Great Read
Twyla did her thing yet again dropping another banger. This book was very good from beginning to end. The storyline will definitely hold your interest. I was shocked by a lot of things that happened and things that were revealed. I couldn't stand the games Tay played. He was beyond foul for how he did Shanti! She didn't deserve what he put her through. He was such a liar. I couldn't stand Raven. That was one jealous thirsty trick! She made me so sick and caused plenty of problems. I felt bad for Kya at one point but then my feelings started to change. She not once attempted to reach out to Shanti or accept a call from her, but when it came to Raven that was a different story and said a lot about who she really was. I loved Ahmad. He was everything a girl could wish for. Things are beginning to get very interesting and I can't wait to see what drama is to come in book two!

That ending though! OMG. I can't wait for part two. Kentay about to blow a whole gasket now that he knows Ashanti is feeling another guy...HIS BROTHER. Say what? Now that was a total shock for me. So Blow done finally go what was coming to him. Talk about happy. I can't believe Kya let him do her like that. I guess she truly fell down that rabbit hole, but hopefully she won't go to prison. I was to weak when he pulled out the gold wrapper with nothing to feel it up with. #dead I'm glad that Raven and Tay's baby has turned back up, but that's going to be the nail in the coffin for Ashanti. I can't wait to see this fall out. Question: Did Tay get Ashanti drunk and marry her while they were in Vegas? Why I feel like that bomb is gonna be dropped in part 2? Great job Twyla T. Write fast please.

I loved this book. Kentay loves Ashanti but ended up sending her into the arms of another man. I hated how Kya and Raven pretty much disregarded Ashanti, because she was really a good friend. When she lost her baby I was so sad, but she kinda put herself in that situation when she beat Raven up who deserved that beat down by the way.I'm glad Kya finally killed Blow. When I read the first few chapters in Queens of Urban fiction I knew this book was gonna be lit. I'm ready for part two already. I really don't understand why the hell Kya mad at Ashanti. That saying be careful what you wish for is so true cause Kya was getting just what she wanted by messing with Blow. I kinda knew that eventually everything was gonna hit the fan. My only issue is I thought this would be a stand alone but I guess once the story starts to flow it takes off.

This book is another hot read by this author. She never disappoints. I started reading and was drawn into the story immediately. I really like Ashanti, but she has a real dilemma on her hands. What's a girl to do? Tay is living real foul, but I can see that he has a good heart. I kinda felt bad for Raven, but then again she was trifling and that's what happens she you do what she did. That ending really took me by surprised. It's about to get real.

Great exciting read full of drama! I'm hoping Ashanti can make the right decision on who to choose. Kentay was doing a lil too much. Storyline easy to follow with all types of drama coming from the these characters. This was a fabulous 1st part to the series & I'm so looking forward to reading the next part!

OH EM GEEEE
This book was one I chose for my book club to read. The cover is so far from the norm that it demanded my attention. I had never read a Twyla book before but seen them floating on my timeline for some time... so I decided to take a chance and BABY LET ME TELL YOU!!
Ashanti, Tay and this love rectangle they got going on grabs you and hooks you. And the further into the story you get, the more you don't know how to feel. By the end I was so confused on where my loyalty lies within this relationship it was a shame. My book club discussed the book before I was able to finish it so I heard spoilers and usually that will kill a story for me but not this time. Watching the end unfold page by page was awesome.... and painful lol. Now It's on to part two!!

All I can say is WOW! This was a great book. Tay is a hot mess, but I sure hope that Ashanti can be strong and walk away from him. I definitely see her and Ahmad together. I loved how Twyla handled Blow, but I hope Kya doesn't get caught up. Soo now what happens since Tay has a baby on his doorstep? Can't wait for part 2!!!!

Love it
Author Twyla T has done it again. I loved this book because the setting was very familiar to me. I don't think there is a proper term to describe Kentay. He is just so trifling. Ashanti is young and very naive, especially when it comes to Kentay. Ahmad entered the picture at the right time and made her see a new way of living and a better way of loving. This author brought the drama again. The supporting characters were on point to, but I could have beat Raven's a** myself. The ending was a doozy. I can't wait to see what happens in book two. Great read. I would recommend others to read.

This is my first read by Twyla T and it was a good read. The storyline is on point and I am excited about Part 2. I hope Ashanti is free from Kentay's ratchet behind. Twyla T has done it yet again! I so wanted to mess Kentay, Raven & Blow! Ashanti deserves better and she knows it but the heart wants what it wants even when it's wrong for you. I love Ahmad & Aaliyah. They were just what Ashanti needed in her life. Kyra messed and ended up with a basket case. As the old saying goes everything that looks good to ya ain't good for ya! I kinda enjoyed her & Slick together. I can't wait for part 2 to see justice being served.
