You must read this series!! The writing was amazing and the sex scenes were some of the best that I’ve read!! The story was sooo good and although it might seem like an everyday kind of read what with the billionaire and ordinary girl theme, but there’s so much more to it. I loved the development of the characters throughout the whole trilogy and that they’ve grown stronger with every obstacle they had to overcome.

This author definitely knows how to write hot and steamy sex scenes that last longer than just one or two pages. And I enjoyed just as much the bickering, playful and funny moments between Maya and Dan.
‘”You do know this is my favorite hobby?” he asks.
“Not knitting?”
He laughs.
“No. Not knitting. Not any more. Driving you insane with pleasure.”
“I’m already there.”’

I was really happy with how this awesome trilogy ended. I grew to love Dan so much. He was still a very much controlling dominant and that would have never changed but he wasn’t as cold anymore and we got to see his soft side as well. He was so caring and attentive. I just loved him.

The Story:
Although she eventually agreed to this fake brake-up, Maya missed Dan already. She can’t wait for this all to be over soon to get back to her life with him. But Boyd is dangerous and as long as they are all in danger, there is just no other way than to play along.

Being away from Dan gets harder with every day and it doesn’t help to have no reassurance that everything’s ok between them. Nagging thoughts come easily and in no time Maya’s questioning if this will have a happy ending.

Thoughts:
This book had its ups and downs. First it started where the second book left off, where Maya and Dan split up. The whole scheme felt kind of weird and I still didn’t understand why they thought this would make Boyd stop.
I was pissed at Clive for breaking up with Lucy as well and I really couldn’t understand how her best friend would to this to her. I couldn’t forgive this so easily.

Gordon was one of my favorite secondary characters in this book. I’d definitely love to read more about him.

Like I mentioned above, this author really knows how to write hot and heavy!! It’s not just wam, bam, thank you ma’am, but slowly built up steam and covered more than just two pages. Let’s just say I absolutely loved the sex scenes! I found myself skipping them in other books recently and was so happy to finally be able to enjoy them so much again. But it wasn’t just all sex in this book. Not at all! But when they got it going on, it was off the charts hot! And all the kink! Oh my. I wanna read this book again even if it’s just for the sex scenes *haha*.

One of my favorite scenes (apart from the sex scenes *wink*) was the one with the napkin/maid. I can’t say more because I don’t want to give anything away but I think you’ll know what I mean when you’ve read the book.
‘”Use the soddin napkin.”’

It was such a fun and unique way to go at this. It felt special and I loved it so much!

This story was an emotional rollercoaster because even though most of the time it was a great and enjoyable read, there were a few times when my emotions went overboard with being angry or happy or on the verge of tears.
‘Dan’s talking to me through music. He’s done it before and he’ll do it again. He loves his woman… and he always will.’

There might have been one or two things that I wasn’t really happy about. Apart from Lucy never being mad at Maya for what happened because of her with Clive, I was not so happy about how slow or fast some things went. The time apart from Maya and Dan was kind of long (I really missed him) whereas when everything went down with Boyd, it was over and done with very quickly. I mean it was suspenseful and kept me on the edge, maybe I read it so fast and it just felt like it but wasn’t at all. I don’t know. Anyway, one or two things happened rather fast and I would have liked a different pace for some of the things that went down. (The sex scenes were perfect though!! They could have gone on and on. I didn’t want them to stop! LOL)

Oh and regarding Boyd. I still don’t understand how Dan, with all his money, friends, security and endless possibilities, wasn’t able to find Boyd even though he was right in front of them the whole time. I just didn’t understand that.

Anyway, I loved that this book didn’t just end and leave me hanging about what the future will bring for the characters because it showed me what lies ahead of them and I was really satisfied with how the story left me feeling in the end. It was definitely a good feeling, that’s all I can tell you. =)

4.5 stars!! What a brilliant ending to this series! On the surface, this seems like the same old trope... wealthy, controlling hero seduces the heroine in the story. However, this was so much more. I loved the series as a whole, but this final book in particular kept me on the edge of my seat. The suspense was quite high, as was the angst (mostly in the beginning) and the the kink factor.

I grew to love Dan throughout the series, but I honestly loved Maya from the start. She was a spirited and feisty heroine that didn't fall for Dan's ways and really him work for her. When all the drama was set aside, she was the perfect side kick for Dan. As a couple, they were hot, but quite funny too. The writing is crisp and flows so nicely and had me laughing throughout with the British humor. I really can't say enough about this series! It's definitely one I could see re-reading when I get a hankering for the genre.

