Royal Scandal #3
Royal Treatment
"Addictive, sexy and beautifully written. I can't get enough. 5 erotic stars" -Vi Keeland, #1 New York Times Bestselling Author on Royal Disaster
All this duke needs is his duchess...
For five blissful months I've been engaged to Dylan Hale, the most handsome, commanding, and wickedly sexy duke in England. For five months I've woken up next to the man I love, indulged in secret trysts, and submitted to every delicious desire. Even better? We've managed to keep it hidden from everyone. That means no paparazzi scandals, no snide comments from Dylan's mother, and no harsh public scrutiny. It's been heaven, but with Dylan's royal responsibilities looming, our time alone is running out. And while I can't wait to be Dylan's wife, I'm terrified that becoming Dylan's duchess might mean losing myself.

Anything to do with royal romances has an inherent appeal. Add good dose of wit and generous amount of sexiness and you’ve got a recipe for an irresistibly fun and enjoyable read. Dylan and Lydia’s story concludes is this royally sweet romantic escape.
In this, the third installment in the Royal Scandal series, the 17th Duke of Abingdon Dylan Hale and Lydia are blissfully relishing their secret engagement. Since only a handful of trusted friends know, Dylan and Lydia only need to worry about how to enjoy each other. There’s no apprehension about media or public scrutiny, no unpleasantness coming from Dylan’s mother. But given Dylan’s very public persona, this small slice of heaven is all about to end and they’re about to face new obstacles in the road.
Lydia is worried that becoming a Duchess will change her life in a way that she’s lose herself, and for that reason is hesitant to announce their forthcoming nuptials to the world. All the while Dylan wanted her to become his as soon as possible, until he realizes that asking Lydia to join his unstable world as it is would be asking her to sacrifice too much and would rather they wait until he manages to put all his dukes… I mean ducks in a row.
So while their responsibilities take them away from each other, Dylan and Lydia need to find a way to work as a team before misunderstandings tear them definitely apart.
Even though I regret not reading the first two books, I was really curious about the series. It took no time at all to be swept up in the deep enduring love and delicious sexiness between Dylan and Lydia. Parker Swift did a wonderful job at recapping the history between them, but I’ll be carving out some time to read Royal Affair and Royal Disaster as I predict this is a trilogy worth reading in its entirety.
Royal Treatment is book #3 in the Royal Scandal series by Parker Swift. It is a standalone contemporary romance with lots of steam, romance, charming characters and a full range of emotions. Told from two points of view with a happy ending.

Royal Treatment (Royal Scandal #3) by Parker Swift
4 stars!!!
What a journey we have been on with Lydia and Dylan over the past three books, a relationship born from one seriously hot encounter, to friendship to more and now a melding of the fashion industry and English aristocracy. After the first two books, we always knew that Lydia and Dylan still had mountains to climb with what was surrounding them in their professional lives, however, one thing never wavered…and that was their love for one and other. Parker Swift delivers the perfect ending to this fairy tale, where love is all that matters and social standings and bank accounts certainly don’t.
While the beginning was a little slow for me I did soon fall back into the lives of Lydia and Dylan. Where meddling mothers are a nightmare as well as inherited dodgy business dealings. Scandal is one thing that needs to be contained and Dylan does everything he can to ensure that his Duchess is nowhere near the fallout. Dylan’s protective qualities come out full force in this book and this man has some of the most swoon worthy and heart melting romantic bones in his body. If you were on the fence before this book, you certainly won’t be afterwards.
This was definitely a book about give and take, compromises, sacrifices and a meeting of minds. The perpetual struggle between professional careers, royal duties and what both Lydia and Dylan truly wanted to do. It is this battle that makes them stronger as a couple and one formidable team that even meddling mothers had no chance to jeopardise.
Both Lydia and Dylan come full circle. Dylan from his non-commitment days to being the most committed of them all and then Lydia’s morph from a nobody to a somebody while not losing sight of who she is. Both Lydia and Dylan take their new life in their stride and only get stronger as they learn to meld together their own individual responsibilities and those that are thrust upon them.
The romance and the emotion was perfect in this book while still totally encapsulating Dylan’s dominant side. The sex scenes were seriously off the charts as in the past book but as this book progresses there is a lot more emotion and tenderness apparent. This was the perfect blend for them and only hammered home just how true their love was, something that this hopeless romantic craves in her reads.
I have absolutely adored this series and cannot wait for more from this author.

