Rate this book
Linda Moulton Howe's Emmy Award-winning A Strange Harvest is a TV documentary investigation of bloodless, trackless animal mutilations first broadcast in May 1980 on the Denver CBS station. The phenomenon has persisted around the world to date. By 1989, Linda released her first book,  An Alien Harvest , to document anomalous evidence in animal mutilations, human abductions and government documents that support law enforcement conclusions that "the perpetrators are creatures from outer space."  The 2015 updated and expanded 2nd Edition has more than 200 color and B&W photos, maps, illustrations and documents.

It's probably fair to say "An Alien Harvest" is the definitive book on the bewildering phenomenon of animal mutilations. Are they tied to UFO's? The answer appears to be "yes". Who is in them, and why are they doing it? That's another question, and the answer is not so clear.

It's one of my favourite books, it's written by Linda Howe with an introduction by Jacques Vallee - it appeals to me because I've been told a lot of things by people talking about things they shouldn't've talked about - and the way this fits all those confidances, that is what fascinates me. Not everybody can have that insight into state secrecy, it's just my personal luck, and I'm lucky I'm alive although my mail has been interfered with a lot over more than twenty years. I bought an update version recently, if the reading date looks confusing - it is quite an expensive book to acquire - and I've heard the hardback has begun to go for hundreds of dollars a copy - that certainly does look incredible on your bookshelf - in fact I think nothing has ever looked as good as the hardback copy of An Alien Harvest - pity I lost it, in England on a train.
