Dr. ER is a smart, fun, and sexy romance that will make you sing and dance to Shakira, crave blueberry pancakes, and hope for your own dirty-talking good doctor.

One commitment-phobe walks into the ER because of a sex-induced head injury… and walks out with the interest of one ER doctor.

If I adored Will “Dr. OBscene” Cummings, I absolutely fell in love with Scott “Dr. ERotic” Shepard. Scott is a guy who lives life to the fullest. He’s a man who enjoys his job, the limelight the reality show brought him, and once enjoyed the benefits of bachelorhood. Unlike Will who shied away from the notoriety he got as Dr. OBscene, Scott embraced his nickname and the attention it gave him.

He started out as a man who enjoyed no strings attached nights with willing women (which might bite him in the ass one day), but he was laser-focused on Harlow when he started his pursuit. Throughout the story, we see how amazing of a man he is—amazing and passionate with his job as the chief of St. Luke’s ER department, kind, sweet, and amazing in bed. And this man has a tongue on him. Dear lord, this man can talk dirty.

Frances Harlow Paige is a smart, sharp-tongued, and straightforward columnist at GOSSIP, an online and print magazine. When a long-term relationship burned her and left her feeling more than a little lost, she gave up on relationships and protected her heart. She was attracted to Scott the moment she saw him, but she has no interest in pursuing anything other than one night of pleasure. Of course, he becomes more off limits when she starts writing about him in her gossip column.

But Scott proves to be more determined and irresistible than Harlow first thought, and soon enough, she gives in to Dr. ERotic’s charms.

I loved Scott and Harlow’s dynamic, their families, and Scott’s persistent pursuit of winning Harlow’s heart… or at least getting one date with her. Dr. ER was full of witty banter, scenes that made me smile and swoon so hard, and a little bit of drama involving scorned, evil former flames. I wanted to throat punch Brent so much.

And the epilogue. OMG. I can’t. I can’t.

Tropes: Friends with Benefits, Hate to Love(ish)
POV: First, Dual POV
Standalone: Yes

The second book in this adorable & hilarious Doctor Trilogy!
It's a kind of spin-off from the amazing Billionaire Bad Boys series - book #1's hero Will is the brother from the first Billionaire books' heroine Georgie! And Nick (Book #3's Dr. Neuro) is the ex and baby-daddy from book #3's Winnie.☺
You don't need to have read those Billionaire books, but you definitely should!!! They're hilarious and just perfect!
This new series will feature three hottie docs and their lives during/after they stupidly signed on for a TV DOCuseries!

Doc number #2 is Scott. Chief of the ER department in New York's St. Luke's hospital.
The total opposite of his buddy Will, Scott didn't behave like an idiot in front of the cameras! And he loved all the attention he got from the tv-show. He's bathing in female attention and offers - he just loves it. He could do that for the rest of his life. Because he's not one to ever want to have a serious relationship and a white picket fence.
Same for Harlow. She's been hurt before, so now it's blind-dates and tinder-dates. More or less successful ones.
One of the less successful ones ended with her in Scott's ER.
Pot meet kettle! Challenge accepted! Let the games begin! ☺☺☺
Because Harlow is writing a gossip column and the good doctor is just the kind of gossip her boss loves......

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH HARLOW & SCOTT?
WILL THERE BE A HAPPILY EVER AFTER???
BUY THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! ☺

Finally book #2!

And it was just as adorable as the first one!
Hilarious. Cute. Sexy. Perfect!
Scott is your typical god in white with everything that entails. But he's also an amazingly good guy. Kind. Sweet. Amazing bedside manner. But he's also a huge manwhore! And the ladies he's about to entertain know that. He's not a liar. He just doesn't do relationships.
And Harlow....
They had this insta-attraction going...but now she's writing those articles and poor Scott is a tiny little bit mad at her...But of course not for long!
SO EFFING ADORABLE!
I loved every minute watching them argue and fight and flirt their way to their HEA!! I even cried a little bit. ☺

Amazing main characters - amazing supporting cast!
(And by that I mean the parents - and not the most amazing part of the book: the second when our beloved Thatch was allowed to utter 2 sentences! ☺)

Can't wait to read Dr. Nick's story - we didn't much like him in Winnie's book - but I'm sure we'll love him!!!

