The Destruction of Jerusalem: A Sign for US of Good News Amid Impending Calamity

Rate this book
Christ linked the destruction of Jerusalem to end-times in Matthew 24. The destruction of Jerusalem is a sign of impending judgment on the US for our moral decay as in Roe v Wade and the Supreme Court's redefining of marriage. God executed judgment on Egypt and took Israel to a covenant marriage. That's the overlooked meaning of Christ's wedding parables that are misunderstood as a rapture. Egypt killed babies; the US has aborted 60 million innocent infants. Egypt enslaved Israel. The US has enslaved most people in some way--alcohol, tobacco, drugs that are a leading cause of death, but we call it healthcare. We call it freedom, but most people have a problem with food, fashion, fiction, gambling, greed, Hollywood, 'music,' sex, perversion, TV, or violence, etc. God judged Egypt and took Israel to a covenant by which they became His kingdom and Bride. The apostle Paul included the Exodus in "all those things happened for our examples...end of the world." God got an ignorant bride at Sinai that worshipped a calf 40 days later. This will not happen this time because the wedding parables have an embedded provision for a pre-nuptional agreement or covenant--7 topics that have a 7-fold emphasis as a mark of end-time truth for the 7 days of biblical weddings that also took a week, Gen 29:27. All the wedding parables have Passover imagery and the wedding feast of Matthew 22 is the Feast of Unleavened Bread at Passover, but it's not about crackers. Christ said, Beware the leaven of the Pharisees--their teachings. Church leaders have leavened the Bread, but in the end-time, the Bride of Christ will covenant to marry Christ with topics that have a 7-fold emphasis, like the statutes and judgments in Ezekiel 20 where they are linked to Sabbaths as a sign of God's people. And yes, the Bride of Christ will be spared the tribulation that will engulf the world, but maybe not by a rapture. The wedding parables offer high reward for readiness that's explained. Christ's Hebrew name, Yeshua, included the meaning of health and salvation. He did not separate them in His ministry and this book's appendix has information that most readers appreciate on health and happiness as a result of obedience to natural and moral laws. This appendix also has something for Catholics, Evangelical Christians, Jews, Muslims, Atheists, etc.

This was short, but gave some insights into teachings in the Bible, including rapture teachings. The question of, is there a rapture according to the Bible? If so, when will it be, before or after the great tribulation? I enjoyed the whole book from start to finish. Also learned a few things. Read it, it’s worth it.

Very good book written from the perspective of looking at the end times through scripture and comparing it to present day events. This is a great, quick read (less than 100 pages). With very pertinent examples. Although a few years old (2017), you can still learn a lot from reading this book.
