BCC: A Lesbian Romance
Morgan hates her job. She didn’t bust her hump to get an IT certification so she could spend her days reading employee emails. Unfortunately, what the boss says, goes, and he has her on email detail until they find out who's been embezzling.
About the only redeeming feature of working for this company is getting to steal glances at the head of engineering and tech support, Courtney James. What Morgan wouldn’t do for the confidence just to strike up a conversation. Asking Courtney out? Not a chance.
When an email tips her off that the crush is mutual, though, Morgan's torn between making a move and pretending she never saw the message. Her heart and body say to go for it. Her conscience says to leave well enough alone.
The one thing she can’t do, however, is forget about it…
This novella is approximately 20,000 words.

“BCC: A Lesbian Romance” sounded so cute, I bought it despite it being only two hours long (it’s $4.87, not a full credit). OMG am I glad I did!
BCC is funny and sexy…super sexy hot! while being hilariously fun!
MCs Morgan and Courtney are both crushing on each other, and are both nervous to make the first move. But once the move is on…wowza!
The book is from Morgan’s POV, and hearing what she thinks and says is just delightfully fun. Narrator Jordan Scherer does an amazing job with the inner thinking, the dialogue, and oh wow - describing the kissing and bed play!! At first, I thought she sounded too young, but I very quickly grew to enjoy her narration very much. After two hours with her voice she’s now one of my favorite narrators! I can’t believe her only other two books on audible are children’s books!
As short as this book is, other characters have their own personalities, and the embezzlement mystery was done very well - so there’s a real story here besides “you’re hot, let’s go to bed!”.
While the book is probably a good read, I highly recommend “BCC: A Lesbian Romance” as an audiobook! 5*

I wasn't blown away by this but it was an entertaining enough and competently written short read.
Nerdy IT girl discovers the hot woman in the office that she has a crush on feels the same about her. The chemistry between the leads was present. There's a little character development, an erotic interlude, a mystery of sorts, and a couple of twists.
By the end, I had a couple of questions floating in my head but this is a fluff piece that was meant to be short so I didn't take it too seriously.
Both leads had an ex-husband, one is bi-sexual and the other is lesbian.
Okay read if you want a light novella. 3.5 stars

Ok I'll admit the cover definitely caught my attention but it was Kara's review that made me decide to give this a try and i'm really glad I did. A quick read but the author did a great job filling each page with humor, intrigue and seduction. Absolutely give this a try if you're in need of something short, sweet and sexy!

I give 3.5
I give it about 3.5*. Its nothing deep or even detailed but its cute enough. If it wasn't for the embezzlement storyline it really wouldn't have one. I do wish it was longer and more detailed because i kinda liked where the story was going. Regardless, free on kindleUnlimited and a quick read that if youre looking for something simple is right up your alley.

An enjoyable short story
A nice short story about office politics in an IT firm where office romance and criminal activity move in tandem.

“I don’t have to like my job,” I said to the steering wheel. “I just have to do it.”
This was fun! Witty, fast-paced and light. Morgan hates her new job, working in the IT department of a large company, because it's mostly all about monitoring every single email from all of her coworkers, no matter how personal, in order to sniff out someone committing fraud. She hates feeling like she's prying into their lives, but when an email tips her off that her crush on her boss's daughter is requited, she's torn between pretending she never saw it, or using it to make a move. This was short and light, with just the barest hint of intrigue, and a sweet start to a romance. The characters were really likeable and I actually enjoyed that the main conflict of the story was a moral one, with Morgan feeling miserable that she knew so much about her coworkers. And I really like the type of resolution the author chose to go with.

Short but well rounded enough to give a good sense of character. Nothing too challenging or new, but a solid sexy short read.

Short and sweet. I appreciated seeing Morgan wrestle with the ethics here in a way that felt real and rooted in the character's good faith. It was refreshing to see a deception/secrets storyline that was so centered on a real desire for honesty, because as icky as the situation was, I never felt icky about the choices Morgan made.

Short and sweet - as always with Short Stories left certain strands untied, but hey, that goes with the territory. Good enough to check out her back catalogue.

Pretty good!
I enjoy short stories! I loved that this one had a little case to solve. Pretty good for a quick read.

Cute IT romance with a twist!
At first I couldn't figure out the title until I started reading the story then it all made sense. Poor Morgan worked hard to get her IT certification, but when she starts her new job, her duties are only to read every employee's emails because there's an embezzler she's been hired to catch . It's a boring, tedious job and one in which she knows way too much personal information on each person working there so she's afraid to socialize with anyone. What's a nerd like her to do? On the upside, she reads an email from Courtney, the owner's daughter who works there, telling her friend that she'd like to get to know the new IT girl! Courtney doesn't know that Morgan has been crushing on her from afar!

Morgan, a recently hired IT tech, is tasked with reading all the emails sent within the company to find out who is embezzling money from the company all the while she comes face-to-face with the fact that her work crush is also into her.
While I would say there is nothing specifically wrong with this novella, I think it was just okay. It's a good option if you're looking for a short and sweet in-between book.

This was okay. It was too short for the romance to really feel developed, making the ending a HFN rather than a HEA. And the embezzlement plot was also very quickly developed, although it has slightly more room to breathe. I didn’t really connect to either plot or feel particularly strongly about the MC. Overall this was fine and a quick read.

The mouse that squeaked
A shy IT girl gets a hint that she is being hit on but can't reveal how she knows. When a chance of a date crops up, her honesty kills the moment. But sex has a power to find a way to Nirvana and this author has the skill to compute a very horny way to the bedroom.

Good story
This a short, interesting story. Morgan and Courtney are opposites, working in the same place. Morgan had a crush with Courtney since the first time she saw her and she was only the new, shy IT girl until she read the email Courtney sent to her friend....

This was better than the cover suggested
This story was much better than the cover art suggested. It looked like it was going to be heavy, scandalous drama, but it was not, at all.
I look forward to reading more from this author. And the author's counterparts.

A short but fairly good read, but not exciting at all. It was a little boring, really. Why is m/m romance so much more interesting and engaging? Is it the authors or the stories or the sex? I don’t know, but I prefer m/m romance to f/f or even m/f.

A good book to read.
This is wonderful written story. With a very sweet sexy night. And a good bid of drama. And a little bit of humor thrown in. And possibly lovely happy ending. Just to short .❤️❤️❤️

I thought this was a nice read. I liked it because it was short, but not too short, nor was it too abrupt of an ending.

Quick short story that still had a great plot and good character development. Very enjoyable.

3 stars. This was okay. I liked that the main character worked in IT that was cool but as a whole this didn't really do anything for me. It was cute enough but nothing special.

Short, cute, with just enough plot to feel like more than smut. I only wished for a scene actually detailing the embezzler's arrest!

Short, sweet, spicy & read. Nice novella to get back into reading after a little slump. Got straight to the point and wasn’t a lot of unnecessary “fluff” Fun first read for the year

Okay
There wasn't anything about this book that really pulled me in. I didn't feel a connection to the characters or the plot. The writing was okay though.