DR. ER was such an amazing doc-romance! Funny, sexy, adorable - just perfect!
Please run to your nearest amazon for your own Scotty, because this one is MINE! ☺

Max Monroe is a purely entertaining author. COME ON…..if you didn’t like this book it means you aren’t looking for a sexy RomCom.

I watch the Ellen DeGeneres Show and she has actually shown footage of nurses and/or doctors that are dancing and singing while on shift at a hospital so that part was believable to me. I don’t care for cheating in books but OW/OM after they have met BUT before the two main characters get together, doesn’t bother me. There is no commitment there, so I don’t see the problem. I think it is all in personal taste if it bothers you or not and I am not bothered by it.

Scott is dreamy as hell and Harlow is hilarious. It even had some serious angst that hurt my heart. I wasn’t really expecting that level of pain in such a fun & sexy story.

Love to hate him...love to love him.

I think Max Monroe gets a kick out of me making squinty eyes at my fellow train passengers. There's something about these cocky buggers that make me a little cranky. They're so arrogant and full of themselves that I can't help but question whether I can be convinced they'll come good.

Of course, by the end, I'm shaking my head at my silliness. Dr Scott Shepard is amazing, sweet and totally loveable. Harlow is pretty cool too. I kind of get a kick out of a heroine who's the one needing convincing to start a relationship.

I think the male narrator was great. He has a very easy voice to listen to and I never struggled to understand him. Unfortunately, the female narrator was a little less enjoyable. I found her voice a little nasally. I'm not sure if this was due to the character having an accent?

Another great instalment and I will definitely be going on in the future.

There's new release, then there's HOT new relase and this is Dr. ER by Max Monroe! Swear, this duo just keeps getting better and better. When you think they can't topped their previous one, you'll be tongue tied because man, you'll just be disappointed you thought wrong. But I'm sure you're twats will be flapping with glee visible with the creams in your knickers since they slayed it with it's sizzling and scorching doctor. Hot AF, dirty talking and flirt doctor anyone? Yes! Dr. Scott Shepard at your sevice. *wipes drool

Dr. Erotic by Max Monroe is the second book of St. Luke's Docuseries series. Same drill, The Doctor is In reality show then wham bam mixed with a slight twist bringing in the sassy and adorable Harlow in the mix and sure, I had sooo much fun reading it. You just do not know how I missed the characters already after hours ravishing it. Scott and Harlow are easy to love and adore and the moment I met them, I easily got a connection with them. Their chemistry was just so intense it was seeping through the pages. The banters are for real just fun to read I end up smiling a lot and laughing so much but not at them, instead with them. And it's a plus for me! This just means how I am into the book because the hilarity of it was written in class and struck me right there and then without forcing it to my system. They just feel so real and alive that even those hot scnes made me feel hot and bothered! I never thought Scott is the doctor ER with his penchant of all things pussy.

Gah! If only I could just bottle up this man or if he's got a twin doctor of a brother too, I'll be at the ER all the time. Ahhh.. the way he was just describe the author's just made me fell all things great. I swooned with him for eff's sake and I even dreamt of him! Uh..uh.. If only I did not adore Harlow, I might have written a paragraph of how I killed her so I can have Scott for myself instead my ramblings of a review here. But just so you know, I can't do that. I love her character as much as I love Scott's. I just adore a woman like her. Why so? Well, read it for yourself and fins out all the good things about this book and these characters. And oh? The secondary ones? Huh.. I know you will love them too!!

In the end, I will highly recommend this book. First few pages and I was hooked. I was easily drawn to the story becaue it was just flawlessly written, the only thing left for me to do is read and love it. And I did! So much that being done with the book left me with a book hangover. You cannot blame me because everything was written to the point that you live and breathe with it. It might be the second book in the series but it was uniquely written like the first one. It was nothing similar too that made me really in awe with their talent.

