wanted to read this because it is a sequel to the first one. Like the first one, this book teaches a valuable lesson in the consequences of lying (and indirectly stealing) and discusses things you "could have done'' instead of making the bad choice you made. I just thought the story and the pictures weren't as interesting as last time, but this book is intended for children, so they may have a different perspective. But this series of books teaches lessons EVERYONE needs to hear, no matter what age. I also like that he is writing to his future self, and trying to teach himself ways of making better choices.

Now I am hungry, thanks

Sometimes we forget to bring lunch from home and end up hungry. I totally get this. Ben sounds cool, and sometimes his thinking is off, but thanks to Sister Ellen, Ben pulls though. Looking forward to more from this series. Read and enjoy!

Awesome😂

I liked this book because it is full of many laughs. 😁. It is most likely not relatable for most, but it is still super good with funny yet simple illustrations!!I totally recommend it!