ROYAL TREATMENT was like a snow ball rolling down the hill. It started out small but by the end I was completely caught up in the avalanche of emotions, laughing, crying and doing the happy dance right along side the characters. In the beginning, I was pretty leery. I though that both Dylan and Lydia where going down a really bad path to relationship disaster but in the end I loved it.
BLAZING HOT chemistry! Sexy, sweet and fun! Get yourself a cool glass of tea and get ready to just enjoy!
I'm really hoping Swift plans on continuing the side characters' stories!!!
I received this copy of Royal Treatment from Forever (Grand Central Publishing). This is my honest and voluntary review.

I fell in love with these characters and this world of fashion and royalty and I am just not ready to say goodbye to Lydia and Dylan. What started as a sexy, raunchy fun romp with the British aristocracy in Royal Affair ended as so much more. The dominant sex was still there, but it was slowly gave way to romance and undying love, and my heart simply melted for these two.
Having been engaged for months and keeping the true status of their relationship a secret, Lydia and Dylan each struggled with when the right time would be for them to get married. Lydia had her career and Dylan wasn’t sure he was ready to subject Lydia to the restraints that came with an aristocratic title. Coupled with bad advice and assumptions made on the part of both people, a rift occurred which caused both Lydia and Dylan to experience what their lives would be like without the other one in it. And caused me not a little bit of angst reading because I so love these two together and couldn’t wait until they figured everything out.
And when they did, it was beautiful. For a man who started off the series as a “no relationships” kind of guy, Dylan came full circle and showed himself to the be the perfect man. He was sensitive, loving, caring to those around him and willing to make the grandest plans or the smallest gesture to show Lydia how in love with her he was. Sigh.
All three of the Royal Scandal books were amazing and I can see re-reading them over and over again. It had all the elements for a terrific series: erotic sex, romance, smart characters and enough tears and smiles to make anyone watching me read start to question my sanity. I would love to see books for Dylan’s sister, their best friends and Lydia’s coworkers. They are fantastic characters and deserve stories of their own, and I’m not ready to leave Dylan and Lydia’s England just yet. But mainly because it would give me something else of Parker Swift’s to read. Her storytelling is amazing and I’m not nearly ready to be done!

I loved Dylan and Lydia. Perfect conclusion to this series. Review to follow.
Royal Treatment, the final installment in the Royal Scandal series, was absolutely perfect. Like Parkers’ other books in this series, RT is filled with a lot of sexy and sweet elements. I'm really attached to Dylan and Lydia and was bumming that this was the final book until I read the epilogue. I feel like I can say goodbye after seeing their lives five years later. What a great HEA. This series should be read in order to fully appreciate Dylan and Lydia’s all-consuming love story.

5 Royally Amazing Stars!
Royal Treatment picks up 5 months from Disaster Royal Treatment and OMG! Dylan is busy trying to clean up his father's mess while Lydia is trying to adjust to dating a Duke. It has been 5 months since Dylan and Lydia got engaged and Lydia prefers to keep this under-wraps where as Dylan is ready to scream this news from the roof tops. Lydia's biggest fears isn't all the royal duties its how the public and media will portray, which, hell I can't blame her. What normal woman wouldn't be freaked out having every move you make broadcasted to the world?
Can I just say that I am so sad this series is over. I fell in love with Dylan and Lydia from the very first word in Royal Affair. These 2 characters have amazing, hot chemistry that never let up until the very last word of this book. I promise you won't be disappointed, this is the perfect summer vacation read.