To Max Monroe, kudos! Dr.ER is a beautiful journey. It was hilarious, sexy and addicting. I laugh, laugh, and laugh again yet I fell hard with them too. Light on angst, fast paced yet undoubtedly a great read! It's a gem worthy to be treasured.

I'm completely ENCHANTED by every single thing about this book, about this series, and about this  author duo! This light-hearted, hilarious, and sexy as sin romance had me swooning from head to toe. I was absolutely CHARMED by Scott and Harlow! These two were just MAGIC together...PURE ROMANTIC COMEDY MAGIC! I shouldn't be surprised by how much I LOVED book #2 in Max Monroe's St. Lukes Docuseries,  but I am because they stepped up their game even more, and I'm not sure that was even possible!

"You like me, right?"

"Scott..."

"It's an easy question. Do you like me or not?"

"Of course, I like you! I let you stick your dick in me on the regular, as you so eloquently put it."

So, let me just tell you that this book HAD IT ALL! Hilarious moments, sexy moments, romantic moments, and swoony and sweet moments. I couldn't set this baby down, even for a second, which is very typical when I dive into a Max Monroe romance. An ER doctor in his prime and in the limelight and absolutely LOVING all the attention, is brought to his knees by a spitfire of a gossip columnist. I knew this had all of the makings to be an absolute rom-com DELIGHT and let me tell you, it was all that and more!

"It's never enough. When it comes to you, I always want more. I'll never stop wanting more."

A charming, hilarious, and sexy romantic comedy that left me in a beautiful blissful state, I expected nothing less from one of my favorite author duos. I was HOOKED on ever word. I was MESMERIZED by every scene. I was CAPTIVATED and DELIGHTED by these characters. This series of standalones just keeps getting better and better and I can't wait to see was absolute FUN Max Monroe brings to the table in their next installment!

“Complicated. That word had never sounded so good until Harlow.”

Ok I’m not quite sure WHY I didn’t read this one when it came out considering I’d read the other two books in the series when they did... but I’m glad I finally took the time to.

For some reason in Dr. OB I got the impression that Scott was a scandalous jerk of sorts. In Dr. ER we learn he’s a good time guy, and a comittaphobe, but he’s mostly just a great ER Doctor. His love interest is Harlow who is also a comittaphobe, a spitfire, and a good time girl. Harlow wants to stay away from Scott after a funny run in, in his ER, but their parents, who also have a bit of a spark, plot to get them together.

Honestly these two end up being beyond perfect for each other. I figured there would be much more dramatic happenings between these two, but they were honestly just fun to read. Max Monroe throws in a bit of angst, but this relationship is pretty much a fun reluctant build and then a sweet love. I TRULY enjoyed Harlow and Scott’s story!

JFC. Here we go with stupid ass FMCs. That said - the sex was f*cking hot.

Harlow (dumb twat, gossip writer) hates all relationships because of a bad one she was in during college. Because of that, she's sworn off all serious relationships, because that makes TOTAL sense. I mean - if every person gave up on relationships the first time they had a broken heart, then the earth's population would die out within a year!! Anyway.... One night of sex with a stranger lands her in the ER where Dr. Erotic, Scott Shepard (former whore, doctor) gets to stitch her up. Scott chases her around while she tries to avoid him until they finally end up in bed. It's smoldering. Yum. They go about the usual building of the relationships, something crazy happens, they all act like dumb f*cks, then a HEA.

Every time it was Harlow's POV, it was so freaking boring and filled with useless information. Also, I don't need to hear all about a surgery. This does me no good.

Audio - his is good. Her voice for his POV was good. Her voice for Harlow's POV sucked. She sounded like she was high.

Now..... I'll tell you what I hated so much that made me remove most of the stars.

Also, stop your f*cking giggling.

The sex got 2 stars.

5 CROWNS

Love Dr. Erotica. Love Harlow. Love this romance. It has steamy passion with Max Monroe’s signature humor. I couldn’t put it down!

Dr. Erotica is perfect. Unlike the previous book, Scott has embraced his tv persona. He owns it, and he has used it to his advantage. What readers will come to realize, though, is that he really does have a pure heart behind all his philandering ways. Readers get to see how great of doctor he is and how good his intentions are for the hospital and his patients. We always get to see this reformed Playboy when he falls into the arms of Harlow, and these are the moments that I fell in love with him.

