Would you still fall if you knew falling would only end in pain?

Women’s basketball phenom, Maggie Martin, accepts Devon’s Make-A-Wish to take her to his senior prom. Coming off a bad, public breakup, mixed with her own shyness, she just wants to get the night over with until she actually meets her prom date who treats her like a normal person. She’s immediately taken with him and falls into easy conversation with Devon and his friends. But when his illness confronts them head on, Maggie is unsure how to react.

Caught in the confusion of her own feelings, Maggie must decide if she’s willing to add another complication to her already overwhelming life, or stop her feelings before they’ve even started.

Erin Butler is lucky enough to have two jobs she truly loves. As a librarian, she gets to work with books all day long, and as an author, Erin uses her active imagination to write the kinds of books she loves to read. Young Adult and New Adult books are her favorites, but she especially fangirls over a sigh-worthy romance.

She lives in Central New York with her very understanding husband, a stepson, and doggie BFF, Maxie. Preferring to spend her time indoors reading or writing, she'll only willingly go outside for chocolate and sunshine--in that order.

Erin is the author of HOW WE LIVED and LAST WISH, contemporary NA novels, and the YA contemporary romance titles, FINDING MR. DARCY: HIGH SCHOOL EDITION and FALLING FOR SHAKESPEARE. It is super insta everything and I actually wish it would have been longer and more detailed, although I probably would be more sad once it ended.