I have loved watching not only the relationship between Dylan and Lydia grow and strength but also Lydia's character development. Under the care of Dylan and her friends, Lydia blossoms into the wonderful, capable woman she was destined to be.
Five months on from the end of Royal Disaster and there has been somewhat of a role reversal in attitude where publicly proclaiming their engagement is concerned. Lydia had embraced her anonymity and concentrated on her own goals, advancing her career and spending time with her friends without the risk of the intrusion of the paparazzi. While Dylan is bordering on desperate to stake his claim on Lydia publicly.
I loved seeing more of Dylan's point of view within Royal Treatment asking it easier to understand him and his actions better.
There are still a lot of hurdles for Lydia and Dylan, especially the way in which they are able to balance their respective careers with their personal time and Dylan's duties as a peer of the realm. Events involving meddling mothers, status hungry exes and the ever present media add to the drama for Dylan and Lydia. Not to mention the undercover operation Dylan has agreed to undertake for MI6!!!
Dylan and Lydia have to trust in their relationship in order for it to work, the outside pressures already mentioned test the stability of the ties they have formed. Ultimately, both Dylan and Lydia must believe in each other and the strength of their relationship to withstand whatever life throws at them.
Parker Swift ties up all the loose ends within the plot and does so in such a way as to leave the reader completely satisfied with the events that have transpired. I look forward to seeing what she has in store next ♥

4.5 Royal Stars!
Lydia and Dylan have been engaged for 5 months and they have managed to keep it a secret. After his father’s death, Dylan has become the Duke of Abingdon. He has a lot on his plate, with two companies to run and the duties and constraints of his title. His cooperation with members of MI6 puts additional pressure on his shoulders, but is necessary to save his family pile. His father nearly bankrupted their family company and had dubious connections with the Russian mafia.
Lydia is still afraid she will never fit into Dylan’s life. She is neither a socialite nor a kept woman and doesn’t want to be laden with the trappings of wealth and status. Decisions need to be made, feelings need to be expressed. She wants her next career move to be an asset for their future married life, not a liability. Obviously, they can’t keep everything under wraps and live in their happy bubble for very long anymore. Lydia is aware of Dylan’s difficulties, but she trusts they will figure out the life they both want. Dylan is a reformed bad boy, Lydia has changed his outlook on major life decisions. He is bossy and yet so attentive and caring. I loved Dylan and Lydia together, there is no doubt that these two are soulmates. Their story had its ups and downs, but they always find strength in each other.

This final installment in the Royal Scandal series was the icing on the (wedding) cake. I felt that Parker Swift has given the closure that the characters deserved. This book had everything I love in a romance novel, the emotions, the spark, the swoon worthy moments, the sexy times, the tension and, of course, a perfect happily-ever-after. The story was well paced and a real page turner. The great cast of secondary characters adds warmth to the story, I hope Parker Swift will write their story next. I really enjoyed this author’s flair for vibrant characterization and fluid storytelling. If you enjoy contemporary fairy tales with a twist, highly recommend this trilogy!

This book was great. the right amount of humour, seriousness and romance. Dylan was just as fun and down to earth for a duke as ever. I didn’t like when his mother actually got to him and he was a doof but his came from the heart and his love for Lydia. He did get his head out of the sand with the help of his snarky and adorable sister. Love when she gives it to him. I also loved how he loves her and respects her. IN the end what he did for Emily was just wonderful.
Lydia did at times seem to be waffling on a few things but she did find her way. When she was in NY we saw her really let us know her feelings on where she felt at home. And Dylan also showed us how he saw Lydia in everything and how she could be both London and NY girl without losing herself. When they are in NY we see them both more relaxed and truly just being Dylan and Lydia. They find each other and themselves again. I love his romantic gesture and the bar scene beautiful.
when getting back to England I love the reaction from mom but also how they were a team and partnership. They respected each other and worked together. Their love only grew stronger. Dylan stepped out of his role and followed his heart when it came to Lydia and you cheer them on throughout the book. when Dylan puts himself in danger for his family’s future it was nerve wracking but we see both him and Lydia shine. And that little Emily hint want more that story..
the book is equal parts sexy, passionate, alluring and wonderfully written. You fall in love and become addicted to not only Lydia and Dylan but everyone around them even eventually his mom.

