The first in a series from White Wolf Mountain. Characters from previous series will be paying a visit to Dexter’s pack, but each book is a standalone.
Connor’s back and this time he’s got a lot to deal with in the shape of the misfits and near rogue wolves that are drawn to the mountain as they join Dexter’s pack.
Brody’s first act when he turned up in the sleepy town was to get into a fist fight with a bear shifter at the local bar. Since then he’s been keeping his head down working on his cabin while Connor’s been keeping a watchful eye on him. A trip to town for supplies provides him with more than he was expecting in the shape of witch named Eden. There’s just one problem, his wolf wants out at the scent of her, and he just might not be able to hold the beast in him back.
Eden’s got problems of her own. Running into a wolf mate is the least of them. It’s ingrained in the witch to trust no one, especially vampires, so a chance meeting with a mate and coming face to face with Connor is bound to end in tears for someone… just who?

Another good story by ML Briers to add to my collection. Quick, sexy, & wolfy. Bad vampire is chasing the good witch for what she has. Meanwhile, she finds her mate, Brody.

Not my favorite
Normally I enjoy these books. This one was disappointing because the new mate was so nasty. Couldn't she park like a normal person? Brody should have just rammed her car. It was what she was asking for.

Filled with funnies, love, and hot shifters.
I love shifters and M.L. Briers is one of my favorite authors that right about shifters, witches, and vampires. Brody and Eden have a hilarious beginning but their love for each other is hard and fast.

Loved it
Loved Brody, the newest member to Dexter's pack of misfits. Brody is a wolf on the edge of rogue. The witch he meets in town is just about to push him over. When he realizes she:s his mate, he drags her off to Connor, for her own protection.
Eden is less than thrilled to learn she is a mate. She doesn't exactly hate the idea of a mate, just not now, and no to a near rogue shifter.
Eden is on the run with a precious and potentially dangerous book.
Plenty of zapping, wooing, and snark, vampire and witch. Love this interdiction to Dexter's pack. They practically make Landon's bears look normal. Can't wait for the next book!

Great start to Dexter's Packs series
I loved seeing Brody go from fearing himself to confidence in his wolf. He gained confidence that he did deserve a mate. Eden finally found people who she could trust, especially her mate. Can't wait to see what else happens next.
