He’s her good boy gone bad…

Rockstar Ryan Waters has always been the responsible one in his band, Warning Sign. The guy who kept an eye on business while chasing his musical dreams with his best friends. And his closest friend lately just happens to be their tour bus driver, Denver Casey.

Denver Casey is on the run from her past, and she’s careful to stay within her boundaries. Until Ryan becomes her partner in crime and one by one, those boundaries start to crumble. He’s the exact opposite from the guy she’s tried so desperately to leave behind.

Then Ryan turns up missing. And her terror that he’s hurt—or worse—leads to something dark and intoxicating. They both love adrenaline, except this time, the addiction is each other.

Falling for her best friend means putting everything on the line, win or lose. But if her hidden past comes back to haunt them, she might also end up risking her life.

And Ryan’s.

A panty melting hot, absorbing story with lots of feels that kept me turning pages, smiling and swooning from start to finish. Lost Lyric is an excellent addition to this awesome rock romance series.

Ryan Waters and his two best friends pursued their dream to form a rock band. Though having the two of them happily settled and with heart filled eyes has made Ryan the odd man out. That’s OK because he still has his more recent best friend, Denver Casey, to hang out with.

The night she discovers the reason why Ryan has been disappearing solo though, lines get blurred and the attraction that has been building between the two leads them to an exciting intimacy they never would have expected but both very much crave fervor.

Denver had been hiding from her past while driving Warning Sign’s tour bus. She made fast friends with the bunch of misfits, but even when she considers them her family, she’d lied about who she is and has kept her past a secret. Keeping her secret from Ryan however is keeping her from embracing her relationship with him know that if her past comes looking, she’ll not only risk her life but Ryan’s as well.

For those of you who’ve experienced the attractiveness of Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot’s writing you know that scorching hot is their default setting. They’re equally adept at including and balancing sweet and emotional romance with whatever backdrop they’re working with. In their rock romances you’ll get wonderfully rich accounts of concerts, rehearsals and all things music. It’s not something that’s just mentioned, but absolutely explored and described.

Having a music group with seven members introduced right from the get go allows for strong character development. So as the series progresses we get to know and love a particular band member and their love interest but we also see the rest of the gang interact.

Watching Ryan and Denver go from friends to lovers was a delight to see even when the road was a bit bumpy, because while Ryan decided to jump all in, Denver had a difficult time overcoming her past. And while Denver was very clear with Ryan about her stance regarding his extracurricular activities, Ryan is equally persistent in not only exploring their mild sexual D/s compatibility but also wanting everything with her, heart and soul.

Lost Lyric is book #4 in the Found in Oblivion series by Cari Quinn & Tarryn Elliot. It is a scorching hot contemporary rock romance bursting with fun, sexiness and rock goodness. Told from both points of view and ends with a happy ending.

Lost Lyric can be read as a standalone without any missing pieces, but I don’t recommend it. It’s a personal OCD thing with me. I like to know the story behind couples in books and previous couples do play a role in the book. But again, it doesn’t interfere with the journey of Ryan and Denver!

Now about their journey … it’s definitely a good word for their story. These two had intense chemistry from the start, but also a strong friendship. A friendship they didn’t want to lose if they crossed that line and it went badly. So we have the push pull happening for a bit until they cave. I can’t really say that their romantic pairing was a surprise, but their story was full of surprises and loved every one.

This author duo has entertained me for years. They are seamless together. You never know where one voice ends or begins. Ryan and Denver were super hot and sexy together once they threw caution to the wind! They were both characters with flawed back stories which made their journey that much more interesting and intriguing. Neither was perfect and both needed the other to see the good they held inside. Add to all of this a little suspense and you’ve got yourself one heck of a read #TRUST

I received a copy of this book from the authors for an unbiased review.

I wasn't sure how I was going to like a book about Ryan and Denver. I mean, Denver - yeah, she's awesome. But Ryan was a bit of an enigma up until this point. I was pretty sure he wasn't going to be a dick - that spot is already taken by Malachi, but man, the field was wide open. Even a little ways in I still didn't have a handle on him.

Then Denver's inner monologue came. That's when I started to understand what Ryan was about. In fact, I think we learned more about him through Den than we did by hearing stuff straight from the horse's mouth. And I. LOVE. THAT.

My favorite stories are where you get the plot via context, not by reading a rambling narrative. Mind you, if that's written well, it can be good too, but it takes a skilled author to sneak you the details of the plot without handing them to you outright. There were moments in Lost Lyric where the characters came out and told "us" what was happening, but most of the time we learned about things because they unfolded naturally.

Both of the leads had mysterious backstories, although to differing degrees, and they dovetailed together nicely near the end of the book. I say "nicely," even though it was pretty tense and suspenseful - mostly because it didn't take up a lot of time. I liked that the majority of the book was about our couple, and not this backstory that could've made things cluttered and messy.

