I was anxious to read Finding Leigh as we were left with a cliffhanger in Catching Cara the previous book. We're immediately drawn back into the chaos of finding Leigh. The author kept the reader interested with different plot twists and turns that I wasn't expecting.

Rick and Leigh have been working together towards a common goal. They are both looking and trying to protect Addie. Addie's been on run for a while and she feels the walls closing in. She's challenging to say the least. I liked this storyline but after all Addie put them through she submitted fairly easily.

Besides working together to catch Addie, the pair has been dealing with their feeling for each other. They aren't going down easily. I think they didn't begin their relationship until the end of the book. I'm ok with the characters waiting however these two have been lusting after each other since book one. I would have liked to see them together sooner.

I liked the series and the continuous plot from one book to the other. As with the all the books in this series, they focus on one couple but the other characters aren't forgotten about. They continued to play a big part in the story.

Love or heartache

Rick Evans is a solitary guy who started Dark Horse Inc. with his buddies from the service and they are doing well.
When Leigh MacDonald is taken by an evil adversary of Rock's he will not stop until he gets her back. She has strong feelings for Rick but he doesn't think he is good enough for her.
Another tailgating tale a good author. Will Rick change his mind about love or will Leigh be hurt by his denying them. A story worth reading.

Cute couple but was wondering if the other two single members of the team will get a book Noah and James. Also was wondering what happened more in Joe's book with the Sheriff and Boyd and his sister they never brought that back up, hinted at Boyd in critical care and that the Sheriff's case was tied-up so they couldn't get to him to get some answers at the end of Joe's book, but they gave the outcome. Also who is the new Sheriff(Joe maybe?) just a few unanswered questions.

Now this book it also had some unanswered questions like was Sutton and his brother Wen okay b/c when the ambulance came Sutton shot Wen and they said he was in critical condition from the lead bullet, and Joe shot Sutton in the heart which they were was fatal, but no one was pronounced dead, So is Wen going to jail even through he was just a tag-along and really had no hand in anything his brother's mess. Or will Rick help his half-brother(Wen) he never got a chance to know?

This book had so many surprises

This book has it all hot x soldiers, rich boys, scandals, horses and a cute little girl who is a survivor. This book was one of those hard to put down books, you just have to know what happens next. I loved that the main characters had to fight their own insecurities before they found they were strong together . This book, has all the drama of a true mini series, I can't wait to read addies story. I love how the abonded horse farm became a home just as a cold heart became whole. I'm so glad him and his dad started to rebuild their lives maybe whren will make it and find a purpose in life, with family the more the merrier.

I only read this because of the little girl. I never cared for Rick and Leigh was pretty one dimensional. All she did was do what she was told. It wasn't until the very end of the book until they actually start having a relationship. He was too much of a jackass to redeem himself in the small amount of time. Leigh didn't even seem like herself anymore.

4 stelle e mezza
Dopo il terrificante cliffhanger del libro precedente non ho potuto aspettare a lungo per leggere questo e non me ne sono pentita. Di sicuro il più bello della serie per cui aggiungo mezza stella di soddisfazione.

Finding Leigh by Amy J Hawthorn is my first read by this author. It started out a little slow for me but as I got into the story I found myself falling for Rick and Leigh. The story flows nice and is an excellent suspense read. I have not read the other books in the series but totally enjoyed this one.
I was given a e-book copy from the author for my honest opinion. Thank you very much for the chance.

For those who have kept up with the Dark Horse Inc. series you will love this book. I totally recommend.

Leigh

I enjoyed this latest book a lot. Rick & Leigh were meant to be together & little Addie was the glue that held them there. I hope it isn't the end of the series.

I loved all 3 books, but

But this had me biting my teeth, happy and crying. I know the book was about Leigh but Addie was the real star in this story.

You have to read it, you will not regret it.

Lighthearted and cute

Loved Leigh, Rick and little Addie's story of funding each other through the danger surrounding their families while pulling together to become a family.
