Who knew being content was a setup for disaster? One wedding, one pastor, and a whole lot of mishaps... Who knew that she should have passed on those brownies. Or Pastor John would shake their nerves as much as he did. That one turkey wasn’t enough. That’s what Faith had to look forward to, but the real question will be, will she make it to her wedding on time?
I have loved this entire series. I know it technically ended in book 4 and this is just a bonus but it's still sad to be at the end of their story. Luckily it was filled with tons of hilarious moments to help ease the sadness. This book was filled with so many emotions. I laughed, a lot, and I may have teared up a little. I'm so thankful Nikki gave us this last little tidbit of Faith and the guys.
There were a lot of grammatical errors & the books were a bit choppy at times. The story line was OK. Slightly depressed it wasn't a part of unlimited program because I was expecting more from a purchased book. With all that said, I would read the next series but only if it was part of Unlimited program.
"I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own."
Just Married is everything you could want in the final book of a series! I have loved the Faith Series and eagerly anticipated this one. It more than lived up to my expectations. I laughed, I cried, I sighed long dreamy sighs; sometimes all on one page. Nikki Bolvair truly delivered a rewarding finish to Daniel's story.
The guys have proposed, Faith has accepted, now it's time for the wedding. It's not so simple though. Faith isn't the girl who has been planning her wedding since childhood. Pinning her and the guys down for details is tough; there's no venue, no design ideas, no date! They are all just happy to be together. This doesn't work for their families though, so an intervention is held. So much of the preparations, especially the meetings with Pastor John are hilarious. I will never see the word pollination again without giggling.
Tyler, Kayden, Lincoln, and Faith are all wonderful. It's amazing that a relatonship with four people, three siblings could work so well. The individual relationships between Faith and each of her guys is equally special. The dynamics work individually and as a group. They all have a special connection and the attraction is steamy hot. All of these characters are deeply developed, as are all of the supporting characters. The scenes between Faith and Bates and Sonya were adorable and touching. The scenes with Granny were fantastically ridiculous.
Wedding preparations, Thanksgiving, house hunting, new additions, a wedding, honeymoon, final goodbyes, more surprises. This book has it all. In the end Daniels becomes a McGuire. We survived her past, got to be there when she got a second chance at a family and found true loves. Now we get a glimpse into her HEA. So good!
I haven't been so positive about this series, but if I read every single book and I even finished the last one it meant it wasn't so bad deep down. Just Married is, I might say, an extra in the series seeing as how was totally focused on the wedding and it doesn't add anything crucial in the story. It meant to be funny, a light reading. I loved this side of the book, but it was way longer than needed. I would have liked more a novella, because that's what this book is. The distinctive trait of this series was precisely the fact all the books was relatively short and on one hand was a positive trait, on the other hand, the story needed more contents, and it lacks of substance in a way. This book really could have been the other way around, meaning that it would have been perfect if shorter. Great way of ending the series though. I'll probably think about reading other books by this author in the future.
This is the final book of this series and we get the wedding between Daniels and the McGuire brothers. Just Married takes place three years after the previous book. Daniels and her men finally decide on a wedding date after months of getting asked when? by their family members. We get to read about how they have adjusted to life as a foursome. Daniels has become a more self confident woman even though she is still wary of certain people. The author increased the heat when it came to the sex scenes between the main characters and they were hot!!! Many heartfelt scenes that may have caused teary eyes. Great ending!
This book was a mess. The series is right on that edge between YA and new adult, as the characters have gone from 16-20 to now 18-23. And it is a weird edge, because the theme (getting married, having kids etc), is more adult/mature than YA, but the language and the characters maturity is very much YA. In my opinion, if you cant even say «period» or «tampon» etc to your partner (who you are intimate with), you really sound too young to get married. Whats the big hurry anyway and why is everyone pushing them to get married, they havent even finished college or lived away from theirparents or together.
This was the perfect ending to these characters story. However, I wouldn't be opposed for a novella or something where we can see things that happen in the future. This book made me laugh and cry and brought up emotions in me I didn't even know I had. This is just a great series and it seemed like a really quick read to me but that could have just been because of how invested I was with the characters and all that was happening with them. I'm glad this series and in particular this book was written. Everything feels right and there is nothing really left unfinished.