4 Endearing CROWNS
Parker Swift has given readers of the Royal Scandal series such a sweet and endearing ending for Dylan and Lydia. Balancing the demands of their new positions, they get to see these two become stronger together as well as work to get that HEA they have earned throughout the series.
Dylan is still that protective hero we have seen throughout the first two books, and his devotion to Lydia and her happiness continues to be one of the most endearing aspects of his character. Lydia also continues to be the supportive fiance, and readers really get to see how she is willing to do what is best for them as a couple. She, like before, though, will stick to her guns and speak her mind when necessary.
The main aspect of this story centers on Dylan and Lydia learning these new roles they are required to fill. The readers get to see them struggle with the redefinition, but in the end these two make it work for them and find a way to make it all come together. The epilogue is especially sweet, and readers are going to love the little glimpse Parker Swift provides at the end of the book.
This whole series is really enjoyable. From the characters to the story line over the course of the three books, it was an entertaining and lovely read.

Royal Treatment is the final book in the Royal Scandal series. When I received this ARC, I decided to go back and reread the first two books before starting this one. This allowed all three stories to flow together and really added to my enjoyment of the books. By the end of Royal Treatment, I was sad to see Lydia and Dylan go!
The end of Royal Disaster left Lydia and Dylan secretly engaged. They had overcome a lot of the issues addressed in the previous book but there was still the matter of the blackmailer as well as the pressures from Lydia’s growing career and Dylan’s royal duties. These plot points made for plenty of tantalizing drama throughout the book. Lydia’s career actually takes her back to New York, which, coupled with other issues, puts a bit of a strain on their relationship. However, when they are reunited, sweet and steaminess collides!
This was probably my favorite book of the series. I especially liked that parts of this book were told from Dylan’s point of view. This allowed for more insight into his character and definitely added to my reading experience. I loved watching these characters grow over the course of the series and their happily ever after was so satisfying. It’s safe to say that Parker Swift is a new hit author for me! I was lucky enough to meet her at this year’s Romantic Times Convention in Atlanta and she was lovely! I can’t wait for what she writes next! In the meantime, go and read the Royal Scandal series!

This is book 3 in the story of Dylan and Lydia. It's definitely not a standalone, as it picks up after the events in the other books, their first meeting, the beginning of their relationship, and all of the build up is referenced in this book, vaguely, but you need to have read the first 2 in order to really follow.
I was invested enough in Dylan and Lydia to want to know how it ended up for them, although I can say that I thought it was a little too long and the book would have worked better, I think, as a duet.
The emotion, at least for me, felt a little drawn out and like there was not quite enough for them to really have the plot to make it through the 3rd book and the break up, make up and issues started to feel a little like a soap opera...the issue exists because it is the 4th chapter of the 3rd book and not because it really follows a strong story ARC.
I recommend this book, as it is the end of a series and the first 2 books really were engaging, but this one was not as compelling as the others in the series.

I have said and will say it again: If there is one type of novel that I have been obsessed with lately, it is the ROYALTY novels. I absolutely cannot get enough of the HOT and Alpha heroes and the down to earth women who bring them to their knees. I loved Parker Swift's Royal Affair and Royal Disaster and have absolutely loved Royal Treatment. It was such an outstanding novel that was full of heat, heart and had such an addicting story. And BOY WAS IT HOTT!! I could not put it down!
Dylan Hale was absolutely amazing. Throughout the series he has evolved from a Prince Playboy to a devoted man in love. He was so sexy and will blow you mind! This novel was seriously so fantastic. I can't stop thinking about it and I finished it days ago! Lydia was such a great match to Dylan. She was a great combination of sweet and sassy and strength. Her character has gone through a lot from book one and I was so excited to see how she evolved. All in all this was a fantastic series and I could not get enough. I can't wait for the next one from Ms. Swift. 4.5 Stars! ~Ratula
Dylan Hale was absolutely amazing. Throughout the series he has evolved from a Prince Playboy to a devoted man in love. He was so sexy and will blow you mind! This novel was seriously so fantastic. Royal Treatment is book #3 in the Royal Scandal trilogy. I enjoyed the first book, Royal Affair, while I thought the second book, Royal Disaster, was just ok. However, Royal Treatment was a great way to end the series and I enjoyed it!
Dylan and Lydia are engaged, however, it is still a secret. While he wants to make it official and announce it to the world, she wants to keep it a secret for awhile longer. When Lydia decides to go ahead and take the leap to make it official, now Dylan wants to hold off a little longer.
Communication still seems to be an issue between the two. Throw in being a Duke, a woman who is about to be a Duchess, lack of privacy when everyone finds out, work, crazy families and people just always trying to do the opposite of what’s best for Lydia and Dylan, there are bound to be some challenges ahead.
When work throws Lydia a major roadblock, will she and Dylan make it work? What does the future hold for Dylan and Lydia? Will they be able to make their relationship work as Duke and Duchess?
While the two had a tough road, they finally get their happily ever after. The relationship between Dylan and Lydia was spicy and it did stay that way through all three books. The sex scenes were very sexy throughout all three books and it was something that I enjoyed. All in all, the series was good and I feel this was the perfect ending to the story of Dylan and Lydia.