I have to put this book in the super hot and steamy category, because MAN OH MAN... the scene with the earbuds in the bus... CRAZYTOWN.

And don't worry, there are some cameos from familiar faces. Twisty, surprising cameos. The setup for the next book has me already salivating. Molly isn't my favorite character, in fact, I don't think you could PAY me to hang with her. That being said - if she gets taken down a peg or two by the Professor and the Rock Star, I'm 100% IN!

Lost Lyric was so close to perfect that I had to give it FIVE STARS. I can't wait for Perfect Pitch, so... *grabby hands*

Well, damn, I didn't think I could love Cari & Taryn's rockers anymore than I already do, but I was wrong, because I am absolutely, 200% in love with Ryan and Denver. Even Tris, Randy & Juliet aren't as awesome together as Ryan and Denver in Lost Lyric. Denver is Warning Sign's bus driver, and Ryan's best friend. They've been good until recently when Ryan started disappearing on them. And now, she finds him beat to all hell in a dirty alley. She has no idea what's up with her best friend, but she knows it's nothing good. Can Denver rescue her best friend, and the man she loves, the one she will fall in love with (if she hasn't already)?

The journey Ryan and Denver take from friends to lovers is steamy and sweet with the underpinnings of darkness from secrets of Denver's past coming to haunt them. I think this is possibly Cari and Taryn's sexiest book to date. Ryan is a dirty, dirty man with a hint of kink in his soul and a liking for gentle domination and bondage. Denver is more than his equal in her sexual confidence and her need for someone to control her in the bedroom, but not out of it. And Ryan is just the man for the job. He's not controlling, he loves her, but he doesn't want to control her every thought and move, he just wants her heart (and other fun parts) because he can't get her out of his head.

If you like your rock star romance with steam, and layered, complex characters, Lost Lyric (and all of Cari & Taryn's rock star romances) should be on your Kindle, now! And be on the lookout for Perfect Pitch (Molly's story), because the blurb included at the end of Lost Lyric is hot!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

I'm loving the Warning Sign crew just as much as I did Oblivion. The characters are so diverse and personable.

With Lost Lyric, I learned so much about Ryan's character that I never picked up on in his presence within the previous books. And Denver was such a kickass chick.

Book four in the Found In Oblivion series, Lost Lyric, gives us the friends to lovers romance between Ryan, the Warning Sign percussionist, and Denver, their driver for their current tour.

Since obtaining the driver position; which is a job she takes very seriously, she's grown to care for the band as family. With all the corralling she's been doing lately, it's kind of out her in a motherly position of sorts. But her job is to make sure they get from Point A to Point B on time so she does what she must.

Since some of the band mates are off enjoying their newfound lives in clouds of bliss, Denver and Ryan have become best friends. They've learned each other's quirks and have grown to cherish the relationship they've built.

If you've red West and Lauren's story in the previous book, Dirty Duet, you'd have learned that Ryan's behavior has become quite erratic. While most of the guys are on cloud nine it's up to Denver to worry and keep him on track.

Ryan was one band member that ended up surprising me. His characters was always present in the other books, but I always just saw him as easy going and laid back. It wasn't until reading this book that so much of was pretty well hidden. I never would have imagined the musical genius he was nor had any inkling of his sexual prowess. *fans self* He had a super sexy, dominating side to him that was very well hidden and and nearly incinerated my undies when I got to his and Denver's steamy moments. Geesh! It was hot.

I've enjoyed every book from Found In Oblivion, but Lost Lyric is my first five star rating in the series. The characters and story line delivered the perfect blend of emotion, sexiness with a bit of suspense; which kept me engaged from start to finish. This easily became my favorite of the series.

FAVORITE QUOTES:
“Do you want me?”
Her chest rose and fell faster and her fingers flexed under his.
“Because I want you. I’ve always wanted you.”

“F*ck off, Ry. I’m not some dainty emo chick you have to take care of.”
He dragged her up into his arms. “No, you’re my best friend."

“Not sure what kind of conversation you wanted to have, but if your intent was to make me soak this bed before you touch me, you’re halfway there.”

“Can’t a girl take the initiative?” She swallowed hard as he slid out of her, the echo of his stretching c*ck leaving her lost again. “You didn’t like it?”
“I just came my damn brains out. I’m fairly sure I lost about twenty IQ points with that orgasm.”

Being with Ry had shown her she wasn’t broken. Not even close. Or if she was, he was too, and their cracks fit together and made something beautiful.

