I placed my hand on my stomach as it fluttered with nerves and uncertainty. The square window of the train framed the familiar sights of the town of Crawford. My eyes drank it in longingly.
“I’m home,” I whispered to no one. My heart raced wildly as the train came to a stop.
“Crawford,” the conductor called.
I swallowed hard and took up my reticule. I paused, waiting patiently for the other passengers as they flocked to the exit. I stood, weighing my hasty decision. Had I made the right choice in returning?
I stepped out into the aisle hesitantly. With every step I took, I felt a little more like myself, the old me; the version of me that I favored.

Hi, I am Sherri Beth Johnson! I am an author, a wife, and a mother of a beautiful daughter and a special needs son who is our little miracle! I am an old soul, a hopeless romantic, and a contented introvert who often finds it difficult in finding my place in this modern world. I love living in the country on land that has been in my husband’s family for four generations. I work full time as an office administrator. Wonderful family read

First time reading this author's books and now I am going back to read the first one in this series. This author sucks you right in, it's like you are there and you can feel the same things that the characters are feeling, like this new author's books. Will definitely be reading more.

Great book, you won’t be able to put it down !

I highly recommend this beautiful book! It is very entertaining. You also learn from it too . Great characters, nice small western towns .i love that , family great neighbors, love , forgiveness, trust, excitement and etc you really won’ t be able to put it down.I usually don’t write reviews but I had to on this book I want everyone to read this book ! I have never read anything by this author but I am hooked now ! Great author! On to the next book in this series ! Thank you to the author I really enjoyed this book long too so you get your money’s worth ❤️👍

I have really enjoyed this book series. I love that its clean reading I know I can let my teenage daughter read this authors books. We have a great time both reading the books and then discussing them. I can picture the small country farm living in my mind. Its a great story when your able to visualize the setting in your mind. I stayed up way to long for a few nights reading this because I simply couldn't put it down!
