Grace left behind the one person she loved most in the world to protect him, and it worked. Jason was unhurt, but her life got much more complicated. Knowing she needed help with the man stalking her, she returned home to ask Jason, desperate to get her life back. She'd known it would be hard facing him again after she'd left, but she hadn't realised how much it would hurt her when he didn't trust her word. Earning his forgiveness would take time, but with her stalker on the loose she wasn't sure how much time she had left.
M.J. Perry is a mother of two, and wife to her very own prince charming. Her favourite things include coffee, chocolate, pizza, and anything Disney. She's an avid reader of romance books and a sucker for a happy ending, which is the reason why she started writing her own stories.
I was ambivalent about writing a review for this book, but felt, as an educator, it was my obligation.
There are some authors (Shalini Boland, for example) that are such wonderful writers their books leave you begging for more. With Her Mistake, however, the writing style, the characters, the plot--were so poor I cannot understand how this novel even managed to get published in the first place Stupid, trivial, with a third-grade understanding of sentence structure and grammar, this novel was a joke. An attempt at being sexually provoking was ludicrous
I recommend NOT reading this one and move on to any of the wonderful authors specializing in the mystery and suspense genres. This was a DISGRACE! Zero stars!
Her Mistake by M.J. Perry is a good, and enjoyable second chance romance read. The story has a good story line, and a good plot. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story has the right elements to keep you reading until the last page with a fast moving plot that intrigues throughout the story. . It's a good story. I wasn't too keen on the 'he's a player, she's a virgin' story-line and of course he's madly jealous of any other man, like he's in a position to talk. But he gets called out on it and it's handled well. There are a good group of friends around which allows for a bit of banter and other perspectives.
loved it !!! love Grace... this is her story.. a fast paced drama... she had everything until, she lost it all... then ran... this is what happened... heart breaking... soul searching... couldn't put it down !!!. The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Grace, Jason and Peter and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with desperation, danger, fear and love. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
She ups and leaves everything that she knew and loved and decided to leave to find herself. She is trying to get back to herself and make sure she is OK for the rest of her life. It is excellent.

This is my first book from this author. It is well written with a great storyline. I love the characters in it and cannot wait for more from this author.
I like stories that keep me awake thinking about the characters as if they were real people. M.J Perry's Her Mistake had all the right elements to keep the reader enthralled long after the last page is read: romance coupled with a fast moving plot that intrigues throughout. All in all, I would recommend this book. Now, I'm onto M.J Perry's Unlikely Love... *excited*
