Lost Omegas #4

The Alpha's Love

Rate this book
Three years have passed since Ro and Seb mated and they are more than content with their life together. When Raventree Pack calls for trade talks, Sebastian knows Glenoak needs to attend though he's not looking forward to coming face to face with Daniel, his ex. But when Ro is abducted from the talks, it becomes a race against time to find him. And with their bond sorely tested by the separation, and Daniel's attempts to get between them, will things between them be the same?

Byron, Raventree's Alpha successor, is contending with a dying father and renegotiating their Pack's trade agreements. When Glenoak's Omega is taken from their hotel, he knows he must do everything he can to help recover him.

While searching for Ro, he finds Jay, a near-feral Omega captured by traffickers. It becomes clear Jay and Ro have come into contact during their captivity and in order to find Ro, Byron must form a connection with Jay. Easier said than done with a fearful shifter who can't or won't talk. But when the link between them begins to look like something more, Byron must decide if he can be what Jay needs.

The Alpha's Love is an approximately 43,000-word novella with a happy ending and no major cliffhangers. It contains some language, mpreg and intimate scenes not suitable for readers under the age of eighteen. This is the fourth book in the Lost Omegas series and is best enjoyed as part of the series.

My favorite in the series!

I LOVED that we got to read more about Ro and Seb! They are still my favorite couple in this series, and I love that we got to see them 3 years after the first book.

I also loved Jay, I felt horrible for him, and I just loved how Byron was with him when he was rescued. They were just so sweet together. I REALLY REALLY hope that their story also gets a continuation like Ro and Seb did, maybe set a few years later as well?

This series has become a favorite of mine, each story gets better and I love the character and pack dynamics. I can't wait for the next one!

I received an ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book with POVs outside the book's focused couple, and I loved that. This follows Rob +Seb from book 1 and a new couple. I love love loved Jay & Byron 🥰
This was a little steamier than the previous books because it follows the already established couple and the new couple. The new couple's intimacy is no steam, but I can't wait to see it hopefully evolve in the next book 🤞

Shouldn't have done that!

When Ro gets kidnapped things get rough. Buy with the help of Byron and Jay, he is brought home. They find they need each other.

Another Seb and Ro story! My favorite characters in the series. Three years later this Alpha and Omega pair are still so much in love but in this story there is a lot of angst and fear for Ro. And now we meet another pair.
Jay is a feral Omega who doesn’t change to human unless he is forced to. When Ro is kidnapped he finds Jay and together they have to find a way out of the situation they are in.
There are a lot of things that happen to Ro that really don’t add up. Just when you are sure you know who are the bad guys and what’s going on a twist is thrown at you and you start wondering if you are right or not.
I loved this new story, especially with all the twists and turns. There are so many things happenings that seem to be going one way but there may be changes in the story before you finish.
This is a great series with characters to love and plots to follow. One of my favorite series.

Much better than I expected

I honestly wasn't excited to have a continuation of Seb and Ro's story. I liked them in their first story, but I was worried that this would be full of lessons that had to be re-learned, and that much of their growth from before would have been negated.

Luckily that wasn't at all what we got here. Seb and Ro were just as strong as they should be after three years and it was their enemies who underestimated that strength. I also loved that Jay and Byron were able to meet and bond in this book as an additional couple who deepen the new alpha-omega pairings that have begun to show up.

Danger and Babies

The story continues and for the most part, it adds to the saga. There are several points in the storyline which are treated and dismissed too quickly, leaving a few unresolved questions. These are fairly short books and maybe the author tries to cover too much in one book? Book 4 ends well, upbeat, but this reader is left with questions unanswered on some of the story threads.

3.5* This is a well-written series with interesting storylines but so far in the 4 books there is very little passion or intensity and I'm not talking about the sex scenes. The relationships seem to develop more for convenience or saving the omegas at least on the alpha's sides. I would really like some emotional development in the next book. Eager to see what happens with Byron and Jay!

I liked this one best so far, mainly because Alpha Byron was not a jerk or a bully.

The story was interesting and is building up the suspense, but I found as much as I like Ro, I was more interested in Jays story.

I would love another book based solely on Jays story, but I'll settle for him being included in the last 2 books.

I’ve read each book of the Lost Omegas and loved the storyline. My only issue is that I wouldn’t exactly call them romance books. Yes the MC’s eventually get together but their alone times appear more to get the job done, mainly mating and bonding. Where were the sparks, the sensuality the connections?. I kept hoping I would feel more of a connection to each couple as the series progressed. Had the storyline not kept me engaged I probably wouldn’t have read them all. I do hope this isn’t the theme with each of Claire’s books that she has written. I’m loath to find out.

halfsies

Ro and Seb return for another episode, and even if Ro winds up a political pawn, abducted and almost turned over to his birth pack, it’s good to see his growth.

B-side was a feral Omega living as a wolf for almost a decade. Captured, tortured and almost sold off, he managed to find his mate: all the drama here was neglect and learning human behavior all over again.

Great

I really enjoy this series. I hope we get more of Jay's story it felt like a tease and that this book was more of a foundation for plot bunnies. Good read but definitely a stepping stone book.

I enjoyed catching up Ro and Sebastian. Jay and Bryon was a great addition I look forward to their story. This is my favorite book of the series, so far. I love the way the author entwined the new MCs with the first pair of MCs and threw in a really good twist.

Continuation of Seb and Ro's story MPREG

3 stars

This was a continuation of Seb and Ro and the introduction of a new couple. This book feels unfinished. Maybe book 5 will tell more of the new couples story.

Book floors done and an excellent story

This is a great continuation of the story into new areas and different characters. Plus the return of the original characters which I really like so we can see how their lives have progressed. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Things are heating up

This book had a wonderful amount of action, sadness, and sexy. Ro still isn't safe and a new Omega is discovered. Loyalties are questions, new alliances made. There is even new a Family connection found. On to book five!!

Best book of the series so far. Still too short in my opinion, and I would have liked more detail on how Jay learned to assimilate into the human world, but the really liked the budding relationship between him and Byron

This is so far my favourite of them all. And oh when Jay finally spoke, and I mean actually had a conversation, I loved his personality. I hope you see more from him.