Harlow, the gossip columnist, meets the good doctor after being injured in a compromising position, and unlike other girls, she doesn’t fall victim to his charm. She is a complete ball buster, and challenges him verbally every single chance she gets. She is a strong heroine, who, even though works in a less than moral job, keeps her integrity in tact. She is unwilling to compromise her morals. I also like that she comes to life with Scott, but not in a way that she needs. She just learns that it isn’t too late, and that she can really do what she wants with the support of the right people.

Of course, the host of secondary characters is really fantastic. I love the parents and, of course, the cameos from some of my favorite Max Monroe characters. They just also add that extra something to the story.

The chemistry between these two are more than explosive. The chase, the falling in love, the physical and emotional intimacy are all perfect. But what I love the most, what really seals the deal is how both of these characters behave when the climax of the story hits. It could have been epically awful. They could have reacted in an immature fashion, but their behavior, their words really encapsulate everything they are.

Readers are going to love the story line. I thought once the story began I knew where it would go, and it didn’t. It was fantastic to watch these two go on a journey I never even expected, which genuinely made this story so enjoyable. The falling, the conflict, the resolution are all fantastic, and I loved getting to witness these two finally get their happily ever after.

Another insanely hot and enticing book from Max Monroe!

I don't know how they do it, and at this point, I don't even care to know. Because holy mother of God!...each book Max Monroe releases is even BETTER than the last! I'm not kidding.

Dr. ER, Dr. Erotic, Dr. Scottie the Hottie, Dr. Melts-Me-With-His-Smile, or whatever you wanna call him, is just WOW! Unbelievable. Too good to be true. Downright dangerous to a woman's control. I cannot help but keep lamenting on how his character was an absolute riot to read. And Harlow? Yeah...she blew the lid right off the bottle of funny and feisty characters. Their dynamic together was utterly hilarious, witty, and scorching hot!

This book is without a doubt a 5 star must read! And I'm just gonna say it....it passed up Dr. OB in the naughty department, and is quickly edging out Tapping the Billionaire for swoon-worthiness. Sorry not sorry, Kline. Brilliantly written, the story instantly captured my attention. The entertainment factor of this book was top-notch. A passionate connection between two people adamantly against relationships, a sucky columnist job revolving around not-so-true facts, a reality show that brings hundreds (dare I say thousands?) of "admirers", and an overall quirky cast of characters makes this entire story exceptional and unique. You will laugh, you will cringe, and you'll most definite burn up from the heat. No question about it.

So if you fell in love Dr. OB, then get ready...'cause you'll go absolutely crazy for Dr. ER!

Scott Shepard is one of the doctors featured on the reality show, The Doctor is In. While the first subject of the series, Will Cummings (his story was Dr.OBscene) has had a time of it, Scott has toned down his every day habits, keeping his hook ups on the down low so they don't blow up and ruin his image as the cool, confidant, immensely talented head of St. Luke's Hospital's ER department. He's not about to give the gossip lovers anything to talk about.

Frances "Harlow" Paige works for Gossip, a magazine that exposes the juicy side of the rich and famous in New York city. Her job as a columnist for the magazine may not be exactly what she wants but it pays the bills. Harlow's a fun girl-loves men, loves sex. It's a sexual encounter gone bad that brings her to the ER to get a gash on her forehead examined.

"But what if it needs pressure?"
"I'll apply some."
"Promise?" she asked, big mischievous eyes turning doey right before my own. Wow. That's talent.

One magazine article later and the two are connected. Dr ERotic is full of sexy times, hysterical banter, and some gut wrenching angst. Both Harlow and Scott are loveable and do their best to prove to themselves that they aren't in a relationship; this is just friends and sex. Sure... Ladies, get out those kitchen mitts, cause you're going to need them to hold your E-readers!

Me. Happy. In a relationship. Go figure.

This magical writing duo has done it again with the second book in their St. Luke's Docuseries, "Dr. Er."

