Chelsea Moore took the deal and signed the agreement. She was supposed to be assigned to a lobbyist. He was supposed to be a stranger. Of course, life doesn't usually go the way it is supposed to go.
Instead of spending a year of her life investigating a stranger, Chelsea is stuck. Her new client isn't a stranger. It's her best friend's ex-boyfriend. He is the son of the devil and she is the sacrificial lamb.
To escape his entrapment, Chelsea will have to be cunning, use deception, and commit to a year of fidelity. Most importantly, she will have to convince her best friend that it wasn't a betrayal - it was a sacrifice.
What an amazing addition to the Infidelity series by Aleatha Romig. Aleatha opened up her story to Kindle Worlds and allowed authors to write their own books (novellas) around her characters and story. This is Rae Riley's take on Chelsea's story...and it is her first published book. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the writing. We follow Chelsea from the time she signs her agreement with Fidelity through...well, I won't spoil it. I'll be the first to admit that Chelsea was not my favorite character from the series, but I was won over in this book. Yes, Rae Riley made me a fan of Chelsea and gave me a glimpse into her thoughts, motivations, and the hell she went through all in the name of Sacrifice. I recommend this story (and all the others in this Kindle World series) for anyone who just can't get enough of the world of Infidelity!
WOW! What a fabulous integration into the Infidelity world! Chelsea's story (in her perspective) was exactly as I'd hoped it would be and I'm so glad one of these Novellas featured her.
And Isaac...can we say Bodyguard flashbacks? I kind of love him and now have a mix of Kevin Coster and Jason Statham as a visual.
Their chemistry and relationship development was a great one to see...even if I had to wait until the end.
But what I loved the most was how smart Chelsea actually is. And how much she truly loves Alex...friendship like that is hard to find. The sacrifices she made for her friend is above and beyond.
Warning: May have triggers for some of sexual violence.
I wondered if i would get to read Chelsea's story and this is it and i loved it, Byrce needs a punch to the junk the a-hole what a mean vile excuse for a man! great story i loved it and it tied in very well into the world Issac can be my bodyguard any day he wants
Would Issac Be My Book Boyfriend ? Hell Yes he is my book husband MINE #CLAIMED
I'd have to say the first 50% didn't really add anything new for me. Even though this was Chelsea's pov from the original infidelity world books only a small fraction was new. I almost felt like I was reading something I already had read.
Wow! This really felt like I was back in Aleatha's Infidelity world. This book takes place at the moment Chelsea signs her agreement with Infidelity. But of course she has no idea her companion will be the devil himself Bryce.
This story really let me feel how much poor Chelsea went through to help Alex. It also let me see just how depraved Bryce was and thank goodness he got what he deserved.
This story was amazing. Seeing how Chelsea overcame the damage dealt to her and how she finally found her true soulmate. I just adore the Infidelity world and am ready for more.
Well, if you loved to hate Bryce in Aleatha Romig's Infidelity series, here he is again in all of his wickedness! In this novella, we get to see behind the scenes of the original novels—all the misery poor Chelsea suffered with this crazy dude. We also get a little more of hot Isaac too.
Don't miss this one where you get another peek at the Infidelity characters we love to hate and hate to love. Happy reading!
This book is written as part of the Infidelity world based on the series by Aleatha Romig. This is Chelsea's story... It begins just after the attack, we read Chelseas thoughts and feelings of desperation during her time with Bryce. Why she made the decisions she did. Don't think this book just repeats scenes we have already read in Aleatha's book because it doesn't. There's so much more. Loved this book!
Oh Chelsea! We suspected how much she suffered protecting Alex from crazy Bryce, but it was far more than we knew. She more than proved how much she was a ride or die friend to Alex.
I was so happy to see her find happiness! She more than deserved it after everything she went through.
This story was a perfect deep dive into everything that went on behind the scenes with Chelsea and a look forward to what happened after she was finally away from Bryce.
wow- Sacrifice is a great addition to the Infidelity Series- it brought two characters to life. It was about friendships and how far someone will go to save that friend. Rae did a great job creating in keeping the characters true to the story. Loved getting to know Chelsea better. If you loved the Infidelity Series by Aleatha Romig- you will love this book.
Rae Riley shared an inside view of Chelsea. Her care with Chelsea's story, her hopes, dreams, and fears resonate through this, her first published novella. "Sacrifice" is a perfect compliment to the Infidelity series. Highly recommend!
A strong women with the sweetest heart. This book was amazing from start to finish. I am so happy to she her story play out after all the darkness she endured.
Sacrifice by Rae Riley is a story that is set in the Infidelity world following the series by Aleatha Romig. Wow. Just Wow. I really loved this look into Chelsea's story. The things that Chelsea went through were hinted at throughout the Infidelity series but to read about her life firsthand was wonderful. We really got a peek into her mind. Rae Riley brought this story to life and gave Chelsea a voice that we didn't get to see before. I really loved this story and I hope, if there are more planned, that we will see more of her. Thank you for letting me read this story!
OMG!! This was the perfect addition to the Infidelity series. I absolutely loved this book!! It was so awesome to read from Chelsea's point of view and to learn her after story. If you're a fan of the Infidelity series you have to read this book. You won't be disappointed!
I loved Chelsea in the Infidelity series, so I was excited to read her story. I wanted to know how she & Isaac ended up together. I enjoyed seeing how strong Chelsea is as a person when dealing with Bryce, and what happened when they were together.
Chelsea was Alex's best friend in the original series. While I always had my doubts about her, I loved this "behind the scenes" look into her life and what she went through with Bryce.
With this book we get a closer look at Chelsea's nightmare of a "relationship" with Bryce. If I didn't want to hurt him already I would after reading this. I loved the Epilogue!
I enjoyed seeing what went on behind the scenes with Chelsea and Bryce. Some of it was worse than I thought but was interesting to see not every minute was torture for her. Her love for her best friend is immeasurable!! The ending left me smiling.
I recently binged read the Infidelity series. One after another, hiding from my husband and child, just to spend a little more time in the world Aleatha Romig had created. After Fidelity I truly missed the characters though I didn't have an interest continuing in the world through another authors eyes. Until I found this book, based on Chelsea's POV, I was intrigued. Still skeptical, I began and finished the same day!
I didn't feel as though I was reading another author, I felt as I should, I was reading from an other characters POV. Chelsea was the same, yet more depth, added dimension, a new look at a familiar situation. She became alive as the story filled in some lingering questions I had. Plus being a fan of Chelsea, I enjoyed and appreciated the ending.
