What is the difference between being sexually empowered and sexually objectified? Is there any such thing as being “trans enough”? How do you respond respectfully to being called out online?
In It’s Complicated! Ronnie Ritchie collects a year of comics with the feminist online magazine, Everyday Feminism. Covering topics from sex positivity to transgender healthcare to the Military Industrial Complex, Ronnie has been working to better inform the public on everyday oppression and some ways to overturn it, one step at a time.
Ronnie Rene Ritchie is an illustrator, comic artist, and storyteller working out of Peterborough, Ontario. Since graduating from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon with a BFA in Illustration, Ronnie has had work featured in galleries and sex shops across North America, and their autobiographical webcomic, GQutie, has seen its popularity soar online. Their favorite stories are the most earnest, surrounding the ways that imperfect people find joy and connection in a difficult world.