Let's talk about me for a moment. My husband is out of town for work and we've been separated less than 5 times in 21 years. We don't do well without each other. At all. As an avid reader, I read one book every 1-2 days. Well yesterday I was so depressed about missing my husband that I couldn't even read. I'd try one book... couldn't get into. Would stop and stare at the wall. NOT GOOD. This night owl even went to bed last night at 8pm so I could try to get another day out of the way until I saw my husband again.

But this morning I had a little gift on my Kindle, and it was a blogger ARC of Dr. Er. I'm not going to say that this book was so good I totally forgot I was missing my husband and ignored the kids until I finished it, because that might make me look bad, but it's totally true. No worries, my husband doesn't read my reviews and our kids are old enough to make their own sandwiches anyway.

You GUYS! This book!!! I thought Dr. Will Cummings from the first book in the series was my favorite doctor, but he has been bumped out of my #1 spot by Dr. Scott Shepard! And Harlow... I freaking loved her character! I love smart and witty chicks.

This is yet another 5 star book from the authors that are Max Monroe and if you like humor and steam and well written books that can make you forget your husband of 21 years is out of town, READ THIS!

I was generously provided a copy of this book for an honest review.

4.5 STARS!!!!

Dr. ERotic is one of those romantic comedies I wish I could read again like it’s the first time. I was damn sure I closed my e-reader with a silly grin on my face and I all but whooped because the Max Monroe I knew from the Bad Boy Billionaires series is back with its signature touch.

Who to blame for this killer happiness? Harlow and Dr.Scott. Oh my, this pair just fit so perfectly. Harlow is hands down one of the most chill and drama free heroine I have ever read. Don’t get me wrong she’s not the easy type. She was annoyed by Scott from the get go, which I found different from the typical heroine who got immediately enthralled by the hero. Sure, inside she was swooning but damn if she easily showed it.

Scott had to up his moves just to get a date with this girl. And let me tell you he was smooth, charming and persistent with a touch of douchebagery. Playful and naughty in every sense but I’d more than swooned for his love for his profession.

I loved that Scott and Harlow were collected and easy when it came down to taking their relationship to the next level. Their passion for each other just bloomed naturally even though they have commitment issues. It even became more beautiful with the shit storm they had to go through together. These two were interesting individually but they were even more magnetic together. They owned their personalities and this love story.

The twist half way through was rich and the circumstances were surprising. I also loved the parentals that bring in more heart and balance to its oozing sexiness. There was this premise revolving around Harlow that felt slightly similar to that of Dr. OBscene’s but it’s just a minor dent and didn’t stop me from loving the book.

If you are feeling blue and in need of a feel-good romance then I highly recommend Dr. ERotic by Max Monroe. I promise, Harlow and Scott will slowly grow on you and will have you completely captivated when you reach the end. You’ll have a good laugh with the secondary characters and get touchy feely with the layered story line as well. I even shed a tear or two. How’s that for a romantic comedy?

BXTCHES Gotta Warn: I am so about to shock the shit out of all you BXTCHES and even I can't believe that I'm about to utter type the following, but. . .this book can absolutely be read as a stand-alone. While I loved Dr. OB (book #1) and I highly recommend that you read it, the only thing really tying these two book together is the reality show that the two (and eventually three) doctors become a part of and even that is just a whisper in this story. Other than that, the main ones from the first installment do make some appearances, but it's not enough to take away from Scott, Harlow and any other facet that makes this book so fucking great. So, let's get started, shall we?

Dr. ER will be told through the POV of both Harlow and Scott.

If you skipped straight over the introduction to Will (book #1), no worries, Max Monroe does a good job with a quick hello during the prologue. This is where we also meet Scott Shepard or what he soon becomes known as. . .Dr. ERotic. Now, I'm all about being somewhat of a polite BXTCH, so in case the whole OB/GYN scene wasn't for you or maybe you're just now discovering the genius that is Max Monroe and you decided that this is where you want to start, we are gonna have to play a quick game of catch-up. Will Cummings, Scott Shepard and Nick Raines (coming to us in much greater detail on August 29) have all agreed to allow cameras to follow them around and star in a docuseries. It didn't go too well for Will, but he did get the girl in the end, so all is good. Now it's Dr. Shepard's turn, but I think we should kick things off with Harlow, our feisty leading lady.