REVIEW: LOST LYRIC is the fourth installment in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott’s contemporary, adult FOUND IN OBLIVION erotic, romance series focusing on the rock band Warning Sign. This is rockstar Ryan Waters, and tour bus driver Denver Casey’s story line. The FOUND IN OBLIVION series is a spin off from Quinn and Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION series. Several characters from LIO cross over including band manager Lila Shawcross and record company owner Donovan Lewis. You do not have to have read the other series to follow or understand the events of LOST LYRIC. Lost Lyric can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Ryan and Denver) LOST LYRIC follows the friends to lovers relationship between musician Ryan Waters, and the band’s bus driver Denver Casey. Throughout the series the sexual attraction and energy between our leading couple has been palpable but Denver Casey tries to keep her distance from everyone including the man that calls to her heart. Denver Casey is on the run, hiding from her past, and driving cross country keeps our heroine on the move, all the time. Enter Ryan Waters, musician, best friend, and the man who pushes all of Denver’s buttons. What ensues is the building romance between Denver and Ryan, and the fall out when Denver’s past catches up on the road.

The relationship between Denver and Ryan is a friends to lovers romance. Denver struggles with her attraction to Ryan, a man who battles his own demons throughout the story. Ryan Waters knows Denver is the woman that calls to his heart but her back and forth emotional upheaval continues to send mixed messages to our story line hero. The $ex scenes are intimate and erotic. There are some light BDSM scenes including anal and rope play, toys and spanking.

The world building continues to follow the band on tour towards the ultimate acknowledgement by their friends and fans. Denver’s struggle to keep one step ahead of her past will culminate in a show down between the present and the past with some help from an unlikely source.

All of the members of Warning Sign play secondary and supporting roles including Juliet Reece (Triple Trouble), Michael Shawcross and Chloe Adams (Bedded Bliss), drummer Malachi Shawcross, lead singer Molly McIntire, keyboardist West Reynolds and psychology major Lauren Bryant (Dirty Duet). We are also re-introduced to Lauren’s best friend Professor Ethan Haywood –a man who may or may not have a romantic interest in Molly McIntire. Mal, Molly and Ethan’s story line is next in Perfect Pitch-August 2017.

LOST LYRIC is a story about music, friendship, family and love. The premise is sexy and intoxicating; the characters are spirited, flawed and energetic; the romance is provocative, emotional and intense. LOST LYRIC is a passionate look at one couple fated by circumstance, on the road towards their happily ever after.

Beware once you start this story, you won’t want to put it down. From the opening pages, this book caught and held my attention. Great heartfelt opening to the story that set the cornerstone to how they feel about each other. Once Ryan and Denver have their smoking hot first sexual encounter, I had to keep reading just a few more pages, then just a few more to find out how they would work through complications of keeping their valued friendship, while being secret lovers, and in light of her resistance to more than one night.

All books in the series have serious, heartfelt romances at the core of the steamy, celebrity, rising rockstar moments. I also like how all the band members and their new partners continue to mesh and become a loving extended family group.

These are two of my favourite characters in the series. Denver was feisty and hid her loving heart behind lots of snark and verbal kick butt herding the rambunctious, unruly and emotionally complicated members of the band Warning Sign. Her no-nonsense ‘house mother’ guidance was even more admirable as she kept the band to their schedule, in addition to lending a shoulder to cry on when necessary. As her past was revealed, her strength and skill creating sense and order out of chaos with good humour was even more admirable and demonstrated her ongoing personal growth. This story completes her journey of healing and love remaking her life after fleeing a devastating past.

The more I read about Ryan, the more I liked him. We came to understand a bit that his manic behaviour and gambling habit is rooted in his boredom, due to his very high level of intelligence and competence - he excelled so quickly at so many things, he kept having to find new challenges. It was also fun to get Ryan’s backstory re: his childhood and how he developed his proficiency with so many instruments.

I love Friends to Lovers stories and was impressed with Ryan's constancy when Denver was spooked by her fears, based on her destructive past. I really like how these authors create romantic and devoted male leads who have no doubt when they find ‘The One’ and it is often it is the female who needs convincing they can make it in the long haul. These writers help you believe that 'bad boys' can change when they find the right woman.

Their sexual kinks were not my catnip, but their non-vanilla sex did not trigger me – it felt intimate and hot and so right for them, because he was always working to be the partner that met her kink needs. I really liked that while they were acting out her fantasies during sexual encounters, Ryan addressed consent more than once. He asked her if this was what she wanted several times, and was constantly monitoring if she was still OK with what was happening between them, even if it was rough. I liked his caring sensitivity even if it was not my kink, but some rough sex aspects might be a trigger for some readers. In addition the encounters with her Ex might also be a major trigger for some readers.

It was fun to see characters from earlier books and other series pop in for cameo moments. This series is more like a serial, as all the Band Members from earlier books in the series had an active part in this book. I am hoping for a novella to get the details of their nuptials and am really looking forward to the next book in series.

This book teases other hookups that are occurring that I anticipate will evolve in later books – yea! Final Rating: 4.5 Stars I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Favorite so far!

I read all of the Lost in Oblivion series...LOVED them all. Started reading this series, Found in Oblivion, and am loving this, spin off, I guess is what it is.

