500 copies of this early Bukowski were "printed" and stapled together. It consists of 12 autobiographical vignettes told simply.
Reading this puts you in the mind of a downtrodden self-abusing impoverished alcoholic poet.
Not bad.
Read this + any other longer Bukowski book + 1 volume of his poetry, and then watch his movie, "Barfly" (Micky Roarke and Faye Dunaway).
You will then understand Bukowski.