Lydia and Dylan have led readers on a merry chase. This romance has went from the start of something new, to crazy in love quicker, than anyone can say I do. Let's not forget the dangerously in love phase that went from hopelessly devoted secret lovers to brokenhearted ex lovers. More scandalous than any gossip rag, Ms. Swift knows how to leave readers wanting more. Royal Treatment is the ending I've been craving since I embarked on this Royal Affair. Fittingly entitled Royal Treatment, we finally get to the happily ever after. If the bride's cold feet don't make this a Royal Disaster. Parker Swift served up a bewitching tale of a courageous young woman in need of a fresh start and ended up finding the other half of her heart.

Being as this is the third book in a series, I'm not going to talk about anything that happens in the book. Instead I'm going to focus on how blown away I was by this author. I'm simply in awe of Parker's Swift's beautiful writing and deep and thoughtful character development! I still can't believe this debut author came out swinging for her debut with THREE full length novels. I mean, WOW! That is a major feat for anyone, but to do it with so much style, depth and flair? I'm hooked. She absolutely delivered a knockout of a story. It has everything I look for in a book. First of all, super sexy, but as much as I like a naughty book that can't be all there is to the story. You need the feels too. Check! DEEP feels! Add in some mystery, suspense, danger and angst and you've got yourself a gripping and thrilling series that you won't soon forget. I can't wait to see what she writes next! In the meantime, I'm going to recommend this author to anyone and everyone.

Parker Swift ends the Royal Scandal trilogy perfectly for dominant Dylan and business savvy Lydia! Both Dylan and Lydia's careers are thriving on top of the public demands of Dylan's aristocratic duties. Royal Treatment has the suspense, dominant Dylan with his NKR ;) and of course plenty of tabloid drama to interfere in Dylan & Lydia's happily ever after.
I am blown away that this is Parker Swift's first published book trilogy and that she created a page turning series right from the start! I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!!! Thank you Parker for sharing Lydia & Dylan with us!
If you love a cheeky, British, royal romance series pick up these books ASAP! It's bittersweet for me to see this series end, but Royal Treatment is the perfect ending!

The writing of this series seemed to get better and better with each book. Though I had a low rating for the first book in the series, I'm glad I continued to read the remaining two books and saw how Dylan and Lydia's love story culminated.
In Royal Treatment, Dylan and Lydia have already surpassed their mutual struggle in defining their feelings for each other. The only remaining challenge left to their relationship, were all external factors --- Dylan's mom, the public's opinion, and the mystery threat.
I loved how this book progressed as it showed not only Dylan and Lydia's love for each other, but their strength in character. I'm looking forward to more books by this author, and I'm hoping that she writes more contemporary royal romance series.

The Royal series is entertaining. The first book was enjoyable and a fast read, the second one was a little less so but still entertaining, by the third I kind of had enough of the story. Its nice and all but not a storyline for a trilogy.

This was not the best book in the trilogy, but it was totally necessary and tied things up very well. I love Parker Swift's writing style and flair, and Dylan was the exact kind of hero everyone loves to read about. Looking forward to more books from Ms. Swift.

Glad that it's finally over.