Frances Harlow Paige is busy living the single life in NYC. She's got herself a tried and true bestie in Amanda, her parents are happily divorced and she works as a columnist at Gossip magazine, a job she isn't too thrilled about, but does pay the bills. Except for the fact that it's been ages since a dick has put a smile on her face, life ain't too terribly shabby. The needing a dick to put a smile on her face is where we first meet up with Harlow.

Long story short, Harlow needed to get laid, like yesterday, so in her desperation, she agrees to go out on a date with Barron Alexander Conrad III-if someone with a pretentious name like that even knows how to work a cock, I'm gonna need to see it. . .live. Anywho, a vagina that hasn't been well used lately, will suffer through just about anything, because Harlow's goal is definitely one that ends with shouty affirmations to our Lord and Savior, but instead all she gets instead is a gash on the forehead and the shouty words to our Lord and Savior takes on a different tone.

I hope you can see where this story is going, well at least see where part of it is going. After Barron the third passes out, too much blood and all that jazz, Harlow finds herself in the St. Luke's emergency room. Any guess who the head of the ER department and the doctor on duty is?

So far being the star of a reality tv show has its perks, the job is going wonderfully and the women are lining up. . .when he gets the privilege of sewing up one Harlow Paige, his interest had certainly been piqued, too bad hers wasn't.

Columnist for a gossip magazine. . .hot doctor who happens to also be the star of a reality tv show. . .this shit can basically write itself, but considering that it's what Harlow does, then we'll just leave it our leading lady.

Scott doesn't do relationships, a previous bad experience has put Harlow off from making any sort of commitment. . .Harlow gets the inside scoop on one fuckhot doctor and Scott discovers that Dr.ERotic loves a good challenge and the feisty columnist is turning him on like no one previous. . .I mean c'mon this is the shit that great rom-coms are made of.

But don't worry BXTCHES, Max Monroe does throw some drama our way, I mean you can't fuck your way through a chunk of the population and not have some of that broken heart not come back and bite you right in the dick. And, Harlow brings her own set of luggage to the party. So, it's not all fun and games and stitches and dicks, there's gonna be a part of this book that may have your heart dropping a bit.

Besides the ability to tell fantastic stories, Max Monroe is brilliant when it comes to writing supporting characters. The magic was brought to us first in the Billionaire Bad Boys Series and it continues to be the case for this one. Usually when I dive into a series, I can't wait to catch up with the ones that I have already fallen for, but we didn't get that a lot here, it was brief and I wasn't even disappointed. And to be honest, I wouldn't be mad if we were able to get some backstory on the parental units that come from any of these series, that is how well they are written. They are witty, they are hilarious, they are inappropriate, they are loving. . .basically, they are everything one should strive to be when the time comes to shit out some offspring. Every character written to tell this story, played the part and played it well. . .they all helped in making the page turn, while keeping the story captivating.

The sex was good, which if you have already plowed through Kline and Georgia OR Thatch and Cassie OR Wes and Winnie OR Will and Melody, then you know how well the dancing goes down between the sheets in a Max Monroe book, but as crazy as it may sound, my favorite part of the panty melting action in Dr. ER happened to be the dirty talk, I'm a sucker for some words that make the toes curl and those words got used in all the right places.  I'm telling you BXTCHES the dirty word dictionary went to work overtime because they hit right when the time was right.

Lots of couples have been brought to life by the two who call themselves Max Monroe and while I don't know who occupies the top spot (it really just depends on who I'm reading at that moment), I do believe that Scott and Harlow are close to it. In my experience, sometimes it's hard to top the lead off couple in a series, but Max Monroe managed to pull the impossible. . .so now I guess we have to wait and see how hard we fall for Nick.

I think I'm nine books into the fabulousness that is Max Monroe and I have yet to be disappointed. Every page turned, every story told, every character created. . .was worth the time spent. And while I still may not know who Max or Monroe actually are (though I always think I'm starting to figure it out), as long as they keep giving me the humor mixed with great stories and characters that I fall in love with, not to mention the escape they are so kind to bless me with. . .so in a nutshell, I don't give a fuck what you call yourself as long as you continue to call yourselves storytellers.

