Bury My Heart: A Disrespectful Love Affair

Good read
This was a good read, definitely points points for it being a standalone. No way both girls thought Rae was lying on that man like that. I wish we could've gotten more of them with their families. I actually understood jurnee. She just should've verified of he changed or not before she wild out. I understood Halo a bit more when he explained that he told her what it was, and yea he definitely shouldn't have gotten married. There was definitely a double standard because if he felt he did no wrong, then why were you apologizing? He talking about all the men she had when I'm sure he had just as many women if not more, but at the end he was never in love with her which is why he continued to do him in the first place. I did not like Joy's mental health being discussed as if it was an excuse but it was a reason. An excuse is used to blame or justify and a reason is used to explain why this happened. No one said it was right nor ok but proving a reason is supposed to help people understand better. It was truly sad because mental health truly seems to be on an all time rise and when so many people having the mindset of Angle and Ari then I feel it will be a long time before we make the strides to truly get a handle on this. I'm trynna figure out how the men presented the office job as better than dancing. I get not taking clothes off but that's what they do and we're already use to it. I don't believe 2 dancers that weren't new chose 2k a week over 2k a night minimum 3 nights a week. I liked all main 4 characters , really wish I could've seen them years from now with their families.

Loved it
I really enjoyed this story. Rae went through a lot. I'm glad she found Halo so she can know what a man's love was. Angel was a mess and I loved him too. I'm glad Ari came into his life. Females like Asha and Candy are truly low self-esteem individuals. Although Candy had past trama, as an adult she could have seemed help but glad she was learning that with the help of G. Now I'm bothered it took Angel so long do deal with Joy, knowing she killed an innocent person and yet he continued to let her slide. Now poor Jurnee had a few screws loose as well. She choose to sleep with her husband best friend and enjoyed I. She deserved to be in prison.

Great Read
Halo and Angel went through some crazy things in life until two gorgeous women walked into their lives. Halo was trying to keep his marriage straight at the time, but his wife, Jurnee, was doing everything but being a faithful wife. Rae and Ari didn't even know one another when they went in to audition for their jobs. They became close and got totally different jobs. Candy allowed her jealousy to take over and harm people. Everyone is this book had nothing but drama, but it was handled accordingly. Love was found organically. Awesome read!

Bring on part 2.......This was a truly great story Rae should've whooped Candy tail from the jump and have her run tell that........Journee it's the lowest type if you couldn't get over it you shouldn't have stayed but then you kick it with is homie that's some grimy stuff.......Air & Angel hope they get together Joy is demented........some errors nothing that took away........overall enjoyable read

A story full of delusional, psychotic women. Are escaped abusive BY Red and headed to Atlanta and met her future, Halo, but he has own issues. Angel caught up in a fatal attraction situation, that can only end badly. Can't wait for Karma to come a visiting Jurnee, Banks and Candice!!

This was an excellent read. Lots of love sex and drama. In this tale love and drama all around. Some people just can't let shit go. Then you have those whom will not take no for an answer and continue to make your life a living hell. I enjoyed this read and I highly recommend it. Lots of twists and turns. Will not disappoint.

This book is a page turner. I read this book in a little under 2hrs . Poor Halo and Jurnee need to just let him go. Rae better get her a 45 like change for a 20 and finish Red off.

I loved me some Halo he was a straight forward sexy about his business man! His attitude and his caring! I loved him & Rae together. And the love scenes were hot. His brother Angel was sexy and had his back and him and Ari were so cute together. Loved these two couples together.