Review:
This is the third and last book in the Royal Scandal series. The series follows Lydia and Dylan as they try to build a relationship that is destined to fail. It is a sweet story. It is just about every young girl’s dream to meet and marry prince charming. Although in this series Dylan is not a prince, he is pretty close and part of the royal family. Dylan and Lydia first meet at Dylan’s Canadian estate. Now Lydia is working in London. She is enjoying the entire experience. Her career is taking off coming up with exciting business plans for the designer that she works for. She is building new friendships all the while trying to keep the relationship with Dylan away from the trolling paparazzi. They have been secretly engaged for five months. When pictures of Dylan and the woman that Dylan’s mother wants him to marry are plastered all over the tabloids, Lydia begins to doubt Dylan’s true feelings. When she has to return to New York to open a new store for the designer, Lydia meets an old college friend that works for the New York Times, and once again the media almost breaks the couple apart. Dylan and Lydia have other plans, but he also has to fix all the problems that his father started before he died. Lydia, a very strong and passionate woman is more than up for everything that is thrown at her. The chemistry between these two characters has gotten even more intense. Dylan and Lydia are the perfect match and balance each other well. The pacing is pretty fast. There are still many things going on and the added suspense makes this story so much more exciting. The difference in classes still plays a major part as Dylan’s mother openly shows her disapproval. As mentioned this is the third book in this series. You really need to read this series in order. We do get the expected happy ever after, but we are still left with the question regarding Lydia’s mother.

Royal Treatment, Parker Swift
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Romance,
I loved the first two parts of this trilogy, a story with a domineering - but not in a bullying OTT way - British Duke and an American girl. She's focused on her career, bright, intelligent and it's so refreshing to read a heroine that's not afraid to stand up for herself. Not that she needs to with Dylan, as he's very proud of her work ethic, very supportive of her ambitions.
They've both got demons in their backgrounds though and this book lets the effects of them on them both run free.
I enjoyed the story, but felt after the dramas in the last two novels this was a little low key.
It does a very good wrapping up of past events, finishing off odd little loose ends. I hate when a book finishes and I'm thinking - but hey, what about ....?
I wasn't convinced by the MI6 story-line, I just cant be persuaded that a top intelligence agency would let a civilian get involved to that degree. Then for all that's it brought up through the book when it does happen it kind of is underwhelming...but that's my only minor gripe about this book.
I love seeing things from alternating POV, lets me really get an insight into how the characters are feeling, what they really think.
I loved Dylan's sister, and That was a surprise at the end ;-) Next book maybe?
His mum, I liked her opposition to Lydia, it felt very real, and given how some of these Lineages continue for hundreds of years back that importance parents stress of having the "right" person to marry is genuine, and I'm sure still goes in in many circles. That said I didn't like that way things ended up between her and Lydia, just didn't feel to me as if that would have happened.
This book takes the couple out of England to the US for part of the time and that worked really well, let Dylan see Lydia in her home setting. I loved meeting her dad's old freinds, they felt like Lydia's family.
A huge, massive thank you too, for Parker for releasing these books close enough together that the story remains fresh in the readers mind.
So often there's a year or more between parts and I've simply forgotten exactly what happened. we readers who love books consume huge amounts of them and when trilogies have a similar story-line - and many romance ones do - then its easy to muddle them, forget exactly which one(s) belong to which books. Having to keep checking back to earlier ones t see what happened takes away a lot of the magic.
TBH my favourite way to read trilogies - and series - is to wait until all parts are released and have a total immersion, reading them back to back. That way I get the most from the story, feel the action and emotion as it happens.
Stars: four, a terrific, fresh trilogy with some great characters and plots but that MI6 storyline brings it down a bit for me.