I have read several of Max Monroe’s books and LOVE her male characters – this book was no exception. Unfortunately, I had a hard time connecting to the female character in this book.

Harlow is a columnist at Gossip, a smut rag. She writes about celebrities and local folks in NY, and has found that her newest topic, Scott Shepard, AKA Dr. Erotic, is very interesting.

Scott Shepard is the head of the ER at St. Luke’s hospital in New York. He is a fun guy and has fun at work. He has a ritual before he starts each shift where he sings (which I found adorable). He’s also appearing (along with Will from book 1) in The Doctor is In, a docu-series airing about three doctors at St. Luke’s. Will didn’t love being in the spotlight, but Scott is LOVING it.

One night at the ER, Scott meets a woman who comes in with a head injury. Turns out she was injured during coitus and cut her head. Turns out the woman is Harlow – though when Scott sees her file, he sees her name as Frances (her first name, which she hates). He doesn’t know who she is, so imagine his surprise when he runs into her while at the theater with his mother (Harlow was with her father). Thus begins their friendship.

Scott makes it known early on he’s interested in Harlow. This is where I kind of lost her. In my opinion, she was kind of a bitch to Scott and made him work REALLY hard for her affection. Harlow had a bad relationship where she “lost herself” and gave up too much (her fault) and was afraid to love again (also her fault). She had been in medical school when everything went down with her ex and she gave that up (her fault). I felt that Harlow used her past relationship to blame the problems in her present, which I didn’t care for. I have to say that Harlow is my least favorite of the women I’ve read by Ms. Monroe so far.

Where I didn’t really like Harlow, I LOVED Scott. He was so fun and funny. He was good to his momma even though she was kind of crazy. He had a great bedside manner and was so incredibly thoughtful (he planned a really amazing date for Harlow, and it was one of the sweetest things I’ve read in a long time). He was much more patient than I think a real guy would have been.

I enjoyed the epilogue in this book and will absolutely read the next book in the series. I would recommend this book – maybe you’ll feel different about Harlow.

Harlow Paige is living her life day to day in a job going nowhere as she had planned to go into medical school and become a Pediatric Nurse/Doctor. Life though chucked bad decisions in her way, and she ended up not only losing her dream and writing for a trashy tabloid gossip magazine but also her confidence took a massive hit after a bad break-up from Brett. Years later, Harlow is trying to get back on the dating scene, and all she wants is to get laid. Her latest date was a boring rich pompous jerk and having sex with him has landed her in the ER room of St Luke's. St Luke's is the hospital which is hosting the latest Doctor Reality TV Show, and Scott Shepard is Dr. ERotic, he is a fun-loving player with no strings attached. That is until he meets his match with Frances Paige, there is just something about her that he can't shake. The day after meeting her, he ends up in the tabloids and a column written by Harlow Paige. At this stage, Scott doesn't put two and two together until a coincidence meeting at the Theatre. Harlow is there with her dad and Scott is there with his mother. One thing leads to another, and their parents hit it off, and Scott discovers Harlow's alter ego. He is not one happy camper. The book moves on, and eventually, the pair started dating, things are going great for them. However, we all have those evil ex-es that love to sabotage us no matter what and in Dr. ERotic - Scott's evil, not quite a go but more friends with benefits gets jealous and sets to ruin not only Harlow's career but also Scot's. Can Harlow prove to Scott that she didn't write that article despite her name on the byline? Or will Scott's reputation and image be too damaged for him to trust another female again? Find out in this awesome read and great series "St Luke's Docuseries' by Max Monroe.

It took me some time to give this a try, because as much as I love this awesome duo's amazing work, Will's story was possibly my least favorite book of theirs.

But oh damn.

I'd say Dr. Erotic was everything, but honestly, it was Scott and Harlow TOGETHER that was everything.

