Editor's Review:
Lexi, Nathan and Stacy has had a long and successful journey, which ends in this book. The main question asked in this trilogy is: "If you had the power to avenge yourself... would you?" It sounds like an easy question to answer, but is it?
Lexi and Nathan, our main characters, had been bullied all their lives. They experienced pain and embarrassment. Add their family problems to the mix and we have scarred and troubled teenagers, who felt helpless to change their predicament.
And then they got superpowers. Wow. Talk about temptation. Should we expect them to do the "right" thing? What is right for them, with all their angst and despair? Now they can set things right in their lives. How will they use their powers?
Terminus answers these questions. It's not the usual battle of good and evil. The author shows that morality, that thing inside us that directs our actions, is not black and white. It changes colors, depending on how life shaped us. And who can judge whether the reasoning behind our actions is right or wrong, if they have never walked in our shoes?
Terminus is the final book of The Morium Trilogy, and it's a fascinating and heartbreaking story of two friends who are forced to choose.... Friendship or Revenge?
Highly recommended.