Great ending to the trilogy! Mandy knows how to keep you gripped from cover to cover. This book brings everything to a conclusion and you fall in love with Dan and Maya all over again. There was passion, intrigue, humour, suspense and overall love. At points in the story I wanted to punch Dan but not for long. He has well and truly met his match - the old ball and chain. Well worth the 5 stars. Well done Mandy!

I loved this trilogy so much. Maya and Dan had a beautiful ending to their story.

As you know in book 2 they decided to stay away in order to let Boyd believe that their relationship was over, so Dan could recover in peace and find a way to get rid of that psycopath.

So book 3 begins with Maya being miserable and alone, and her fear and doubts for not knowing what is happening to Dan.
In fact the first 4 chapters are all depressing for the reader too...I couldn't wait for them to finally get in contact with each other.

Their reconcilation will not be easy though...many things look changed, and Maya will even doubt Dan's love for her... so their path will be difficult, but sexy too.
Boyd will still be a threat, but in the end he gets what he deserves.

Maya and Dan finally achive their dream to create their own family and I appreciated reading about their live as husband & wife and as parents in more than one chapter. Their kids were so cute and Dan dealing with them was so funny!

I totally loved this story and I advice it to those who love alpha demaged heros and sassy heroines.

This is the final part of a trilogy - I wasn't too keen on a significant part of the plot in this book... Maya's stalker/abusive ex continues to cause problems so they pretend to have separated while he is found and dealt with. I didn't really understand what this achieved... especially as the only one convinced by this was Maya. Her heartbreak was really well written though...

We get all of the loose ends tied together nicely and overall I was happy with how this trilogy ended.

Although not my usual read, I enjoyed these books a lot. The impact of childhood on the adults we become is a central theme and continues to unravel as the story continues. There is some brilliant humour throughout these books, Maya is really funny and as she and Dan become more comfortable with each other, their shared sense of humour is brilliant.

Wow!

This last book in the trilogy was truly amazing! Mandy Lee did a fantastic job of making you want to keep reading, not wanting to put the book down for anything. As with her previous books in this trilogy, you are absorbed into the world of Dan and Maya, and you go through and feel all the emotions that they are feeling as you are reading. She ties this book up perfectly, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great romance with lots of emotion and struggle, which makes it all the more sweeter in the end. I'm sad that this trilogy is done, but I am very glad that I was able to enjoy it!

Another winner.

Thank you Mandy for a sexy passionate series with great characters and a real story. Maya is a stubborn delight that once in a while one would like to smack. Of course it is those times when real growth and character are addressed. Dan is the man we all would like to learn from. This series is a learning process, obviously, the kinky sex and its final perspective but the human growth from guilt and fear to love and courage.
I would easily recommend this book to anyone open enough and curious enough to contemplate a kinky walk into alternative love stories.

Loved these books

Absolutely loved all 3 books. Very much like the fifty shades books but as much as I loved them ,these are actually better. More story more depth and I think better wrote. Loved the main character s, also loved how the other characters were brought into the story. It's one of a few books that actually made me laugh out loud, and also cry to. Thank you Mandy Lee for bringing Daniel and Maya to us 😊😊😊😊

I really enjoyed this series. It was very British and even though I’m well-versed in British English, as an American and I certainly had to look up some of the words....so besides being a great story with lots of sighs, laughs and suspense, it also provided a great British language education as well! Read this one. It was good!

Very Fifty Shades

But lacked the depth. Still a good read and flowed well. Although no great trauma in Maya's life and could have used a little more insight between Sara and her as well as Sara and Dan. After all kids can be cruel. Found Maya's character lacking and she couldn't keep a secret which led to a lot of their demise.

The story was so good and the sex is steamy buuut I thought the ending was a bit drawn out.
Most of the time the books will end allowing you to make the assumption that they all loved happily ever after and I like that it went into more detail of their life afterwards but I felt like towards the end I was like "c'mon already."
But all in all the series was very good.

Loved it!!

If you like erotic romance , then you will like this book and the trilogy. It rates right up there with the "Bared to You" series. Erotic , but with emotion. Looking forward to more from Ms. Lee.

Daniel foster

Daniel foster is more addictive than Christian grey. Similar story but with less drivel and more action. The characters are more exciting and likeable with a predictable ending.

Dan Foster is a complex man with no time for fun or a private life until he meets Maya Scotton, who turns his world upside down and inside out. Dan has a tragic past, but that’s where he keeps it...but Maya has other ideas... A great trilogy with a few twists and turns