Dr. Scotty boy is goofy, a bit obnoxious and a lot sexy. He's also definitely a player. Not really the super manwhore type, but he loves women and since he works a lot, he loves to let loose. Needless to say he's not a relationship type of guy.
Harlow is a journalist for a crappy gossip magazine, not something she enjoys, but something that pays the bills. Of course, she knows about Scott and the reality show that's making him pretty popular in the city of NY, but it takes a ridiculous a sex accident to get her a first-hand experience of Dr. Erotic and his charm. An experience that inspires a few gossip mag articles about the hot doc and when their paths cross again, the dynamics between them go from irritation and hilarious banter to white-hot chemistry pretty soon.
Neither of them wants a relationship but sometimes love just happens and there's nothing they can do about it.

I LOVED Harlow and Scott together, their chemistry was sizzling and the witty banter between these two was ridiculously entertaining.

So good!

We always get to see this reformed Playboy when he falls into the arms of Harlow.

One magazine article later and the two are connected. Dr ERotic is full of sexy times, hysterical banter, and some gut wrenching angst. Both Harlow and Scott are lovable and do their best to prove to themselves that they aren't in a relationship; this is just friends and sex.

4.5 rounded up to 5 stars!

I needed a book that started with E for a reading challenge, and I found this randomly by a new to me author, and I AM SO GLAD! I'm going to go back and read everything from Max Monroe now, this was so good and different. Scott and Harlow act like adults in this book (why is that so rare?). There is no stupid miscommunication drama, even though there were plenty of places where lesser authors would have thrown it at us over and over again. They talked to each other and had conversations instead of going off the deep end and being idiots. I loved these 2, definitely some of my favorite characters I've read in awhile.

I listened to the audio, the guy was awesome, the girl got on my nerves a little but, but I still really liked it.

I am loving this second series by Max Monroe. This book is just as good as the first which I wasn't expecting after my lukewarm feelings towards Harlow to start with. Once their relationship began, I started liking her. Scott was literally a character and I would have loved to see his start of shift perforance in the ER. I enjoyed the humor and banter between Scott and Harlow. I liked the brief appearance the characters from previous books made in the story. I am looking forward to Dr. Neuro.

This one didn't really do as much for me as the first one. I did like the premise, and the characters, just like the first. However, this one took me a while to read because it was slow and pretty much exactly like the first one.

There should've been differences from the first book. I really liked how they tied some of the first book into the second book, but there were too many similarities for me to thoroughly enjoy it. It felt like I was reading the exact same book as the first, just with different characters.

I think I had a hard time enjoying the characters as well. For some reason, I couldn't get into this one. Scott wasn't one of my favorites. There was something about Scott and Harlow that seemed a little off to me.

This book would've been a 4 or 5 star rating if the book was different. I liked the fact that they brought some of the characters from the first book and made it into a series. However, there are too many similarities for me to enjoy it. Overall, I'd give this one a chance, but don't expect too much.

Dr Erotic is such a fun read! It had me laughing through the entire book! The book held my attention from beginning to end. I was sucked in from the first page! Scott and Harlow are just perfect characters. I loved them.

I can't get enough of Max Monroe books, I love them all. They entertain the crap out of me, they write killer banter, and have characters that I would kill to be besties with. Scott and Harlow are another awesome couple. They played so well off each other that it was another fun read.

I know this was supposed to be a funny, steamy romance -- but I just didn't like the couple at all.

Harlow is kind of disgusting in the beginning, in that she is willing to have sex with a guy she can't stand, just because she hasn't had it for a while? Then she keeps having sex with Scott, when she isn't sure if she likes him? What is romantic about that?

Scott is a womanizing man wh***, and I didn't like him at all. What he does to get the meeting with the mayor at the beginning is just gross . I don't agree with the woman's revenge on him, but I'm actually surprised something like that didn't happen sooner. The way he treated women, like they were just there for his sexual pleasure, was just disgusting. He thinks, at one point, that he really respects women -- but he definitely doesn't act like it.

On top of that, I just didn't believe that Scott and Harlow were in love. They were definitely in lust, but they were both much too shallow and selfish for me to ever believe they would truly fall in love.

I just didn't like this book at all. A romance needs to have a likable couple, but I just did not like Harlow or Scott at all. I truly didn't care if their relationship worked out.

My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
