Wow what a ending. Why do I feel like that was Ju shooting at Uncle Mur or maybe Roland and Marty. I'm loving me some Half and I feel like him and Aja go great together. Pistol is crazy but I like him for Kenzy. I wonder how Saheem going to feel about Kenzy messing with Pistol. I also feel like Duece feelings are going to be hurt because Aja going to be feeling Half more then him. Hope Uncle Mur pull through and I'm excited to read book 2.

I'm stuck on his cliffhanger. You all didn't have to do me like that. Dee Dee, Roland, Marty, Ju all of them are in sheisty and it's going to get worse before it gets better. I love the friendship that Aja, Yonni, and Kenzy have. Pistol and Half are a handful. I'm ready for part2

I tried
Seriously gave this book to 50% and I just couldnt. So streotypical and nothing creative in this mundane tale. It took me over 2 weeks to get 50%. Too many characters to remember and just unbelievable story lines. Awful.

Awesome read
The drum is everything in this book from the characters to the action mostly all the storyline this point. I love it when the Sevyson people do better you want to see them grow C them make wise choices now with uncle Margo and her nose is going to happen but I'll tell you one thing this is out freaking standing

I really enjoyed this book. I would really like to see Aja and Kenzy make it out the hood they are so much more than around the way girls. I see great things for them in the future with pistol and half. I really like Duece for Aja but we'll see how that goes. Yonni needs to give Ju his walking papers he needs to man up. Now y'all wrong as hell for getting uncle Mur murdered. I don't know how to feel lol

March 22, 2017For some reason I struggled reading this. I never had a problem diving into Karma's books, but this one didn't pull me in like her other reads. I got bored rather quickly reading this. There were alot of grammatical errors as well which is rare for her books. Maybe because its a collab.

A great book so far, but the uncle's name kept going from Murdok, to Murda, which is the reason I gave it 4 stars. I'm hoping that he survives. I really liked Pistol, with Kenzy, but Half and Aja are both so hot-headed, and dysfunctional together. Yonni needs to leave Ju, because he's not any good for her. Chastity needs to let Kane go, and realizes that she deserves so much better.