This 4th book featuring Ryan Waters, the musical genius, 'jack of all trades' as far as can play anything thrown in front of him AND Warning Sign's independent, secretive, tough as nails tour bus driver, Denver Casey. They are two best friends who have just hit it off and find comfort in each other as many in the band have been coupling off.

What happens when Denver saves her BFF's butt one night after finding him bruised, beat up and bloody in an alley? Ryan begs her to let him hide out somewhere with her for the night so his bandmates don't ask questions. The whole situation has Denver so worked up, she was worried beyond reason when she couldn't find him and then she wanted to kill him when she did! Emotions are running high and tension, sexual tension is in the air for him as he tries to tamp down the feelings he's had for her for so long. Does she feel it as well? She doesn't want to BUT...OMG, Ryan has been hiding a very HOT and extremely sexy alpha side behind the friend zone and now lookout...wow..just wow!

This book is seriously, unbelievably sexy and oh so steamy. Ryan is still sweet but boy can he be the in control, bossy man in charge behind closed doors!

Denver has so much baggage that is alluded to but finding it out is part of the mystery in Lost Lyric. The will he, won't she push and pull adds even more excitement to the story but the twists that come towards the end bring it all together in the best way. A few secrets revealed, a couple tasty tidbits to further tease the backstory on a certain enigmatic Ripper Records exec!

This was my absolute favorite of this particular series so far and I really just basically sat reading it, breaking only to eat dinner, then blasted thru until I just finished it now. Ryan is going to be hard to forget but luckily, I'm sure he'll be around in the rest of the books, so, yay!

I'm going to download book 5 next, maybe I'll sleep sometime! Haha! It's like a very long movie I don't want to see end! I just LOVE these co-authors rockstar themed books! They have a way with words!

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Smoking🔥Hot!

Lost Lyric
Found in Oblivion, Book 4
By: Cari Quinn, Taryn Elliott
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott rock another fantastic novel set in their Oblivion world. I am a huge fan of rockstar romance and love this series and the Oblivion world they created. Each book in this series features a different band member of “Warning Sign” and up and coming rock band. I recommend reading and/or listening to the series in order, not only are the books awesome but you’ll meet the characters along the way and know their back stories as they appear in each others stories. This book is Ryan Water and Denver Casey’s story, the two have become good friends. Ryan is always about his music and instruments, he can play just about anything and brings it on stage. Off stage he likes to have fun, at times maybe too much fun. Denver is the tour bus driver, she has secrets to hide and there is a bit of a mystery to who she is. One night she is worried about Ryan and sets out to look for him, she finds him in an alley badly beaten. Not wanting to face his bandmates they agree to get a room at a hotel and it turns out to be a night of taking their friendship to a whole new level. We learn things about Ryan and some of his abilities at a card table, we also learn he likes a little kink and so does Denver. But Denver is afraid to get too close to anyone so she pushes him away but Ryan does not give up on her. This is a great friends to lovers romance, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Denver’s past comes back in to her life and brings danger with it and her secrets are revealed. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott, thank you for another awesome story I loved every word and minute of it.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are talented narrators and voice artists. They continue to do an amazing job portraying these characters. They have a complete understanding of the characters persona and perform each role with perfection, sounding believable and just as I picture them to sound. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen🎧

Denver Casey is the driver for the band Warning Sign and best friends with band member Ryan Waters. Ryan is the master of instruments and a guy with a pretty big secret he is keeping from the band.

Ryan has always been the guy who is dependable but lately he has gone off the rails and Denver takes it upon herself to help rescue him from what he is going through. Only one night leads to a little bit more and soon the two are crossing the lines of friendship with neither sure where it is headed.

But soon Denver's quietly guarded past comes back to haunt her and puts not only her but Ryan's life in danger as well.

I really enjoyed this book and the "relationship/friendship" between Denver and Ryan. Through the series so far we have gotten to know both of them and I really wanted Denver to get some happiness as I had no idea why she would want to be driving a bus for Warning Sign as an attractive single lady. I knew there had to be a good back story and I definitely wasn't disappointed.

Ryan was always the guy who everyone thought was most stable yet he had this other dark side to him that was struggling and as everyone seemed to find happiness he was left to his own vices. It actually made me mad that no one else noticed what was going on with him.

I loved Ryan and Denver trying to hide their relationship and the scene in the movie theater! I wondered how long it would take for others to notice what was going on between the two of them. There was some difficult times for Denver as she struggled to maintain a difference between Ryan and her ex Marco with some of the things that Ryan would say that would bring her back to her past.

I wasn't surprised with the twist at the end of the book as I new things were going to well. I liked how Denver was able to do what she did to get noticed and get some help! Such a great part of the book!

This is such a great series and I can't wait for the next book!

