That year the city of New York was introduced to professional football by a Giants team that lost its first three games, but finished 8-4. landscape, and many of the game''s great players, have been Giants, including Wellington Mara, Steve Owen, Mel Hein, Vince Lombardi, Frank Gifford, Roosevelt Brown, Y.A. Tittle, Lawrence Taylor and, more recently, Tiki Barber and Michael Strahan. No National Football League team has a richer history than the Giants.

This book is about the New York Giants and the great moments that make this team so historic in sports. I really enjoyed this book being a giants fan and for the fact that in 2009 the giants and jets stadium will close and they will move to a new home to play their game at. So i really liked going back in time almost and recalling all of these great moments that happened. I also like seeing how much history was made during the time that i was a giants and a long time ago before i was even born. i recommend this book to anyone who likes the Giants and wants to know some history about them.
