The Guardians Series 1: Book 5 Infernum, the Hell book. There have been whispers of it down through the centuries. The most powerful book to have ever existed, so powerful wars have been fought over it, families torn apart and betrayed for it, souls have been lost to it and countless rivers of blood have been spilled for it. It is said whoever possesses it will have limitless power. The humans want it, so do the demons and every supernatural creature in between. When Olivia finally returns to her hometown of Mercy with her husband Theo, the relief is short lived. Her mother and the demon Nathaniel have also returned and they are under the disturbing impression she knows where the Hell book is and they’re not the only ones. With supernatural creatures pouring into Mercy at an alarming rate in a desperate attempt to gain possession of the lost book, they head straight for Olivia. With Theo and her friends trying desperately to protect her, she knows she has run out of time. Infernum is awake now, she can hear it whispering to her. It wants to be found and when an old friend she thought was long dead arrives in town Olivia realizes, in order to stop her mother and Nathaniel before they can use her to get their hands on the book, she must summon the most ancient and dangerous fire of all, demon fire. If she doesn’t they will fail, hell will be unleashed on earth and Mercy will be the gateway, but with everything hanging in the balance can she really risk her life and the life of her unborn child or this time, is the price just too damn high. REVIEWS "What an amazing read this book is. From the moment I started reading I was hooked and could not put the book down and ordinarily that would be fine but I’ve been a walking zombie at work this week due to lack of sleep but IT WAS WORTH IT." (Amazon Reviewer) "Couldn’t put it down. It draws you in and keeps up the pace to the explosive finale. It also makes you care about the characters who are believable and human. This is a book you will want to read and recommend to your friends." (Amazon Reviewer) "Fantastic read!! Starts with a cracker and keeps it rolling perfectly all the way through, you know you need to put down the book to sleep but you have to know what happens next!!" Okay so what a wedding. Talk about having friends in high places with all the gods and immortals but I did Love Hades in this one. So much happening but it's coming to the end. I love the idea of all the different fires and that they all have different colours. I love the way Theo is just like there is no point in telling you you are your own woman I'll just follow.
A thrilling and gripping 5th instalment of this fantastic series.
Joining Olivia and Theo where we left them at the end of Witchfinder we race with them as they fight their biggest and most deadly battle. This book is as un-put-downable as its predecessors and equally exciting. I didn't want it to end while at the same time desperately wanting to find out what the conclusion would be. I was not disappointed! Brilliant.
Can’t remember the day i started. What i will say is that these 5 books are an awesome read! Character development was great. The story telling was on point. There were a few typos that made me give a side eye, but not enough to put the book down.
Witches, Demons, Titans, gods, demigods, etc... can’t wait for Guardians series 2.
Didn't know what to expect when I started reading this series, what I did not expect was not being able to pur them down I have devoured them all and now can not believe its over, hopefully it's not there are are still four books to wake, pleas please get writing Wendy
Wow. This book, this series as a whole was phenomenal!!! I absolutely loved it. The writing is clear and concise. The characters are flawed but lovable and relatable. The new characters shine like they've always been there and the old characters feel like family. I found myself crying and laughing and sharing quotes with my husband just because. I want more!
Ms. Saunders knocked it out of the park with her wrap up of the 1st Guardians series. With a nice segue into the next series at the end. I just hope she starts writing the next one soon.
Wow☺ I've just finished all 5 books. Really the best series I've read all year. I love Theo & Olivia. Epic 💘. But it's so much more. We get the POV from several characters. I can't wait for the next installment of the guardian series.
Excellent series, however, it left a lot of loose ends which is a pet peeve of mine. Sam - whoever and whatever he is - gets "taken" by Ash & Cyrus. Why? To what end?
Theo is simply too phenomenal - he doesn't work for knowledge. Basic superstitions from the 16th century means it should be the opposite
Why was Louisa's gifts not amped up like her brother? She makes more use of science and medicine post the angelic web. Huh?
The search for Hester remains unfinished. Olivia gets no training from her ancestors whatsoever even tho she meets them for training? Why is Jackson's new kid important?
Simply too many holes for a "complete" series.
Why do new writers think we need an orgasmic ending to chapters?

Olivia and Theo are back in Mercy and married. Olivia is pregnant but the Hell book Infernum is calling to her and others want a get their hands on it first. The penultimate book in this first Guardians series is a roller coaster of a ride. None stop action from the get go I found it hard to put down. Highly recommended.
I really like this series. It is very layered, almost teeming with information and intrigue. I felt the climax was a little...less exciting than I anticipated, but still: well done. I can’t wait to explore what is next.
This book was almost anticlimactic. Somehow I knew what was coming. I was disappointed that the twins weren't born by the end. I do enjoy Olivia's relationship.with Hades and other mythical gods.
This series kept me googled and wanting more. So glad I found it. About to read the short stories and can’t wait to see what happens to Olivia and Theo!