I'm a HUGE fan of the Lost in Oblivion series so when I heard there was a follow up series I jumped at the chance to read it. Unfortunately I've gotten behind on the series and had to jump to Lost Lyric as soon as it was released. Normally this would bug me but with this book it didn't bother me at all, it just made me want to go back and read 2 & 3 right away. This is definitely part of a series but enough of a stand alone that you can read it out of order and not miss a thing.

The writing in this story was flawless. The plot was engaging from the first page and the sexual chemistry between these two characters was off the charts. You could definitely tell the attraction is something that has been denied for too long. Denver is an amazing character. She's strong, sarcastic, funny, and sweet and she handles the members of Warning Sign like a champ. She is probably one of my favorite characters so far in the series (besides Jazz, cause well, it's Jazz, lol) I fell in love with Ryan instantly and was rooting for him the whole time.

Without posting spoilers, I want to share a favorite scene with you that has stuck with me since finishing this book. The reason it's my favorite? Only because it was seriously melt your panties hot. All I'm going to say is it involved Ryan, Denver, a bus, and music. ;) You'll have to read to find out more!!

I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes Rock star romance but I would also recommend it to those that like characters that are connected and like family. I can absolutely picture ever single one of these characters in real life and if I didn't know better I'd be looking for their music online. They have truly been brought to life on these pages.

Now I'm off to read book #3 so I'm all set for when Perfect Pitch releases. On a side note, I can not wait for Maliki's books, I am seriously intrigued by him.

After 15 books in the related rock and roll romance series from these authors, I've wondered when things might get too familiar, but they've kept my interest throughout and Lost Lyric really distinguished itself. There are so many things I loved about it. The writing seems effortless and it flowed just right for me.

Just like a good sports romance needs to have actual sports scenes for me to feel like I'm in that world, a rock romance needs rock music to go with it. Lost Lyric just really wowed me with this, from the banter on the bus to the excitement of the performance. And the icing on this musical cake were the many mentions of musicians and music that were some of my personal favorites from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

So let's get to the romance. Ryan has some extra curricular activities that have his best friend and bus driver, the gorgeous Denver Casey, a bit concerned and when she has to rescue him from an alley one night. In the process, they both decide to take their friendship to a new level. After a few starts and stops, they finally decide to give a relationship a try. Ryan knows just what Denver needs in the bedroom, and they are scorching hot together. But Denver has a past that she doesn't share with Ryan until it's almost too late. This brings a nice bit of suspense to the story and also brings in one of the characters I'm dying to know more about. Well, make that two characters I want to know more about, because if we don't get a book about Mal soon, I'm gonna cry.

I loved everything about Lost Lyric -- the main and secondary characters, the story, the heat level, and most of all for the love of music that just poured out through this book. My favorite in this series (so far) and one of my 2017 favorites.

Getting Better... Maybe

I haven't really been that into the books in the Found in Oblivion series. All of these series are kind of intertwined, so I feel like I need to read these before the last Lost in Oblivion book and the Rock Revenge books.

This book was a little better than the others. I didn't really care for how Ryan and Denver got together. There was no hint in the other books that the two of them had become such good friends (unless I missed something), so them going from best friends to lovers didn't feel natural.

I did like the little bit of danger and excitement in this book. From whatever secret stuff Ryan was into to Denver's secrets, it kept me guessing. (And now, it has me wondering if there is more to Donovan than we know so far...)

I like Denver (a.k.a. Casey). She's no whiny, wimpy heroine... although she does have what I refer to as a "Super B*tch" moment...a moment when the heroine...who has absolutely no power and no way to save anyone, not even herself...decides that she's going to fix everything all on her own.

Girl, bye. If you had any way to fix or save or do anything else, you wouldn't be in the situation you're in.

So, yeah... aside from that irritating moment, I liked Denver.

I like Ryan and I like the two of them together. I think I really like the way Ryan loves her.

There's something about seeing these guys fall in love. I can't for Malachi's turn.

Just in case you're interested in a reading order for the books in the Oblivion world, there is a list on the authors' website. I didn't read the series about Logan and Izzy, and I didn't read the series about Hammered (although I may go back to that one).

On to the next one...

Lost Lyric is the 4th book in Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott's Found in Oblivion series and the dynamic writing duo continues to wow readers with stories that go well beyond their expectations. The book can definitely be read as a standalone but I do recommend reading all of the books in the series (and the original Lost in Oblivion series) simply because they are all amazing and you are missing out if you haven't done so! With Lost Lyric, Quinn and Elliott bring an element of suspense and mystery to an already established series, giving the readers not only a beautifully sexy story but one that will keep them guessing until the very end. There are secrets and surprises throughout and just when I thought the story was going to go in one direction, it takes a turn in a completely different one. It was perfectly executed making this story one that is not to be missed!