4.5 stars -- I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.
I LOVE it when a series gets better as it goes along! I don't know if it was just me, but I enjoyed this one a lot more than the previous two books, it was a fantastic finale to the trilogy. And I think that surprised me a little, b/c I honestly had no idea how we were going to get a whole other book out of Dylan and Lydia's story, and the previous two had been good, but a bit long and occasionally boring. I honestly can't tell you if I was just in a different mood this time, or it really was better, but we're going to go with the book being better. Benefit of the doubt and all that.
I can honestly say that by this point in the trilogy, I was already in love with Dylan and Lydia. They had the most fantastic banter, I can't tell you how delightful it was to see them sassing each other back and forth. And while they had a highly sexual relationship, I really could see more to their relationship than just that. And I felt like we just got to see more of them together (without just sex) in this book. The thing I loved about this book is that while they hit roadbumps along the way, they weren't drawn out, and I was so proud of them for not taking to long to work things out together. They didn't frustrate me as characters. They still had some growing to do, but I felt like even in all that I could already see how far they'd come together. And so this book gave me ups and downs, but never made me feel anxious or annoyed (which can be hard to do). I was fully invested in their romance and love and was so happy with the way things were resolved along the way.
I loved that we got both Lydia *AND* Dylan's POVs throughout the whole story. I really felt like we got to know Dylan just a bit more that way. And I really did end up loving both characters. But most of all, I LOVED them together. I loved the way they complimented each other. I loved how thoughtful Dylan was of Lydia, and how she showed him how to feel love and learn more about the man he was and who he could be. And I LOVED that Lydia was so strong and challenging to both Dylan and the world in general. I loved that we got to see Lydia's Brooklyn life. I will admit I still kind of wanted to know more about Lydia's mother. It just seems so bizarre to not know anything about her, but that's just me being greedy.
And I was still in love with the secondary characters, particularly Emily and Will in this book. Can we say spin off book? :P
So yeah. Great finale. Love seeing an author develop over time. Surprisingly really appreciated this last story in the trilogy. They've become characters I really enjoyed reading about, I was so happy I stuck with them.

Such an amazing conclusion. I adored everything about this book. I'm not ready to say goodbye to Dylan and Lydia!
Royal Treatment had absolutely everything I love in an amazing book - an epic romance, royalty, super sexy times and some good drama. Not only that, but this book concluded a trilogy, and Parker Swift did so in perfect fashion. Seriously - I couldn't have asked for a better finale to Dylan and Lydia's story.
One would think that Dylan and Lydia have made it through the worst and that, since they're now happily (but secretly) engaged, it should be smooth sailing for them from here on out. I'm glad that's not the case. Don't get me wrong - these two have been through the ringer and totally deserve that elusive HEA. But, it wouldn't be a good story without one more bump in the road, right?
Lydia wants to continue keeping their engagement a secret. For five months, Dylan has given in to her desires, because part of him likes that he still gets her all to himself too. But, after months of attending parties and functions alone and fending off his mother's machinations and the grabby hands of all the socialites, he's getting sick of it. Lydia's perfectly happy remaining in the shadows and continuing to work for Hannah, but eventually she too has an epiphany about going public about their engagement. Unfortunately, she and Dylan just can't seem to get on the same page at the same time about it.
Royal Treatment takes Lydia full circle as she returns to her old stomping grounds of New York City. I loved that feeling of completion in regards to her journey. Two books ago, she started in New York following her father's death. She set out for London on a new adventure, and Dylan has given her that in spades. Now, she's back, but she's different. Her time in London and with Dylan has changed her. That felt right. There's no way she could've gone through everything she's gone through and not come out the other side different. I think Lydia expected New York to feel and look the same, and I was glad when it didn't. I like her in London. It seems she does too.
It was also good to see that, even though Dylan and Lydia are committed to each other and love each other very much, that doesn't mean that they won't fight. They won't always agree and they won't always be on the same page. Their path isn't automatically made smooth just because they decided to get married. There are bumps in the road in Royal Treatment resulting from Lydia's job, Dylan's mother and the sticky situation in which he finds himself thanks to his horrible father. And their ultimate HEA lies beyond them as long as they can work through it together.
Royal Treatment is told in dual POV. Dylan's parts are my absolute favorite. I love hearing how much he loves his woman. Parker Swift knows how to do romance. She also knows how to do sweaty, steamy sexiness. My favorite kind. I absolutely loved this entire series, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that the series ended so perfectly. It was incredibly satisfying and book hangover inducing. That's a good thing.

This was definitely a feel good ending for this series. I mean after all Dylan and Lydia have been through a lot in this series and deserve a feel good ending. Though all is not smooth sailing for them through the whole book, but I was very satisfied with the drama and emotion that were stumbling blocks for them in this book. It is a emotional book while most of the book mad me happy there were some good crying scenes for me. I loved the intimate scenes with Dylan and Lydia, they are still hot even after three books. I have to say I still kept waiting for Lydia's long-lost mother to show up...lol
I loved this series! I would definitely read them in order, just because it is more enjoyable that way. I am curious as to what this Author will be putting out next and will be looking for it.