I enjoy reverse harem reads. This series is far different than any I have read before. The brothers bond between themselves made the height of emotion reach rooftops! Daniels was the perfect fit for them. I laughed as much as I cried and there were a few surprises as well. You will definitely enjoy the entire series. Don’t just read book 1!!!
I love the Faith Series. This is the final installment on the series. I like how the start of this book shows how Faith and the guys evade the getting married part. When is the date? It also tells the story of how they meet a pastor. He wants to get to know them and talks to them individually. It is the grand finale of a great series!
Some interesting questions brought up about how this polyam relationship will work, but we didn't spend enough time answering them. I am so bored now that I was hoping for some fun sex scenes, but we don't get much. They totally skipped over their first time too in the last book which annoyed me. Still can't believe how young Faith it.
I received an ARC and absolutely loved this book!! Amazing! I laughed out loud several times. Hot chocolate conversation with Bates was hilarious!! Everything that could go wrong went wrong but in the end it was perfect!! I love these characters and really enjoyed reading their story!!
I’ve probably read this series 4 times now. I love the story, the characters and the writing. I just wish there was more editing done. Will read more from her!!
This book was one of the best ones in the series so far. I gave more detailed things that some of the other books and glossed over so that was really nice overall I really enjoyed reading the series and I can’t wait to read the sixth one
Sweet innocent book, not worth the money. Had potential seriously disappointed. The only redeeming part was the turkey scenes and the ones at the preacher's office.
This is a long epilogue to the previous four books and focussed on Faith's wedding to The McGuire brothers Tyler, Kayden and Lincoln. It's OK and I felt I knew the three brothers a bit better but again there are typos and grammatical errors that frustrated me and I rolled my eyes with the whole episode of buying a pregnancy test and once again there is no build up to pregnancy being a possibility ( no mention of forgotten or split condoms until after all the drama of the possible pregnancy).
I'm sure the issues with Tucker, Vans and Talia will be another story series but it just felt weird and odd. No one has that many dramas in the lead up to their wedding surely!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I have gotten very into reading Reverse Harem novels lately. It's super hard to find decent ones that don't just read like fan fiction. This series is really good though. Both the characters and the story are fully fleshed out and well written. I'm enjoying becoming invested in this world and pleased that I discovered this author.
This was a cute book to finish without any drama at all really. I enjoyed the tease for the next series although i don't think I'll read it, but it was nice to see Faith's story wrapped up in a warm ending.
Just Married is the fifth and likely last book in Nikki Bolvair’s Faith Series. Reading the other books in the series is essential to understand the earlier story and because they are simply that good. In Just Married, Faith Daniels is finally getting married to the three McGuire brothers. Weddings are always chaotic, but typically for Daniels, her wedding appears to be more so.
Nikki Bolvair’s story telling has evolved through the series, amalgamating into an excellent balance of emotional scenes and page turning goodness.
The characters continue to feel real and the humour is written very well and does not feel forced in any way. The essence of the characters and story are also not lost at all with the introduction of new characters and a potential spin-off.
*Spoiler* The book was gripping and particularly made me laugh out loud when Daniels realised she had already sampled Grandma Betty’s spiked brownies and the continued references to pollination throughout the book. *Spoiler end*
Just Married is the perfect, natural conclusion to the Faith Series and I hope us readers will be privileged to see the McGuire’s again in Marissa’s story.
I don't like it when reviews have spoilers in them, so I'm keeping this short and sweet. I cannot believe this is the end of a wonderful series. Nikki has really out done her self with this one. Everybody who has read the series should definitely read this and if you haven't read the series then read them now!
I just loved this series of books and the final installment was the icing on the (wedding) cake!
This book was such a light and easy read and my only complaint was that it was too short!! It was all tied up neatly with a little bow and I loved getting to know the characters again, especially those lovely McGuire boys.
It was full of ups and downs and some hot moments between the main characters.....phew.
Omg was this awesome! I loved this one so much.. It made me laugh and cry and jump up and down like a girl. Love the ending.. Can't wait to tell my friends about it !
I don't like spoiler reviews so this will be short and sweet! this was fantastic nikki! I'm so sad that this the end but so happy with the way it ended! if you haven't read this yet, you absolutely need to!