Lost Lyric is a best friends-to-lovers story and I'm a true sucker for this particular trope as it is one of my absolute favorites. Denver and Ryan's friendship and mutual love for one another is evident throughout and as their love story builds, readers will fall right alongside them. Quinn and Elliott are known for their sexy stories and they do not disappoint with this book. It is extremely sexy and steamy...I'm talking incinerate your panties HOT....and written to perfection! With hints of what's to come for the rest of the members of the band, readers will be looking forward to the next book in this series. Do not miss out on Lost Lyric because this one is a masterpiece!

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott always give good rockstars. Though this time their hot rockstar story took an edgy turn that ramped up the sexxy and added a suspenseful twist that kicked up the excitement level an extra notch or three.

It doesn't take long for Warning Sign's master-of-all-instruments, Ryan Waters, and their tour bus driver, Denver Casey, to add benefits to their close friendship. It's supposed to be for only one night, but neither expected such an undeniable passion to erupt between them. One night isn't nearly enough to slake their hunger. Suddenly their time on the road between gigs becomes a lot hotter.

Denver has particular needs that Ryan is a master at fulfilling. I liked that both were so secure in their wants, making no apologies nor expressing no shame. Because of that, their chemistry was explosive.

The mystery was unexpected, with one revelation a total shock that made me gasp. Although I've read this duo often enough I should know by now to expect the unexpected. They're masters at intertwining storylines and creating twists that aren't predictable, which is as aggravating as it's celebrated.

The foundation was laid for at least two future books. Just enough was revealed to make me wanna howl in frustration at the wait, because both have all the hallmarks of being exceptional and leaning more towards the erotic spectrum. Count. Me. In.

Lost Lyric may have started as your typical rockstar story, but it quickly had my heart pounding in excitement-for a couple of reasons. ;)

they've done it again. I don't know how this writing duo keep sucking me in. I feel like I'm riding on this tour bus with this band.
This book is about Ryan and Denver. Ryan is the guy who plays everything on stage and only wants to play with Denver off stage. And Denver is the tour bus driver. she just wants to keep her head down and keep safe. Ryan gets through her defenses slowly but surely.
I loved this pair! They are best friends that spend their downtime together. Denver cares about Ryan to the point where she puts a parental tracking app on his phone. Just to keep tabs on where he is. and Ryan is feeling so much more for Denver than friendship but can't see his life without her if she doesn't want anything more.
So one day, they step over that line together and both their world's explode. they discover they have the same desires in the bedroom and are compatible in every way. and boy, is there some major heat going on. they feel they have to keep it secret from the rest of the band but the band isn't blind. and Denver is running from something. she just can't bring herself to come clean with Ryan.
They support each other so well. When one needs the strength, the other is there. Denver's past does catch up with her, especially with the help of Ryan's gambling habit. but Ryan is not willing to let her go.
Can't wait to see the next instalment with this band. I'm already missing riding the bus with this cast.

This book was sent to me by the authors for a review. Overall I liked this book, even though I was expecting something different, even though I don't know what exactly. For some reason I had a hard time trying to get into the book at first and it had to do with Denver's character. I think maybe because she isn't who I pictured to be in my head. Ryan I had known who he was was from the beginning of this series but with Denver, I just felt like she was kind of sprung onto the scene in that last book. When I think of a bus driver, she is not what I picture. Her past definitely had my interest but when i found out what had really happened, it wasn't as bad as what I thought it would be. As far as Ryan is concerned, even his secretive dealings were not as bad as I was expecting. When Denver and Ryan do get together, the chemistry is there, even though it seems at first to be more from Ryan's side than Denver's. At times with the way Denver would treat Ryan was just wrong but I can also see why she was worried concerning her job. I did like how Ryan informed her uncle that they were dating, it made me laugh. The other developing relationships in the book were interesting and even though Molly's book is next, I can't wait to real Mal's story. By the end of the book, both Denver and Ryan had finally grown on me as a couple and I was not expecting the ending and all it did was make me wish for more.

I love this series and with each book have been drawn more and more into the band and the people who make up its inner circle.
I have always liked Denver since she was introduced in the books. She is a smart no-nonsense girl whose loyalty to those she considers friends is strong, even if she tries to brush it off at times.
Ryan is the guy who has it all. He is sweat, funny, lovable and willing to fight for what he wants and those who he loves. You could definitely see how he was feeling left behind when the two best friends he had moved on and found their "other half". He didn't want to be a third wheel and why he was happy for his friends he was also a little jealous.
The friendship between Ryan and Denver (Colorado as Ryan calls her) is strong. Both find in each other that person who wants to be there for them whenever they need a hand.
As you watch their friendship grow into a relationship you too will cringe at some of the angst that they encounter but you will continue to root for them to succeed. Ryan and Denver need to be completely honest with each other for their beyond friendship to take off but can they really be? I was a little surprised at Denver's secret but I think that is what makes her so kicka$$.
Can't wait to read the next story. Mell and Elle will combust when they get together and they will get together.
I received this ARC for an honest voluntary review.