Review:
This was definitely a feel good ending for this series. I mean after all Dylan and Lydia have been through a lot in this series and deserve a feel good ending. Though all is not smooth sailing for them through the whole book, but I was very satisfied with the drama and emotion that were stumbling blocks for them in this book. It is a emotional book while most of the book mad me happy there were some good crying scenes for me. I loved the intimate scenes with Dylan and Lydia, they are still hot even after three books. I have to say I still kept waiting for Lydia's long-lost mother to show up...lol

I love the royal scandal series! every since the first book came out I have beeN hooked on Lydia and Dylan love story, so when I got the chance to read Royal Treatment the last book early I was thrilled and I dived into this book as soon as I could. In this book we follow Lydia and Dylan while they are engaged and all the drama that is a result of that . I feel like Lydia and Dylan are definitely a strong couple than they where in book 1 and are just more in love than ever , I just loved how matter what was thrown there way they didn't make it stop them from being together. The romance was sexy , swoon worthy and enchanting and I loved every minute of it !. Parker Swift definitely knows how to write excellent romance. Beside the romance there was so much more to this story ,there was never a dull moment and my eyes where just glued to the page . I am very sad that series is ending , there are so many scenes in this series that will replay in my head from time to time just because of how much I adored them , However I could not be happier with they way that Lydia and Dylan story concludes, in away it felt like everything came full circle . I cannot wait to see what Parker Swift will write next ,I just know it will be fantastic .If you are looking of sexy , addicting , swoon worthy contemporary romance then you should definitely pick up this book or if you have not read the other two books this series as soon as you can.

If you've been reading the Royal Scandal series like I have been than you were so excited for Dylan and Lydia to finally get the final installment in their love story. I dove right into Royal Treatment as soon as it hit my device.
So at the start, we find them happily engaged and madly, passionately in love - desperately wanting to move forward towards a future they both want together. But they're both slightly terrified by knowledge that their lives together will also filled with paparazzi, a disapproving mother-in-law and all kinds of unforeseen drama that's waiting to jump out at them at any moment. It makes Lydia incredibly hesitant to announce to the world that she and Dylan are getting married.
For months Dylan hasn't pushed - he understood why she wants to keep some aspects of their lives private. However, when he looks at Lydia, he sees his future and he wants all of the goodness he's feeling to be shared with the world. That is until he hears a few hard truths about someone close to him and it changes his perspective completely.
These two create all kinds of chaos and emotional drama for themselves to overcome before you get to that last page and their happily ever after. It's crazy entertaining and I devoured it all in one sitting.
It's been an incredible journey and I loved my time with this couple. Their story keep me on my toes and happy - I highly recommend checking the Royal Scandal series out.

Genre: Romance - comedy, royalty
Stand-alone: Yes-ish. There's a great round up of what happened in the first two books but it's even better if you've read them
Part of a Series: yes - book 3 of 3 in the Royal Scandal Series
POV: Lydia and Dylan
Steam level: toasty to melt-y
5/5
Royal Treatment Is the perfect end to this series! It was sweet, hot and emotional with the perfect mix of humor to lighten the story. I was enthralled from the start and couldn't put it down. I laughed throughout and bawled like a baby at times. I loved that this book had both Lydia and Dylan's viewpoints. I feel like it added so much to this story. Parker Swift is a fantastic writer and I can't wait to read more from her..
I received this book for free from the author/publisher viaNetGalley and I am voluntarily giving an honest review.

Royal Treatment is a romantic comedy and billionaire romance. It's the conclusion of the Royal Scandal series. The entire series is a fun, enjoyable read. It reminds me a bit of the movie The Prince and Me, which I love!
As in previous books, I found Lydia likable and relatable. Dylan was more likable in this book than he was in book two, but I still found myself getting a little frustrated with him at times. I came to really appreciate Lydia's best friend Daphne. What a great friend! We all need a Daphne!
This was my third book by Parker Swift, and it's also the third and final book in the Royal Scandal series. It's important that you read the series in order. I do think with some content editing, the series could have been one really good novel, but overall I enjoyed this series anyway. I look forward to seeing what Parker Swift writes next.