This Isn't Your Ordinary Friends Turned Lovers...

You would think New York Times Best Selling Authors and ones so established as Quinn and Elliott would already be at the top of their game, and in this case, you would be wrong. This writing duo keeps bringing us better plot lines, even more vivid scenes and continually improves their ability to pull you into their world of music. We are back with our Found In Oblivion band Warning Sign and they are continuing to tour and gain notoriety. As they tour, Ryan, the "jack-of-all-trades", "never-met-an-instrument-he-couldn't-play" has suddenly started disappearing and causing grief for the bands bus driver/babysitter, Denver. Denver and Ryan have always been good friends but circumstances keep them out one night in New York separated from the rest of the band, and suddenly they realize there may be more to them then just friends. Despite being friends for so long, Denver has never discussed her past with Ryan, and could Ryan's recent disappearances be some type of addiction? Not only do we have some of the best sex scenes ever written, there is a level of suspense an danger added to this couples story and it comes together beautifully. If you like rock stars you are missing out big if you aren't reading this duo, and I am so pleasantly thrilled that they do keep getting better and bringing fresh story lines! This is a highly recommended read, and a must read for music lovers!

A solid four stars for the fourth installment in the Found in Oblivion series. (You don't necessarily have to read the previous three to enjoy this book but you really should to get a better idea of the relationships within the group.)

The story opens with Denver, the bands driver, frantically looking for missing all-purpose musician for Warning Sign and her best friend, Ryan Waters. Later that night they find themselves together in a hot and seedy motel and their relationship will never be the same.

While Ryan is ready to take this relationship into the stratosphere, Denver sees too many obstacles in her past and his current behavior to even begin imagining a future. Denver holds her secrets close but her tough-girl front is no match when Ryan is near. His smell, his touch, his breath on her neck, his words in her ear and she's a goner. Still, she holds him at arms length when they are not wrapped around each other.

The push and pull of their incendiary relationship coupled with the languid pace of how the story of Denver's past slowly unfolds keeps you turning the pages. And, as with the previous books in this series, if you are looking for lots of hot, pushing the boundaries of vanilla, sexy scenes, you have found your book.

I would like to have had a little more of an in depth read about the backstory and Denver's relationship with Marco. Still, it as as good a read as you would expect from Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

The writing duo of Quinn and Elliott has done it again by bring us Warning Signs’ music extraordinaire Ryan and their tour bus driver, Denver. Ryan and Denver have formed a friendship some can only dream of and this is why Denver does what any good friend would do when you haven’t shown up back at the bus, she goes looking for you. Denver finds her best friend in a bad part of town in an alley way next to a dumpster terribly beaten up. She doesn’t buy his story of being mugged but then again who is she to talk when she has her own secrets that she keeps. This is when Ryan thinks that there could be much more to their friendship than either of them had thought…but is their special friendship worth ruining to see if what they have could be so much more? Let’s answer that with a hell yes!! Ryan and Denver are smoking up the pages with a chemistry that leaves you needing a cold shower. Is this chemistry enough to get them past the secrets that they have?

This book is everything and more that you can want in a rock romance. Now I have to anxiously wait for the next book to come out just to see where Quinn and Elliott are going to take us with the next member of Warning Signs. If it’s anything like this it sure is going to be a steamy and exciting read.

I received this book as an ARC for a freely given and honest review.

I love Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott. I love their writing and I love the series that they write and this one is no exception!

This is the fourth book in the Found in Oblivion series and focuses on Denver (the group's bus driver) and Ryan (the plays every instrument as part of the band - Warning Sign). Denver and Ryan have become best friends while traveling. Ryan had been disappearing lately and very quiet. One night he seems to be missing and Denver tracks him down. He's been roughed up and found in a dark alley. Denver rescues him and takes him to a hotel for the night to avoid questions by the band. You quickly get to see inside why Ryan was roughed up but you only get hints as to something that Denver is hiding. Ryan is just a lovable character, even with this history there's something about him. He wants Denver and is willing to work for it and take his time, although she wants to keep it a secret but he doesn't. You will definitely enjoy the ride that they go on. Their chemistry is great and they're so sweet and yet HOT together. You can't help but route for them. You can only hope that whatever Denver's hiding won't destroy what they're building. Definitely worth the read and I can't wait to see what's in store for Molly (although I'm secretly dying for Mal's book).

I think it's impossible to not love everything these ladies write. I was a little worried that I had built up the anticipation for this book so much that it might not have been able to stand up to the pressure, but I should know by now not to doubt these two! I loved this book just as much as I hoped I would. I love that Ryan and Denver had a solid friendship before diving into one of the hottest freaking relationships yet! I was only to chapter 3 when I had to take a little break because it was so damn hot I couldn't continue reading in public. I had to wait until I was in the safety of my own home where I could blush freely!
The suspenseful part of the story wasn't dragged out for longer than it needed to be. It had the perfect amount of build up and was resolved in what I felt like was the right amount of time.
My favorite part was the very end, where we get to see Denver, who is normally pretty tough, give in to her softer side for just a minute. I thought it was so sweet and was the perfect way to wrap up the story.
Another amazing book. I'm such a huge fan, and I can't wait for the next one!!

I loved this book! This is the 4th installment of the Found in Oblivion series. It can be read as a standalone but the other books are just as good as this one is! This one is about Ryan Waters and Denver Casey. Ryan is the all around musician in the band. He can play anything he puts his hands on but tends to be a bit scattered. He has always seemed to be the sweet member of the band. But he has some things going on that he won't tell anyone. Denver is the band's tour bus driver and a friend. She is snarky, which I love in a heroine! But you never really know about her background as she is very closemouthed. This book had some unexpected twists that I really didn't see coming. Ryan and Denver start off as best friend's and I love how even after they get together-they are still friend's!! That is the best types of relationships in my opinion! There are very HOT scenes and you will love the twists this book takes. It definitely had some elements of romantic suspense, which I was not expecting but really liked. All in all, a great read! After reading the teaser for Molly's book at the end I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

Lost Lyric is the 4th book in the Found in Oblivion Series. It can be read and absolutely enjoyed as a standalone but I think for a richer reading experience, it's best to read the books in the series in order.

This is a terrific friends to lovers story of Ryan and Denver. They are best friends who play an integral part in the band "Warning Signs" and they always have each other's backs. This is the story of how their friendship developed into more.

As with all Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott books, the characters are well developed, the sex is smoking hot and the story flows nicely. I was able to read this in one sitting and I am so looking forward to the next installment into this series.

A side note: I typically don't listen to music when I read, I'm an 80's hair band girl and don't know much "new" music (I'm ashamed to admit this). There is a reference in this story about a song sung by "Theory of a Deadman". I ended up YouTubing the song and kept auto play on for the rest of the book. I will forever be grateful for Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott turning me on to music I've been missing out on.

Lost Lyric is the fourth title in the Found in Oblivion series, but can be read as a standalone. This title features Ryan and Denver and is a friends to lovers story and is told from a dual point of view.

This pair are quite complex, and both have demons, both in the past and present. Ryan is an enigmatic character who has a lot going on beneath the surface. He's quite a captivating and endearing character, sweet yet dominant. Whilst Denver is snarky, sassy, stubborn and strong, but also has a soft vulnerable side.

A story with strong themes of family, friendship and love. The love scenes are quite sexy and steamy.

I love that the other members of Warning Signs, who appeared in previous books feature so heavily within this story line. The banter between the various characters is fun, flirty and full of humor. Fans of the Lost in Oblivion will notice quite a lot of crossover of characters.

Once again another enjoyable and well written addition to the Found in Oblivion series, that had a few twist and turns I didn't see coming and an element of intrigue and suspense. I will be eagerly anticipating the next title in the series.

Taryn and Cari may not be human. No one can write this many books that are all spectacular and different. Warning Sign, the band, may be a common theme in this theory, but each character has their own 'soul' and what should have been an easy 'best friends into lovers' story is so much more. Ryan, the steady band member who can do anything musical so doesn't shine like a diva, and Denver, the stable, no-nonsense bus driver become one of the hottest couples I know. You understand how they can be best friends especially when surrounded by the chaos of a rock band that's already filled with bigger than life personalities and dreams, but to become epic worthy lovers with a hot factor off the scale.....wow. Then as if the love story wasn't enough, Denver has some baggage that I didn't see coming making the book another layer of awesome. The book is a stand alone within the series so if you're new to the series, you can follow along, but reading the other books will give you more backstory and character depth. I was given an ARC for an honest review. I honestly can say I LOVE this book and that's why I bought a copy. The only regret I have is that it ended.

This fourth installment in the Lost in Oblivion series had me wanting to skip to the end to make sure I was getting my HEA ending. Lots of secrets, twists and turns. Denver, the bus driver, is snarky and smart but something is off and the reader sees this from the first pages where she is looking for Ryan, band member, in an alley in the wee hours of the morning. She says they are best friends but she is praying that he's not dead..... Ryan, once found, takes her to a sleazy rent by the hour hotel because he doesn't want to face the band mates' questions. What was he doing so far away from the rest of the band??
Of course, the best friends label is gone quickly and the sex scenes are very believable, however, not as HOT as previous books. A little bondage, Ryan is definitely a dominant and Denver a submissive, even though she doesn't want to be, but not enough to call this a BDSM book.
The story draws you in because the need to find the answers to all these questions keeps turning the pages.
As the story unfolds, I was a little disappointed that some of the answers were not as in depth as I would have like them to be.
Worth the read- great story.
